Subsequently I was experiencing some slight pain deep within tooth, noticeable every once in awhile. Due to a the occasional pain, my dentist suggested I visit the Endo and get their expert opinion before he put a brand new crown on a tooth; a tooth that possibly needed another root canal. My dentist gave me a referral to Park Ridge Endodontics I easily made an appointment at PR Endodontics. I arrived at my first appointment with my referral slip . Dr. C. asked me what was going on, examined the tooth and performed some tests, as well as more in-depth X-rays; X-rays my dentist couldn't provide. She did notice an area deep in my canal that needed to be retreated. She gave me several treatment options (pulling the tooth, leaving the tooth alone and doing nothing or root canal therapy). I chose the option that allowed me to keep my tooth intact. I made another appointment so that I could return for the root canal procedure several weeks later. Dr. C. cleaned and retreated my problem area and I was in and out of the office in no time. My tooth has been perfect ever since my visit with her. She was very kind, smart and explained what she was doing during the procedure. My treatment was taken care of in one visit and I was able to return to my general dentist for a new crown several weeks after. All my visits were done between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I really appreciated that. I was blessed with great dental coverage, so what I paid out-of-pocket was nominal in my opinion. I appreciated the reminder text messages about upcoming appointments. Super clean treatment areas and an inviting reception area. Friendly office staff. They answered my insurance questions with no trouble. Saturday hours! I've since moved away from the NW 'burbs, but I highly recommend PR Endodontics to family and friends still in the area.

I came in with dental pain in late August and after a consultation with Dr. Josie began a treatment plan.I had 3 deep scaling and root planing treatments with Rosetta and a cleaning the likes of which I've never had. Rosetta put me at ease right away and I still can't figure out how she does those injections! They were seamless and I felt nothing throughout the 3 treatments. My first gum surgery with Dr. Josie was in November. Dr. Josie pays so much attention to detail , that she had Rosetta numb me for the surgery as she remembered how well my prior treatments went with her. Dr. Josie explained everything in great detail, has a very calming and reassuring way about her, and explains what is going on throughout the surgery which I appreciate. She is truly the consumate professional in every way!! Libby assisted and the surgery went better than I ever could have imagined. The previous periodontist I had seen was unable to perform the grafting, so I looked around for another nearby office where I could schedule a consultation. After looking around and reading many positive reviews, I scheduled my consultation with Dr. Gupta. After stepping foot in this beautiful office, I could already tell that I would love it - it's so professionally run! The employees have headsets, the communication I received was friendly and consistent, and it's almost like a spa - I was offered sparkling water, there is calming music, a lava lamp, etc. On the day of my surgery, I was given eye protection, headphones with a choice of music to listen to, and the warmest, fluffiest blanket - I was so comfortable and relaxed. My pre-and post-op instructions were very clear, I was given all of the proper products I would need (mouthwash, chlorhexidine, plenty of gauze, long q-tips, etc) and everything went incredibly smoothly (Dr. Gupta was fantastic!) This office truly cares about the patient experience and I will most definitely recommend to others if they are in need of dental procedures.

Across three procedures from 2021 to 2025, after reviewing the history of my account, I was quoted a lower price each time and then billed more after the procedures were done. They blamed the insurance and the app they use to estimate, but the fact is they don't do pre-authorization for their quotes. For my recent procedure in 2025, they failed to disclose a prior denial for the same code and same tooth from 2021, yet still gave me a quote that was wrong and later told me the insurance "unexpectedly declined" the same code. They also pre-charged me before insurance finished processing, without my consent, which broke their own policy and added confusion to the bill. This left me questioning whether they already anticipated there would be a remaining balance - otherwise, the pre-charge and refund back doesn't make any sense. When I reviewed the documents they sent me, I also found another patient's EOB in my file. Overall, this office shows a pattern of low quoting followed by higher bills, lacks transparency in billing, and fails to safeguard patient privacy. If this is their standard practice, I can only imagine how many patients may have ended up with the same experience I had.

Dr N. Jodhan refused to respond to 5+ of my calls - she was mileading, misrepresented my pay by…read moreover $1000, and I believe manipulating. Their staff estimated my service to be $2000+ for a tooth extraction, for which they estimated my insurance would pay half the amount, leaving my responsibility to be $1061.00. to which I paid before I left the premise. A month or two later, I received a bill for $1076.50 - the amount my insurance denied. Looking back, I realized I was naive and they manipulated the situation. I thought they would be accurate by merit that Dr. Jodhan's was a professional organization, that their estimates were accurate based on experience. It was after they put my apron for surgery was put that that said I needed to confirm. I assumed that because they were professionals, I might be obligated to pay $100-200. Also, when though the estimated included a tooth graft, they have the recommendation again - thinking back they knew it was optional all along! $1000+ is a huge amount. Knowing that the insurance company pays a substantially lesser amount than the listed price. And their estimate was way off. I called to discuss a mutually responsible settlement. After ignoring 5+ calls, Dr. Nikisha Jodhan instructed that I could pay the full amount with a payment plan. I find her actions to be irresponsive, manipulative, and misleading--which will cost me $1000+ more than I expected She offered a payment plan after I declared to publicize my experience. I am setting up the payment plan, and I plan to share my experience. I have sent her a similar email--continuing to request discussion. She has not responded. VERIFY ALL INFORMATION BEFORE SITTING ON HER CHAIR!

I recently had my bonds upgraded to veneers on six of my teeth, and the process went very smooth. Dr. Schultz took me in as soon as the veneers came in from the lab (literally called me 30 mins after they arrived!) to switch from my temporaries to the permanents because she knew I had a family party that weekend. I recommended him to them; as I recommend him to everyone. The 10-20 miles is definitely a road block for my downtown friends to see him (literally, on the Kennedy). His Saturday and evening appointments make it a lot easier. I could go to a place a few blocks from my abode, called something like The Art of Dentistry. The "art" part has always been a little frightening to me. I like that Dr. Terp is a complete dental science nerd. Ask him a question, and he'll geek out on the latest technique or product: the ultrasonic cleaner he uses, the difference between filling materials, the benefits/risks of x-rays... He can get as excited as a geek talking about his latest Comic-Con trip: Talk to the hand, bro; I'd rather hear Dr. Terp talk about the mouth, and it's healthier, in my mind. His office staff is great too. Most recently, Adriana was not only physically skillful in cleaning my teeth, but I felt as much tender, loving care from her as I do from Dr. Terp. In fact, this guy's so loving that he's offered free school check-ups to kids and has a coupon for a free first visit on his website. Bonus: he's around the corner from Paradise Pup.
