This is my favorite pizza in Batavia. After living here for a few years, this was my go-to spot. We were back in town for the day hanging out and decided we needed to get some pizza before we went home. We ended up getting a few things which were all delicious. We got a large cheese and pep pizza, some wings, fried mozzarella, and some fried dough bites for dessert. The pizza here has been great and the service is always pretty quick. They have two sides of the restaurant with takeout on one, and dining on the other. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining room is gorgeous and has such a great vibe to it. They have daily deals and this was half a sheet plus wings. The wings were all good but our favorite was the bourbon and berry hot. The other flavors we got was also good. The pizza dough was my favorite since it is soft and fluffy. Flavor wise really nice and portion are huge. Service was great and definitely would come back! read more

This place has really lost ground over the past few years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The male bathroom has been very poorly cleaned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We did keep going back because we enjoyed the staff and food, but it's not going well. Our most recent waitress was great, nobody will live up to Zack, but that's a very high bar. The most recent change was not doing separate checks for us (couples) like they have done for years. We have a large group (6-10) there a couple times a month, but there are better chooses close by that check all the boxes so much better. Hubby found this place for us to stop and have dinner. Great place, kid friendly as well! We tried the Main Street Chicago style pizza - it was really good! But the hot peppers are extremely spicy - we eat spicy and was glad we asked for it to be only on half of the pizza - the spice lingers! The kids make your own pizza was so cute! They bring out the dough, sauce and cheese (plus one topping of your choice). The kids assemble it and they then take it to bake. The lasagna was huge!! Needed a bit more sauce but otherwise really good!! All the portions were huge and we wind up packing up more than half of our food! read more

Came here for a slice, when a competitor down the street decided not to have slices available for dinner. The girl at the register is a keeper. She was super friendly. This place would have been 5 stars if they had their own blue cheese, and not handing out the commercial premade Ken's ones. The slices were lukewarm, and yet still very delicious. At $4 each, it was reasonable for the sizes of the slices. There was a fairly perfect sauce/cheese/roni ratio going on here. Not one of the best, but pretty darn good. Originally first visited with a friend who lived in Batavia. Have since gone back twice when just going for a ride in that direction. Their meatball is huge and delicious, same with the ravioli. Love the flavor of the sauce. Side salad is quite large. Lunch special has many options and a nice value. Definitely will be returning again. Popular with families as they offer a make your own pizza for the kids. One of these days, we will try the pizza. read more

We visited on June 17. Not a pleasant experience. Panini was dry and pretty sure they didn't bring the sauce for it. Broccoli was not cooked. Fruit punch tasted watered down. Waitress was alright. Old lady in the black and white shirt was rude. Snapped at my daughter because she wanted to bring them the bill/money. We had to wait another 10 minutes for the waitress to come and get it. Last night we met friends for dinner. There six of us dining. The server took our order, it was a while before dinner arrived. Everyone got their meal ,except one diner. The server had misheard the order, so everyone else ate while the lone diner waited for her meal. The other diners had issues with their meals. Panini sandwiches that were missing half of the ingredients and french fries that were cold. When the last meal was delivered, we just put it in a box to go. Everyone else was done with their dinner. The server did remove that one meal from the check. She knew there was a problem. We've dined there before and the food and service were good. Last night was a disaster. read more

Was in Batavia for a training class at my employer's main office today. Went to Main St Pizza for lunch. Simply order half a meatball sub to go. It took half an hour which is far to long. Especially since none of it was freshly made. I appreciate that they use slices of larger meatballs but the edges were dry and hard. The roll was also stale. read more

