I would give Dr. Diaz 6 stars if I could. This was my first time having plastic surgery. I had a very deviated septum and wanted the aesthetic fixed as well. My nose wasn't straight, I didn't like my side profile and one of my nostrils was almost flat to where my breathing was affected. I set up a consultation with Dr. Diaz first to see what he could offer. Dr. Diaz is extremely knowledgeable and at the top of his field. I felt very comfortable telling him what I was unhappy with and what I would like to change. He is very forthcoming and clear about what to expect. I ended up getting a septoplasty/ rhinoplasty to fix my deviated septum, side profile & nostrils. His transparency was truly appreciated since he didn't over promise but definitely overdelivered. I absolutely love my new nose, it's only been a month post-op and I love the look and new functionality I have. I basically created a Yelp account so I could write a rave review about Dr. Diaz. If it was possible to give him and his amazing staff 100 stars, I would. I went in for my consultation about a chin implant and chin lipo and it was the weirdest/coolest thing. He has this machine that takes a 3D picture of you, scans it into the computer, and then he can edit it so you can see what you'd look like with...whatever. He was the nicest, sincerest person and I felt like he really listened to what I said. I then met with Megan who discussed payment and dates. I wasn't 100% committed after the consultation and she didn't force me to make a decision at all. In fact, it her her suggestion that I wait and call back after thinking about things. Their prices are also significantly lower than other surgeons in the BH area. I decided to move forward after a week and the process was very easy. The staff is always available for questions through text, email, phone and they always answer within 24 hours. They're also extremely friendly and supportive. Surgery was SUPER easy. I got calls the day before from the staff and from the anesthesiologist who was just checking to see if I had any questions! It was the easiest healing process and I barely took any of the pain medication because I felt fine. I went in for the one week follow up and things were already looking a lot better. Like an idiot, I accidentally hit myself in the face/jaw, which caused an infection. I called the office and they saw me a few hours later. Dr. Diaz talked to me the next day and felt so bad even though it was completely my fault. He even told me to call him on the weekend if things didn't improve. Luckily, the medication he gave me fixed it up in a couple of days! Since then, I have absolutely LOVED what he's done. It made such a difference in my appearance and confidence, but it looks so natural that people can't figure out what I had done. Let me start by saying that I had originally gone to Dr. Diaz in October for JUST a consultation and ended up walking out with a surgery date in November. I was quite insecure about my nose but did not feel ready to have surgery quite yet, that was until I met Dr. Diaz and his staff. Upon walking in, the staff greeted me and were extremely friendly. He answered any and all questions that I had had, showed me what my nose would look like before and after, and was extremely realistic in what to expect. A few weeks before surgery, I had decided that I wanted to tweak the after picture just a little bit. Upon calling his office, I was somewhat nervous because some surgeons can get offended when you try and change what they envision. However, Dr. Diaz was extremely reassuring and told me that I was the patient and if there was something I was not happy with and wanted to tweak I was more than welcome to, he just wanted me to be happy, thus making me even more comfortable and confident for surgery day. Fast forward to the day of surgery, I was just a little nervous but also felt very calm and ready. Dr. Diaz came in before the surgery to check in with me to see how I was doing, and showed me updated pictures of what my nose would look like per our last conversation. He again made me feel very comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. The recovery was honestly not that bad. The worst part for me was not being able to breathe out of my nose for about a week or two, but I know that was completely normal. I am someone who asks a lot of questions, so I wrote them all down as they came to me and called his office after my procedure multiple times that week. Each time they were so accommodating, kind and patient. They always told me to call back if I had any other questions, and I did. I am going on three months and am LOVING my nose. I know there is still some swelling internally and externally but I am so happy and grateful that I found Dr. Diaz. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I was referred to him by a friend of mine who had gotten her surgery with Dr. Diaz a few months prior to mine. I had gotten a few consultations in Orange County before going to Dr. Diaz and I never had gotten them done because they were just too expensive for me to afford. Dr Diaz's prices are so affordable and very competitive which is crazy considering the location of his office.
