As another review said, it's never a good day when you urgently need an electrician. Our business happens to be located on a working wind farm. We were having lots of electrical issues and then lost power with no clear cause, so we called Brudvick. Turns out the main problem was a blown fuse on the high voltage line that services our business, which the electric utility solved quickly (also amazing and professional). At my urging, the tech from Brudvick (Lenard, I think) opened our panel anyway and, lo and behold, he found a major problem brewing, with circuit breakers partially melted at the back. Likely this was the cause of our problems for the last few months or longer. No additional service calls, no return another day, no ordering parts. Needed parts were located and the work done within a few hours. I am delighted with Brudvick and recommend them. read more

When Brudvik came out to give us an estimate, they took a full inventory of what needed to be done and purchased. We hired them, but when they showed up, it was as if they'd never seen our house before. We had to take them through everything to be done again, have in-depth discussions about some of the challenges, etc ... all while the clock was ticking. When they left to pick up a couple items, they were gone for over 2 hours (again, on our dime) and returned empty handed. They later said they would get the pieces and return another day, but we'd have to pay for another service call. Their workmanship left a lot to be desired. While installing a new light switch, they cut the hold WAY too big and took a large chunk out of our wall. Then they broke one of our security shutters and charged us for the hour it took them to get it working again. It took 4 phone calls to get anybody to call me back to discuss all this and I was promised the owner would call me "right back" after he spoke with the crew. That was 3 weeks ago and we haven't heard anything from them. Of the long list of things we asked to be done, less than half were actually completed. I would NOT recommend them AT ALL. read more

We recently had an electrical short in our home causing the lights and ceiling fans to go on/off on their own. Our home warranty company assigned an out-of-area contractor who never did get here, after a week of wrangling about appointment times. We got the authorization to use any company we wished, and we found Brudvik. (BTW, the home warranty company is now putting Brudvik on their list of approved contractors!!). Brudvik responded to us immediately, came out yesterday and located the source of the problem and had it fixed in no time at all. A shorted wire in the J-Box had burned and created a rather scary fire hazard for us. We can't say enough about their professionalism, speedy response and knowledge. All this for $97.50, and our warranty company is reimbursing us! read more