They recently (a year or more??) remodeled and the place is great! Located right on Main Street Batavia. When the weather is nice they open up the big huge windows to the outside. Very nicely decorated inside. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food - O. M. G. I have some favorites and some not so favorites. -The pizza is ok. The sauce is more of a sweet sauce and I'm not a fan. But I could also get a white pizza, right?! -Wings are delicious! My favorite is garlic parm! -Raviolis. My friend ordered these once and I swear the raviolis were literally the size of her head! Tasty! -This last time around I ordered the 2 for $12 at lunch. Caesar salad and Chicken Pesto w/pasta. I could have eaten just the salad for lunch. The portions were huge! Managed to eat part of the chicken and pasta but took it home. Stopped in for pizza but this place is so much more than a pizza place! We went for lunch and there was a lunch special for $12 you got a choice of soup or salad and then choice is pasta or sandwich. You can pick off from any item on the menu so the salad was not limited to just the house salad which is unheard of. The portions are huge for lunch so you'll have leftovers to take home. We started with the stuffed peppers and the flavors were outstanding , the peppers were hotter than I like but you can never tell how hot a pepper is going to be. Ordered a glass of wine and them dinner, service was not fast but not slow either, which considering how busy they were was understandable. I had a Caprese salad which was served in a reasonable timeframe and was very tasty. For an entrée I had a deep dish pizza with pepperoni, sausage and hot peppers. The sauce here is sweet which I enjoyed. My date had Manicotti which she thought was a bit bland. The space is quite attractive, unfortunately the restrooms are single occupancy (one for men, one for women) which made for extended lines and waits on a busy evening. It was recommended to me by a local, and it ended up being over one of my favorites! The sweet & sour was also very nice! Server was a sweetheart and was on it with refills or checking in. Itching to get out and about on a Friday afternoon and to do a little celebrating for big events that happened in the last couple weeks, we enjoyed a few beers around WNY. We ended our tour in Batavia and were seeking out a spot for dinner. Thankfully, coming out of Eli Fish, we saw Main Street Pizza Company and immediately knew where we were going! We walked in a little before 7pm and were greeted by a masked host who let us pick if we wanted to dine inside or outside. We chose inside, just to cool down as it was still warm out. As we were sitting down, he came over with the menus, silverware, and place-mats and noticed that the table was a little dirty and insisted we choose another instead, which was very astute of him! As soon as we were seated, we saw him go right over to that table and clean it more thoroughly so kudos to him! Now, if there was one complaint about our dinner, it was with the service provided by our server. It took him almost 15 minutes after we were seated to finally come to our table and take our drink order. Once our drinks were brought out, he took our dinner order and we didn't see him again for a long while (around 25 minutes or so). I'm sure that our order took that long to prepare and cook but he could've checked in on us once or twice to make sure we were set and to give any updates on our order. When we were ready to get a box to take home and pay for our meal, our server was nowhere to be found until we were up and walking out of the restaurant. We actually ended up talking to masked host who greeted us as we came in and he took care of everything, right away! Now, onto the food! We ordered a half-sheet Sicilian (16 slices) pizza with cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, and Ricotta cheese. The pizza was fantastic, everything about it was perfect! The crust edges were crunchy with the under-crust having a great chew and doughy-ness to it that makes up a Sicilian-style pizza. The sauce coverage was perfect and was more savory than sweet, which I didn't mind at all. The mushrooms were fresh-sliced and plentiful along with the pepperoni, which was not the cup-n-char variety you see from Buffalo. The real star on this pie was the Ricotta cheese, in my opinion, as it added an herbal flavor and provided a cool creaminess. This pizza was soo good, I ate almost half of it, by myself, in one sitting (don't worry, I paid for it later haha)! I ended up bringing the rest home and eating it the next day for dinner. I reheated in the oven at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes and was so happy it tasted just as good the second time! I heard a lot of great things about Main Street Pizza Company in Batavia and I firmly believe them now! I definitely want to come back and try one of their grilled pizzas (control my portions... haha) and hopefully the dine-in service is a little more attentive. read more

Wow!!!!!!!! Definite 5 Star place. Very trendy, bustling place. We were told a 15-20 wait. Seated in 17 minutes. This place was slammed so the servers were running. The portions are huge and food was delicious. The wife and I split an order of veal parmigiana. Rich taste with great breading covered with gobs of delicious melted mozzarella. There was plenty to share. We got our son a pizza that didn't disappoint either. Flakey crust, wonderfully sweet sauce and again, really good cheese. (Stretches really far instead of pulling of the slice like a solid scab) Lastly, that damn meatball! This monster was 10 ounces big and spiced perfectly. All 3 of us ate off of that thing! I've heard so many good things about this place and it definitely was true. When I walked in, it smelled like my Italian grandma's house when she was making sauce. I kept hearing about this giant meatball, so we tried it and it was delicious. Not everyone can make good meatballs and the size of this thing was like a mini meatloaf. We split it between the 4 of us. We got the stuffed jalapeño peppers. It was pretty good. They should warn you , the closer you get to the small part of the pepper is west the seeds are. Woa that was spicy and I love spicy but too much for me. We got the deep dish pizza, cheese and pepperoni , half with meatballs and banana peppers. This pizza was really good. Had an early dinner last Saturday. Great food and excellent service. We were seated had drinks, salad and entrees within 1/2 hour! Food was awesome, as usual! I had Rigatoni Bolognese. A huge Portion! I took more than 1/2 home. The Bolognese was really tasty and just a tad spicy. My dining companion ordered the dish with 3 entrees that included chicken Parmesan with rigatoni, stuffed shells and the huge meatball. She said that the chicken Parmesan was one of the best she's ever had, liked the rigatoni and loved the meatball. We ordered cannoli's to go because we were so stuffed. They were really good too. The service was bonkers, we waited and tried to make eye contact and finally a waitress came over explaining that they had fired staff n didn't know the table was hers. However, she did seem like the only wait staff there. They were out of all the specials, it took more than one trip to the kitchen to report what the chef's choices were, the chicken alfredo came without chicken, the water glass was taken to be refilled and didn't come back without being asked for.
