Keep in mind it was dark outside, and i needed my glasses to be able to drive. Then i remember there was Sunglass Hut in the shoppes area at walking distance, i said what do i lose in asking if they can help. I get there and two friendly staff members named Andrea and Alexandria both asked how they could help, and i explained the situation, they said, unfortunately, we can't work on prescription glasses, and i said, Can I? as in can i borrow a screw driver to tighten up my glasses, as i do need my glasses to drive my family back home, and the girl said, sure i can help with that. She let me borrow the tiny screw driver and i was all good to go! i had no plans on purchasing anything, but she did mention they had repair kits for sale, and i said! welp! i may never need it (again.) but because you were willing to help me i purchased one. Overall the girls were pretty nice and helpful, although i have never purchased anything before, or planned to buy from there, they were extremely helpful and i was very grateful for that. and for that they get 5 stars!

I ordered a pair of glasses and was told they would be ready in two weeks. After waiting three weeks, I had to call because no one contacted me. That's when I was told my glasses had been lost in the warehouse. I was told someone would get back to me with an update. No one ever did. I called again and spoke directly with the office manager. I explained how frustrating the situation had been and asked if they could offer any type of discount or courtesy because of the inconvenience. Her response was essentially that there was nothing they could do and that I should just come in and pick up my refund. When I arrived at the office, I wasn't greeted with an apology. No one said, "We're sorry for the inconvenience," or acknowledged the frustration this caused. After more than five years as a loyal customer, that lack of basic customer service was incredibly disappointing. Mistakes happen. Losing an order can happen. But failing to communicate, failing to follow up, showing no empathy, and making no effort to make things right is unacceptable. This experience made it clear that customer loyalty means very little to this office. I have taken my business elsewhere and will never return. I cannot recommend this office based on the way I was treated.

I'd rather spend my money somewhere like CVS, where you can purchase reading lenses without needing a prescription.

In the meantime, we got to see the Oakley Meta's and the frames weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I was imagining the Oakley Meta Collab would be all face shields with chromatic iridescent lenses, but only one pair was like that and it wasn't in store. We started trying on different pairs of glasses to just to get a feel for what works and also what the latest styles were in frames. I was shocked at how many Ray Ban frames were literal throwbacks to the late 90's frames. We asked Verron what his picks were for stylish frames and he opened the vault door and lead us down to the super opulent V.I.P. show room. Well actually, he opened one of the mirrored walls, but it felt like we were having a V.I.P experience because he started opening random drawers and doors and pulling out different frames that were super stylish and that we had no idea about. We had the best time trying on frames with Verron and would DEFINITELY come back and seek him out for advice, but the store was closing so we had to end our fun hunt for the most fashionable glasses. If you're looking for something that fits you, go ask Verron to pull glasses for you and don't do it by yourself. You'll pick ugly glasses if you do.

What keeps me coming back is the level of care that the Optometrists take when completing an eye exam. The eye exams are simple as can be and not intimidating. What I like most is that the eye doctor is willing to answer any questions or concerns and even correlate your eye health to your overall health. Although I have insurance elsewhere (Kaiser Perm) that covers my eye exams and get me discounts on glasses, I choose to come here and pay out of pocket because I do not feel like a number or a sale. Moreover, at time when the Opticians may speak to you about a need or opportunity to get a new pair of glasses, they do not put any pressure. Instead, they are very convincing of the value of the lens and frames they offer and will even try to get you the most bang for your buck. I've been 100% happy with all the glasses I've purchased here and I am proud to count myself as a loyal customer here. I have even referred friends and family here and they too have been very pleased and well taken care of as a result of coming here. If you get your exam here, I would recommend the Optomap on each visit as the image becomes part of your patient record. Later on that day, I look at my email to see what's the status of the hat and she orders me a shirt instead. How incompetent can you possibly be to mess that up!? She told me you want this hat and I said yes, she's even looking at the hat. I don't understand how that mistake gets made. She looks at the hat asked me you want this hat but we don't have it in store and she said we'll order it for you. Absolutely dumbfounded how you can make this mistake. I wasted my time and now money is coming out of my account because of her idiotic mistake. Tillys, please hire people with working brain cells, cause clearly this girl doesn't have a single cell in that brain. What a disaster of a situation. Biggest waste of time. Completely unacceptable.

I am 59 yrs. old & have been wearing glasses since 4th grade & contacts since 9th grade so I have seen & had many exams with doctors over the years & there is nobody BETTER than Dr. Tran.
