Stopped in here while skiing at Jiminy Peak. The plus is that it has table service and not as crowded as the other food locations on the mountain. I liked that we were able to relax and the prices are comparable to the other locations, so that makes it a four. What drops my rating to a three is the place is understaffed and it took us about 45 minutes to get food. Overall, I like the food here and the fact they have a kids' menu.

I came here a couple of times 5-8 years ago and didn't love it, but this experience was so much better. We did sit at the bar as there was no hostess to seat us and we were ready for food the minute we arrived, but the bartender was also the manager and he was very helpful! He made great recommendations (and great drinks), he even suggested a meal that he said was his recipe, and my guy really enjoyed it. Next time I'm staying across the street at Vacation Village, I'll definitely come back for a meal here, and this is actually the closest restaurant to the resort. On a night you don't feel like driving 10-30 miles for dinner, give this place a shot! Oh, I'd definitely recommend the Peach Blueberry Crisp, it was delicious!

    Beer flight! $9.99.

Waited over one and 1/2 hours for food to come. Food came out cold, had to send it back to be reheated.

Beautiful setting, and Sue was a very nice waitress. Our food was good, and really enjoyed the Sierra Hazy IPA.

Can't write much other than we were refused to be seated or even to order something for takeout. Twice.

This is a very quaint and antique-ish restaurant which makes you feel like you're in your living…read moreroom. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were very good. I had the New York strip with lobster. Unfortunately the steak was a bit dry and tough (I oredered it medium). But the lobster was great, served in a little bowl already peeled with butter and ready to eat! It seems my meal may have been sitting for a while. Way too much mashed potatoes and green beans! I could barely cut the steak because the plate was so full. The hubby ordered the mussel puttanesca which he LOVED. The sauce was delicious and it was nice and hot. For dessert we had the brownie with chocolate ice-cream. Brownie was nice and warm. Server was friendly. Their bar has limited options so don't expect anything too fancy!

Saltimbocca entree was terrible. It came as a chicken cutlet a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on top.-not melted or rolled as recipe calls for- Marsala sauce lacking-no mushrooms. It came with a side of spaghetti which was served with tomato sauce on the same plate which combined with the Salimbocca. My dates choice was a chicken dinner with blackberry sauce which she enjoyed. Dessert and coffee were fine.

Hugely disappointed…read more Two stars for ample parking (a rarity in Pittsfield), our server, and KENO. Menu looked right up our alley. Had nachos to start and the Hudpucker Smashburger. Wanted to keep it simple and at its core competency. Nachos were dry, luke warm and had huge strips of romaine lettuce - like salad size (there's irony coming up). 2oz soufflé cups of sour cream and jarred salsa were our only refuge. Made a huge mistake and got the steak add on. Cold, stringy steak-um type product thrown on the top in one large lump. Their smashburger is not a thin smashed patty that may come to your mind. It's a standard 6oz pre-form that they call "smash" as an excuse to put a steak weight on it and cook it beyond recognition. The brioche bun is "fake brioche." Has the outer look, but is super dry and tasteless. The irony was I ordered and paid for a side salad. It came in a tiny soup cup and in it had the shredded lettuce and pico I would expect on the nachos. Just really was hopeful. I could see a good vibe at times in there if you're under 25yrs old. Otherwise, the atmosphere offered little to off-set the meal.

Beautiful architecture, dating back hundreds of years. We were impressed by the People's Pub. Pool and darts on the second floor, and bar and dining area on the first. We spent a good amount of time admiring the wood work around the bar and restaurant, as well as the tin ceilings. We ordered more food that we probably should have, but it all sounded so good, that with the winter menu coming to a close, we knew we would likely not have a chance to order it again. We chose to sit at the bar, and enjoyed a whiskey and pisco sours, made with actual eggs. The open kitchen is a nice touch, and it was nice to see the well staffed restaurant handle the Friday night dinner crowd. Portions for most dishes were a generous size, and we enjoyed the variety of choices. We can't wait to come back to try the spring menu, or to come on one of the special nights, such as the live Irish music.
