This was an amazing pizza and wing. They were on point with their timing and very helpful. The inside was under construction so I can't rate the inside. My only criticism I would give them and I give this to many other places. Their carrots were the baby kind, I miss the days when you would get hand cut celery and carrots. When this place first opened, the older guy who ran it was awesome and very accommodating and overall friendly. I used to go there all the time. Since it was passed to his son, IMO, the place fell off a cliff. I ordered wings one night as a buddy from Cali was in town and he wanted Buffalo Wings (as he calls them). I ordered 20 wings 1/2 hot, 1/2 bbq. Imagine how embarrassed I was when we opened them up and had boneless wings. I called to find out what happened and the owner (the son) was super rude and just wanted to get off the phone, told me he'd give me $5 off my next order. Well, that order never happened and I'll tell anyone who will listen to avoid Wally's at all costs. Lovejoy Pizza is way better food, nicer staff and won't randomly deliver bonless wings... Great pizza & wings! Easy ordering and pickup too. Pizza- I recommend the original cheese & pepperoni. They slice their pizzas into squares as opposed to triangle pie cut. I prefer all pieces to have crust but I will survive. Wings- big meaty wings that were fried up to a perfect crisp and had lots of sides of blue cheese to dip. Prices are a lot better than most places in the area and they have daily specials that make it even more worth the drive to go a little further out. The sauce was very good and not over seasoned like most places and the amount of cheese and toppings was insane! The crust was not too thick but still thick enough to be buffalo style. Not sure if it's the owner but the "1 man operator" is extremely rude. I ordered online a half mushroom and sausage, pepperoni pizza. I check my order when I get home the whole thing is mushrooms and sausage. I call back informing about my incorrect order. He is dismissive and basically trying to tell me I ordered wrong then hangs up the phone while I'm talking because it's only him. I go back pizza in hand untouched visibly angry because why would you be so rude and disrespectful. From the sheer disrespect of the hang up I no longer wanted the pizza and wanted a refund or at least know when my refund will be returned he did neither. Instead he tells me he'll give me HALF a refund and to keep the pizza(which I still never received it's going on a week now). I refused because I no longer wanted the pizza due to the disrespect and unprofessionalism. He continues to be disrespectful as I'm trying to explain the problem which was making me more frustrated. Now he is cursing at me so I start doing the same. Then he tells me to leave and calls the police. So instead of being respectful and professional, assessing a problem you caused not thinking if you messed this one up you could have messed up others. But no you didn't care about that you just didn't want to be wrong. Not sure for the rest of the staff but I know if he remains working there you will go out of business. I agree that this place was better when dad ran it. It was a while ago, where I tried to order the pizza special on the app. It wouldn't go through. When I called, he said he didn't turn it on. We've ordered here for years and it's just not the same as it used to be. The menu is a lot smaller now ( though still very sizeable for a pizzeria) which I understand but most of my favorites are gone. The Friday fish fry is a good value. You get a large tasty piece of fish and they manage to keep it crispy but the sides are no longer house made which is a HUGE disappointment. They stopped including potato salad, and baked potatoes are no longer a choice for your potato. I am okay with the no baked potatoes BUT I don't like those commercially sold buckets of macaroni salad and coleslaw. They are always too sweet and fake tasting to me and if I wanted those I'd go to Tops and buy it myself. I expressed this on their facebook page hoping that maybe enough people would also agree and they would change back at some point but instead the owner decided to just delete my comment. I guess constructive criticism isn't welcome there which is a real shame. Being able to really listen to what your customers are saying both good and bad and not just getting offended is what keeps you in business. Moving on. I'm not a fan of the pizza, I like the dough and the toppings but the sauce just isn't to my taste. Not enough oregano which is what makes pizza taste like pizza and not spaghetti sauce and it has an odd flavor to me. Maybe there is too much grated cheese in there? Who knows. I'm not too sure what happened here....I placed a simple online order for a single chicken finger dinner and a chicken souvlaki, through the Yelp app somewhere between 7:30pm-7:45pm. The order went through just fine, I even got an order confirmation number and a notice stating delivery would occur between 8:35pm & 8:55pm. suddenly I realized it was after 9pm and still hadn't received my order. I hopped on Yelp to track the order and found out that they had completely cancelled my order altogether! I never received a phone call or a text. Further digging brought me to the conclusion that they emailed me to tell me my order was cancelled. Why on earth would I know to check my email after my delivery never showed up, for an explanation why, when I already had an order confirmation number?! This caused me to lose precious time where I could have been looking for an alternative. But by the time I had figured out what happened, all places offering delivery were closed ( its Sunday). This place clearly stated on Yelp that they were open until 9pm, I ordered at 7:30pm, and they're less than five miles from my house!! Totally bummed and inconvenienced. read more

We ordered a small cheese and pepperoni pizza, with 10 honey mustard wings. Well the wings are pretty standard, but the pizza is phenomenal. So this place is up the road from my work. It looks relatively newer, so I figured I'd give them a try and test out a chicken finger sub. Called in the order and was told 20 minutes. Told them I had my order, he checked in the back and said they were just finishing up. I paid for the sub which came to just under $8, not a bad price. Waited another 5 minutes or so for the sub then. (not why it took you 25 minutes when no one else was there I dunno but whatever). Walked the sub back to my work and went to dig in. Size was average, fingers were not the greatest. No crunch and breading was a bit mushy although could have been due in part to 10 minutes it took to walk it back. I ordered it hot but I would say it tasted more medium. All in all not the best I've had but lower price makes up for it a bit, so I'd check them out again. read more

Grabbed a breakfast pizza from here while visiting Buffalo for a wedding. We were staying in Cheektowaga and needed something to cure our vicious hangovers. My boyfriend, the Buffalo native, was in worse shape than I was, so he was little help in choosing a pizza place. Yelp led me to Wally's. It was a short drive from where we were staying. I called immediately after they opened, so my order took awhile since the ovens were still heating up. I did have to wait for about 10-15 minutes after I arrived for pick up before my pizza was ready. The owners were very nice and asked if I wanted any coffee while I waited. Buffalo is the land of a thousand pizzas and everyone has their own favorite pizza place, and I have found mine. Walking in to the cute and clean dining room and being greeted by the staff had us feeling welcome right away! We ordered the deep fried pizza which isn't on the menu, but I'm glad I heard about it.
