    5 months post op

Dr. Roger Tsai did my rhinoplasty in December 2022! I am a little over 8 months post op and I am absolutely in love with my nose! He really took the time in our consultation to discuss exactly what I wanted & also what he thought would look best with my features! It was a life changing procedure and I am so thankful to Dr.Tsai for giving me my dream nose! His office staff at Verona Plastic Surgery were very helpful throughout the entire process & even checked on me after my surgery once I got home! Thank you to Bree (director of patient relations) for always being so sweet! Also, thank you to Marina for always answering all of my questions !! I highly recommend Dr.Tsai to anyone looking to get a rhinoplasty, you won't be disappointed! I always get compliments on my nose and always recommend going to Dr. Tsai ! Sincerely , Devyn Alexandrea Gray

Choosing Dr.Tsai as my plastic surgeon was one of the best decisions I've ever made!! Dr. Tsai performed rhinoplasty revision on me 4 months ago, and he didn't just "fix" my nose - he crafted a beautiful work of art. Rhinoplasty "revision" is known to be more complicated of a procedure, because of the leftover scar tissue from the first nose job, and it can be hard to achieve perfect results. Yet Dr.Tsai gave me everything I wanted, and more!! He brought my nose closer to my face, removed the bump, lifted up the hanging down tip, made the tip smaller, and gave me the cute little ski slope bridge I wanted. My new nose changed my entire face - in the best way! I always used to feel the need to wear tons of makeup around everyone, but now I feel beautiful without it. It's an amazing feeling. Also - Dr.Tsai also has the BEST attitude. He's so positive, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. I met with a lot of plastic surgeons, and a lot of them tend to have a bit of a cocky attitude - but Dr.Tsai is really such a kind, genuine soul. He made me feel so comfortable, and I love all the girls on his staff as well. They are all so much fun, and will make you feel very supported throughout the process! I attached photos so you can see the before and after. This is just 4 months post op - all the swelling will be gone at 1 year post op, and that is when you get to see the final results. But it looks AMAZING already!!

    4 months post op

July 2024 I never posted my draft from last year. Tbh there were phases in my recovery where I felt some level of disappointment because my facial swelling stood in the way of me seeing results in any way, thus I refrained from posting my initial happy review. Not once did I think it would take longer than a year to see the change, even Dr. Tsai was under the impression that 8 months was enough. I am ashamed to admit that I did partially blame Dr. Tsai for not achieving the V shaped jawline. That didn't stop him from encouraging me and reassuring me. It took some time for me to accept the fact that my genetics played a big role in the results (I have a naturally receding lower jaw which is probably going to have to be a bigger fix). Now that I am 1+ year post op and I'm looking back at the photos, I do see that there is a significant difference in my face. Needless to say, I am happy with my choice and sorry for blaming you for the longest time Dr. Tsai!! It's really not you, it's me! Please remember people, plastic surgeons aren't magicians! Shout out to Dr. Tsai, Dr. Kim, Leidy, and Misako RN! Amazing team, makes you feel like family!! Surgery is scary. This was my first time ever getting anything done. I was beyond scared, but Dr. Tsai and his team made the made me feel so at ease! The second I met Leidy and Dr. Tsai I just knew I could trust Dr. Tsai to dig into my face while I'm knocked unconscious. And that's important, your surgeon should make you feel that way. I am exactly 1 week post-op as of today from submandibular/ neck lipo, buccal lipectomy, and fat grafting to the chin. I still look like a frog without my compression band and like a dumpling with it on, which is expected. So, I will be following up with results in a few weeks. But, I just wanted to pop in and say that as a health care professional myself, I absolutely adored the care I've received here. Love Dr. Tsai and his team, they're all very professional with great bedside manner!

