I saw him for a consultation (for a procedure I wasn't even planning on having anytime soon) but after meeting him I scheduled it right away. His office is run by very friendly, smart and lovely women. I was very happy with the entire experience. I didn't expect the experience to be so easy, but it was! Additionally, he has an awesome Aesthetician, Lorne-Nicole, who works with him doing Hydrafacials. I really have found a great resource in her to help me keep my skin in tip-top shape. She is gorgeous and knows exactly what to recommend to ensure that you get the most out of your facial. My experience with Dr. Diaz and his entire practice exceeded my expectations. I have always thought about a breast augmentation and I finally put effort into starting the process earlier this year. I made consultations with a few doctors that had amazing Yelp reviews, one of whom was Dr. Diaz. After I had my consultation with him (he was my first) I cancelled all my others. The penthouse is impeccable and every staff member I came in contact with was nice, helpful, and welcoming. I went to John Diaz to have a revision rhinoplasty since I was unhappy with my primary rhinoplasty. I went to John Diaz specifically for a nasal tip refinement since my nasal tip was still bulbous and I was just unhappy with it. After I decided to choose John Diaz to have my revision rhinoplasty after my procedure, about months later, I noticed that my nasal tip was still round and bulbous and even worse there's a bump on the right side of my nose. So if you feel down my nose you'll feel, and can also see, that there's a huge bump on the right side leaving my nasal tip asymmetrical and completely noticeable!!!! I believe I got my revision rhinoplasty with John Diaz in 2016 and now finally after years of going through depression because of how unhappy I've been with this asymmetrical tip I am getting a third rhinoplasty!!!! This time with another surgeon in Florida to correct the mistakes of John Diaz. I do feel terrible of having to write this review, but I also don't want someone to make the same costly mistake I did. He's a very nice man, but not someone I would allow to work on my nose. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Diaz. I've been saving up and researching different surgeons for a while before I decided to get a consultation last month. Although I live 72 miles away and most of my visits have taken 1.5-2 hours of driving time each way, I am convinced that I made the right decision in trusting Dr. John Diaz with my surgeries. I am now 5 months post-op, and my results continue to improve. In my opinion, my augmented breasts look and feel better than natural post-breastfeeding breasts, and my abdominoplasty incisions are beautiful in their design! I had previously met with three Board-certified plastic surgeons while considering cosmetic surgery, but I first learned of Dr. Diaz after a family member mentioned that she had undergone breast augmentation with him. I asked her many questions and she recommended I consider contacting them for a consultation. Initially, I submitted a web request for a consult but did not receive a response. Then I called and was able to schedule my consultation for breast augmentation and abdominoplasty. There was a fee for the augmentation consultation, but that fee paid for the incredibly valuable ability to actually see what my results would look like on my chest afterward, as opposed to stuffing a surgical bra with implant samples or using stockings filled with rice. My surgeries were scheduled for the same day in March 2016. Everything beforehand went smoothly and any questions or concerns I had in the first month following my surgeries were addressed with compassion. Personally, I had no complications and I believe that partly has to do with the great care Dr. Diaz takes to ensure the best results while in the operating room... I had my rhinoplasty done with Dr. Diaz about a week ago, and I have never had such an incredible experience with a doctor and staff, before, during, and after the surgery. The whole procedure from beginning to end was practically painless and the bruising was so minimal it was almost as if it wasn't there at all. He's a true artist, and a wonderful surgeon. Their anesthesiologist was PERFECTION. His name started with an "M"...if I can figure it out I'll come back and update this. My veins are almost impossible to put an IV in. Every time I've had to get an IV the anesthesiologists blow the veins-often to the point that they have to give up and move to the other arm or my hands. This doctor put it in in seconds, on the first try, and used the PERFECT amount of anesthesia that even when I woke up I was pain free but not at all groggy or sick feeling. I wish I could pack him in my suitcase and bring him with me whenever I need an IV put in, seriously.
