The staff and doctor were super nice and explained everything with detail. They had great options to Pick from even with medical insurance. I'll be taking my next kid here. Update: yea they was nice but considering that my son has a severe eye problem and they're saying his glasses need to be returned because the "lenses keep popping out" I'm extremely upset because my son needs them and now have to wait ANOTHER 4 weeks. That's not convenient and frustrating. The appointment already took forever. So I made this appointment December 15 , 2025 & now it's the middle of February. I guess the process will take 3-4 weeks just to get glasses? I switched from going from Walmart but tbh I've NEVER had this issue. We have been getting the run around with my father in law's insurance and unable to see the right specialist for his eye (sudden lost vision ) . What a blessing to have met Dr. Q. Tran at the verve city church! How I met her, my son asked Dr. tran's husband (who volunteers with the kids at church) to pray for his grandpa. Long story short, Dr. tran's husband recommended to speak to his wife since she is an optometrist. Dr. Tran doesn't cover my father in law's insurance but took us in anyway. The next day, might I add! She ran some tests and was able to determine what was going on and was able to refer us to a retina specialist immediately. She even followed up with us often to see how he was doing and if we were able to get treated. She was concerned if it wasn't treated quickly, he may lose his vision permanently. I have been suffering with ocular rosacea and severe dry eye for 2 years now. I had been to numerous doctors and specialists and been prescribed every drug on the market, but I was still suffering and in a lot of pain and discomfort. I decided to try IPL, even though I had a very negative experience with it in in the past and I was terrified to give it another try. I met with Dr. Tran and had a consultation with her to run some tests and determine what was causing my dry eyes. I felt very comfortable with her, so I decided to give the IPL another shot. She was so compassionate and really took her time to explain everything to me to help calm my fears. She couldn't have been nicer or more caring. I just completed my 5th IPL session today and my glands aren't clogged for the first time in 2 years. Inland Family Optometry is the best. I visited their Rancho office in the past and had a great experience there, but this office is even closer to my house so I decided to give it a try. First, the front desk staff was very friendly and it was super easy to book appointments for my 3 kids over the phone. I found their text message reminders helpful and I especially appreciated the fact that I was able to easily reschedule 2 of our appointments via text. Upon arriving, the office is immaculate, clean, and welcoming. It is never an easy task going to any kind of appointment with 3 kids, but the staff was very helpful and patient with us. My 3 kids (age range from 3-8) all saw Dr. Tran for their yearly checkups. She was friendly, down-to-earth, and very knowledgeable. I felt that she was very thorough with each of my children, and really took her time. She answered all of our questions and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. She made the visits fun and engaging for the kids. I appreciated the fact that she explained things to the kids and not just me. It made them feel important and involved. They also learned new words and I appreciated her talking to them about eye health, screen time, etc. Even my 3 year old was able to sit happily for his entire checkup. I had some concerns regarding one of my sons and possible color blindness. Dr. Tran reassured us and took extra time to discuss our concerns and really put both my son and I at ease. I have keratoconus. I've been to several optometrists, but have never received the attention, care, and help that I have gotten from Dr. Tran and her staff. Not only has Dr. Tran helped me understand my vision issues, but she has easily explained each and every step along the way of the correction process. She is not just satisfied with an easy fix. Dr. Tran and her staff strive to not only get the best corrected results possible, but also for the most comfort when it comes to contacts and glasses. My right eye was 20/200 and my left was 20/150. Currently, I'm 20/25 in my right eye and 20/20 in my left. And she's still trying to better it. Been going here for almost 30 years. Things have really gone downhill the past few years. I stayed because it was "comfortable" even though I started to have issues from incorrect lenses to overcharging my insurance. This is the best place to get your eyes checked or if you have any questions on your eyes. The doctor was very thorough in her examination of my eyes. I haven't got my eyes checked in a few years because I don't like going to any doctors. However, the process was pain free, starting with making an appointment and waited about 15 min in the front office on a Saturday morning. The actual examination took about 30-40 minutes and she also took the time to answer all the questions I had. The bonus is that I even got a nice pair of prescription sunglasses that is polarized, which made all the difference when there's glare. The only thing I would ask is to have more choices for those people that have flat nose like me. read more

Dr. Quynh Tran was so amazing with my son! My family scheduled an appointment for all of us to have our eyes checked. I was worried that Dr. Tran wouldn't be able to check my 22 months old since he can't sit still for more than 10 seconds! Dr. Tran was very patient with him and let him play with some of her tools so that she'd be able to check his eyes. Great distraction technique! Although I was a bit nervous for some of her tools... Dr. Tran also let me take home several types of contact lenses to try out before deciding on the brand I preferred. Then her office directly shipped my supply of lenses straight to my home! I feel like Dr. Quynh Tran takes the time to talk with me and I don't feel rushed at any point even if I have a lot of questions about my vision. She also explains why she invests the time in performing certain procedures even when certain equipment in the industry are currently being relied on to replace certain tasks like dilation. Also, her staff is very friendly and makes sure that the frame I select fits nicely before I purchase it and they offer honest feedback as to whether it's a good style for me. I know that a lot of other doctor offices experience staff turnover but I get to see the same friendly faces from year to year, and from what I hear, there are longtime patients here who grew up with the doctors here. Dr. Tran really cares about your eyes! She was very informative and gave me a prescription that would improve my vision and not make it worse. When I had a stronger prescription from another dr, my eyes had to get use to the strength and that would give me a headache. I have been coming to Dr. Trans Optometry for 15 years now! Now I get to bring my entire family with me. The office is spacious with a huge selection of glasses! Since I have two daughters ages five and seven, I appreciate how they now have a section devoted just to kids. Dr. Tran is extremely resourceful and knowledgeable about kids. She and her staff are very gentle and patient with not only me, but also my entire family.
