Dr Silverman was my dentist for less than a year - and I was unhappy with the service and would NOT recommend his office! He certainly had damaged the left side of my gum nerve after the filling service he provided.
I originally selected him as a provider because of the location and was able to schedule appointment in short notice for teeth cleaning. I only saw 1 older lady working at the front desk during my visits and she wasn't always there the few times I went back/called; which now makes me wonder if he has some cash-flow issue. Anyways, he wasn't friendly when I first went for the teeth cleaning and he recommended that I get filling for 2 cavities I had. My previous dentist had said the same thing before so I decided to go head and get the service. That was the worst mistake --he was extremely rough and could feel him yanking the filling material although he had given me the numbing shot. It was clear that he was getting frustrated and my gum was bleeding. After the procedure I wan unable to chew on the left side of my mouth for over 3 weeks, has constant sharp pain and felt uneven ( like I had a piece of meat between my teeth). At this point I was afraid the area is infected so I rescheduled another appointment for follow up. He quickly checked and said there was no infection. It took over 8 months for the constant sharp pain to go away -- I consulted other dentist and explained to me it was a nerve damage and was able to re-do the filling. Unfortunately I'm still afraid to chew meat (unless it's extremely soft) on the left side because it just doesn't feel right. Please stay away from him! He looked like he hates his job and was just counting his retirement days...not even sure why he's still practicing. read more
