My experience with Dr Le was unfortunately not a great one. She kept insisting that my need for corrective lenses was my own fault and that I needed to perform eye yoga on a regular basis to correct this. She insisted that I relax my eyes and try to get the letters on the exam chart to focus during my exam on lines I couldn't normally read. As a result, I had a prescription that provided double vision and an inability to recognize faces, read, or see clearly 20 feet away. She said she intentionally gave me a lower prescription and to keep doing my eye yoga to make the prescription better at home. I came back to the office a week later frustrated and expressed my ongoing concern to Dr. Le. I wasn't able to function properly at work and was consistently getting headaches trying to focus my vision to "normalcy." She was clearly irritated with me and said I wasn't trying hard enough with the eye yoga. I've been wearing glasses for the last 30 years and have never experienced this with any other optometrist. After a bit of resistance she reluctantly gave me a stronger (but still not strong enough) prescription and insisted that I continue doing eye yoga at home. I had to deal with this poor prescription for the rest of the year to avoid additional fitting and exam fees, which continues to be frustrating. I seen Dr Tran and Dr Mendoza, both did a thorough exam and even the office staff were great and efficient. They were pretty busy (which I knew they would be) but it seemed they worked quickly and efficiently. I had a positive experience, Dr Tran really had a good helpful way she treated me. I felt she really cared about me and my eye health and my over all health. Also the prices are pretty competitive and I didn't feel like she nickle and dimed every little thing. I got a thorough exam and I even have a follow up visit. I had an eye issue that she treated and also prescribed antibiotics and I also left with an eye wash. I felt very cared for and I felt so much better after my time with her. Also this Dr has a nice variety of glasses to choose from and the office was clean and organized. Even the bathroom was clean and stocked. The front staff was also friendly and helpful. This is by far the best optometrist experience I have ever had and I been wearing glasses for 40 years. The issue began when I left the doctor and was attended to by Nora H, a staff member. After showing me the glasses they carried she explained that I could buy the frames from another location but had to bring them back so they could install the lenses. She said that the insurance required them to send the glasses to a specific lab in order to install the lenses. Therefore I did not need my prescription. After speaking with my wife, who has been wearing glasses most of her life, she found the interaction unbelievable. Eventually I returned and forcefully asked for my prescription. Although my experience with the doctor was great the deceitful practices employed by the staff is enough reason me never to return.
