Look no further, these guys are your electricians! I am astounded by the service we received. I live in San Diego and I needed some help for my elderly mother in law who lives in DHS. In the middle of the hottest days of the year, her broken portable AC unit caused some electrical problems that blew out her power to some parts of her home. I called and spoke to John, explained the situation and he had an idea what the problem was. Unfortunately he was booked up and said he couldn't make it out to her until Friday. However because he was sympathetic to my mother in law, and how hot it was, he said if something opened up, he would squeeze her in and contact me. Thursday rolls around and he calls with an opening 10 mins out. Super friendly. Very accommodating. Very understanding to what my mother in law was going through to the point that they did some little jobs for her outside of what they were hired to do--without charging! My elderly mother in law doesn't trust anyone and these guys made such a difference in how she feels about people because of the generosity and service she received during this service call. This good experience gave us some credibility to trust her family to take care of her. He even went above and beyond what I expected and fixed a live wire that was left exposed by some other electrician several years ago. I was referred to John Ayala Electric by my handyman. They are a family owned company, both Father and Son showed up on-time, knew immediately what was wrong with the outlet for my plug-in car which had sparked the day before and tripped the circuit (220v, ouch!). They quickly found the problem (two very old GFIs that were well-hidden in and outside the garage and). They installed one new one and the second just needed to be reset. Sounds simple but the weird locations where the GFIs were installed (nowhere near the bathrooms) might have stumped a less knowledgeable electrician. All it cost us was a one hour service call and the cost of one new GFI. John Sr. has been working in the valley here for over 30 years.