Update: I have had two other previous patients DM me since posting this review that have had the same experience/dangerous result. Please do your research. Tips I've learned when selecting the right surgeon: -if they are offering any specials or deals, run away! No accredited rhinoplasty surgeon will ever offer a deal as they know the value in their work. -rhinoplasty is the hardest plastic surgery to execute. Find a surgeon that only specializes in rhinoplasty and facial surgery such as an ENT. Anyone that can "do it all cosmetically" is not the best. -pay attention to the surgeons nose style. Some surgeons specialize in the "Barbie nose", the Diamond tip style, the natural look, etc. If you know the aesthetic you are looking for, find a surgeon that best suits this. -find a surgeon that can preserve your bone and understands the importance in dorsal preservation. One major reason why I say this is because if you are botched & need to get a revision surgery then this allows another surgeon the opportunity to reconstruct even better since parts of your nose were preserved. Considering a revision at this time has brought up more risks & concerns that I never knew before. It's terrifying so do the research! -Open vs closed rhinoplasty. After a lot of research, open is best. It has more precision for a doctor to be able to see your entire anatomy and execute. Closed rhinos can lead to major nose dents and issues due to they are chipping away at your nose without being able to fully see what they are doing 100%. -Be very clear in what you want to the doctor. Request imaging no matter what or examples of previous patients so you know if you're on the same page or not. This is a major key in trying to get exactly what you want- 1 of the biggest mistakes I made & now I'm living with this terrible result. Be very clear and careful. You need to feel confident they can give you your dream nose. -Be patient! Interview multiple doctors until you find the right one for you. Don't feel bad in wasting their time because ultimately it's your time & money being spent. The healing is tough but if you get the results you want it's worth it. Research is everything & take your time to find the right surgeon for you if you decide it's what you want. I hope this helps people!

    Asymmetrical and collapsed nostrils

First off when I got out of surgery my cast wasn't even placed correctly there was a gap as you can see in the picture. 2- my breathing worsened. I wake up with about 20-30% of air flowing through my nose. I have to breathe through my mouth so I don't feel like I'm suffocating. And throughout the day I have to constantly clean it so I can breathe properly and that only lasts about 30mins and then I have to clean it again. 3- he left my nostrils uneven, they look collapsed. He also tucked in my nasal sill and retracted my collumella. He made my nose look like a pig. 4- there are some dents in my nose that I didn't have prior to surgery. And the bone on the left side of my nose is wider. 5 - I can't raise my eyebrows because the bridge feels tight and when I try and raise my eyebrows I can feel my skin stretch. This surgery is my first surgery ever and my biggest regret. I'm too embarrassed to go out in public. I've been crying every night because it feels horrible knowing your nose is worse than it was before. I trusted him with my nose and his consultant was very sweet and kind which made me think I was in good hands, but his work is not it. He also doesn't give good post op care instructions. If you're planning on going with him think about it because I recently found out he's been sued twice! really analyze his work and go to other consultations because he doesn't take the time to really know his patients.

For my first surgery, getting a rhinoplasty I definitely don't regret getting it with Roger Tsai , he did an amazing job he knows how to go based off your luck and what you want for your goals on your procedure. I definitely recommend going to this doctor because of how he doesn't leave no scars. He also is really friendly and nice and easy to speak to, and if you have any questions and help you. I'll definitely get another procedure done with him if I ever consider getting more surgery.

Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. Thank you Dr Kim and team :')

From the moment I arrived, the entire consultation felt surprisingly impersonal. Most of my appointment was spent with very young staff members rather than the surgeon himself. By the time I actually met with Dr. Barrett, it was only for about five minutes. He was pleasant and professional, but the entire experience felt rushed and transactional. I left almost feeling like it was a fever dream, it was over so quickly that I walked away confused instead of confident. The biggest disappointment was being told that the only way I would have a good breast augmentation result was with a lollipop lift and implants. I wasn't told this as an option it was presented as essentially the only option that would look good for my anatomy. I left feeling discouraged and thinking I didn't really have a choice. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and scheduled consultations with other highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeons. Every other surgeon had a different perspective. I ultimately chose another extremely reputable surgeon who recommended Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle (subfascial). He explained that because I had only mild pseudo-ptosis, the implant itself would provide the subtle lift and upper-pole fullness I was looking for without requiring a lollipop lift. I'm now on the other side of surgery, and I could not be happier with my results. I got exactly the look I wanted, avoided unnecessary scars, and didn't need the more invasive procedure I had been told was my only option. To be clear, I don't think Dr. Barrett was unkind. He was nice during the brief time we spoke. My issue was that the consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and left me feeling defeated rather than educated. Looking back, I'm so grateful I sought additional opinions before making such an important decision. My biggest advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is this: please get multiple consultations. One surgeon's opinion is not always the only answer. I'm incredibly thankful I kept looking because I'm absolutely thrilled with the surgeon I chose and my results.

After living with a problem from a previous surgery for over 35 years, I finally decided to have it corrected, and I only wish I had done it much sooner. Going into this surgery, I was extremely apprehensive. Since this was a revision procedure, I had a lot of concerns and uncertainty. From my very first consultation, Dr. Rahban took the time to truly listen to me. I never felt pressured--instead, he genuinely cared that I was emotionally and mentally ready before moving forward. That level of compassion and integrity meant so much to me. It's been about three months since my tummy tuck, muscle and hernia repair, and I am still in shock…read moreat how amazing the results are. This was actually a revision of a previously botched liposuction procedure by a different surgeon which left me with significant lumps, bumps, and other irregularities. For years, I had become extremely insecure with the way my body looked and would stay covered up at all costs, even when simply changing clothes. After following Dr. Cat on social media and seeing such beautiful results, I finally made the decision to go for it. And I'm so happy I did. Dr. Cat is truly amazing! She is so incredibly skilled and meticulous. She and her staff, including Julie, Amy, Emily, and her surgical team, are so caring and patient. I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt like they were my extended family looking after me through every step of the process. The results have far exceeded my expectations! Thank you Dr. Cat and your wonderful team!!

I've been wanting to share my most honest experience about getting breast augmentation. It took me…read moreabout two years from the moment I decided to get the surgery to actually doing it, because I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. If you are considering this journey, I hope my story helps you make the right choice! From the moment I connected with Dr. Cat and her team, I realized they are the real deal. Just like it says on their website, they truly treat and care for every single patient like a celebrity. From the very first consultation, their response time was immaculate. I never once felt like I had to chase them down or initiate a follow-up. Throughout the entire process, you genuinely feel cared for, valued, and safe. You're not just another patient to them, you are completely taken care of. Since my surgery, a lot of friends have been asking me about the price. To be completely honest and this is exactly what I keep telling everyone , the implants themselves are similar. You're always going to choose a reputable, high-quality silicone brand. But what you are truly paying for is the doctor's expertise, precision, and surgical skill. A surgeon's technique entirely dictates your recovery process. You do not want to cut corners just to save money, only to end up with a painful recovery, uneven results, or severe infections that costs even more money to fix later on. Breast augmentation is a major life decision, and you must choose your surgeon wisely. Your body deserves the best. Thanks to our back-and-forth communication, Dr. Cat perfectly created the exact breast shape I wanted! I am so incredibly happy and grateful that I found Dr. Cat and her amazing team. They completely exceeded my expectations! *The photos I'm sharing is from exactly one month post-op!

Nurse Angella is hands down the best of the best, and the only person I would let touch my face. As…read morea medical student looking to go into aesthetic medicine myself, I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing a provider that I truly trust. Her skill, precision, and honesty are unmatched, and the level of empathy that she's able to maintain throughout every single appointment is something that cannot be replicated. She also has no problem with saying no, which I think is one of the greatest traits an injector can have, and always follows up with a thorough explanation of her rationale in a way that is easily digestible. I've been going to her for over 3 years now for Dysport in different parts of my face as well as my traps, have had zero complications, and have loved how natural my results have been every time. I moved up to Norcal a year ago, but still fly down every 4-5 months to see her. Furthermore, in March, after seeing Angella for my initial follow-up dose of Dsyport, I made the mistake of getting a touch-up with someone else in NorCal because I did not have time to come back down to LA within the time frame that I needed to. For context, my masseters are just extremely strong and sometimes require more units than expected, since it depends on how much teeth grinding I do both at night and throughout the day, all of which is heavily influenced by how stressed I am from school and work. This is unfortunately something that I wish I had never done because their approach was not compatible with the goals that I had communicated to them, leaving me with my left masseters looking larger than the right, as well as my face looking rounder because of where they injected the Dysport. Waiting a couple of months for this second round of Dysport to wear off was extremely frustrating and interfered significantly with my understanding of my image. When I saw Angella again after 4 months, she immediately noticed the imbalance in my face and explained the exact technique she would use to address it, aligning directly with my goals and remembering them. I walked away from this appointment feeling incredibly grateful for her and beyond excited to be reunited, and also so sure that I would never let anyone else touch my face out of convenience ever again. All in all, I could not recommend Angella more. She is a true artist and gem in the world of aesthetic medicine, and she's made me feel so confident in myself.

I wish I would've sued this untalented doctor. After he botched me said he couldn't fix it bc it's…read moretoo risky and then basically told me to get lost. He already got the check so he no longer cared.
