Dr. Estavillo is a great dentist, very professional, and caring with her patients. She has been our family dentist for over 10 years. I really appreciate her always taking her time to answer all of our questions and walking us through any procedures we have needed throughout the years. I have had other dentists who do not dedicate the time or rush your appointment to move to the next patient. My youngest son was terrified of going to the dentist prior to working with Dr. Estavillo, he now feels comfortable and actually looks forward to getting his teeth cleaned. She always does great work and is honest when making recommendations. I am thankful that we found a great dentist in our area who is able to see all of our family members. I just finished up my first visit/check-up with Dr. Estavillo and her staff... and I can't believe how pleased I felt walking out of this place. I've only been to a handful of dentists before, but this visit was by far the best ever! The entire staff is super friendly and you can tell there's a good vibe between everyone. Dr. Estavillo explained everything thoroughly and no one ever gave off a high pressure approach with anything. Getting dental work done is obviously never fun, but having a good dentist definitely makes it a lot better. I've sorta been dodging going to the dentist for a while now until I could find someone with great reviews that other people liked, and sure enough, the reviews for this place are spot on. Our family has seen Dr. Estavillo several times over the years for dental work and regular cleanings. She is a consummate professional every single time you see her. She gives an honest, unbiased opinion. She is extremely gentle. Expect to laugh when you sit in her chair too because she's kind of funny which is a nice balance to dental care. Very clear with all her pricing and how the insurance will pay so it makes everything seem less confusing to understand your part of the bill. Her dental assistants and the front office manager, Marisol are extremely nice and personable. She is never moody. You get the same person every time you walk through the door. I actually had a dentist that I was pretty comfortable with. When it was time to get more involved dental work, I was given a quote which I felt was a bit on the higher end. I decided to get a second opinion and also see what another dentist would charge for the same work. I found Dr. Estavillo on Yelp, she had great reviews so I decided to give her a try. Not only was she able to get the same amount of work done for a lesser price, but she totally exceeded my expectations. She is very pleasant to be around and genuinely cares for her patients. She even gave me a phone call HERSELF to follow up and see how the inlays were working out for me. That tells me she cares and prides herself in her work. I have found my new dentist. Who likes to visit the dentist? Not me...but maybe my mind's been changed. Had a semi-emergency broken tooth that was quickly wedged into the office's busy schedule and I was seen in a more-than- reasonable time...was made to feel comfortable and cared about, and the dentist was efficient and friendly and I felt totally at ease and in good hands. I was recommended to Dr. Estavillo by a coworker of mine and I'm glad I went. Dr. Estavillo and her staff are all very personable, friendly and very knowledgable. She even remembers all of my friends that I work with. She apparently does a lot of work on my coworkers at Costco. lol While I'm not someone who dreads going to the dentist or having oral work done on me, I do dread going to a place that doesn't know what they're doing or do lazy work. That was my experience with the last couple of dentists I have gone to. Which is also a big reason why I hadn't gone to a dentist in years before going to Tri-Valley Dental. The last dentist I had gone to did such a horrible job doing a standard cleaning that I just gave up. As soon as I sat in Dr. Estavillo's chair, she did a meticulous cleaning where my teeth actually felt significantly better. She also pointed out quite a few cavities that I had and took care of those. That's the other thing I like about her, she practices preventative medicine instead of waiting until it gets worse and things start to get pricey and painful. I can't say enough good things about her practice. I have consistently gone every 6 months to get my teeth cleaned for the past two years and that's something that I can't say about other dental practices. read more

I have kept away from dental appointments for many years, it was always a painful experience and bad results, and just said the heck with it. But after relocating to California, I needed some work done. Both my wife and I have been going to Tri-Valley Dental for years now. My wife was suffering from tooth pain due to needing a root canal. Her previous dentist was going to schedule it out with another dentist with a 1 week waiting period. Have you ever had tooth pain and thought of waiting a week to be seen? Dr. Estavillo saw my wife just before closing on an emergency basis and even delayed her holiday to do the root canal so she would not be suffering longer than was necessary. She even followed up the next day to ensure my wife was well. This kind of service sold me and I even changed my dental insurance to change over to this dental practice. I have not looked back. I agree with other reviews that Dr. Estavillo does not pressure anyone to have service performed. She explains what is recommended but in the end it's your decision what you want to do. I've never had anything recommended that wasn't in my opinion required. The staff is extremely friendly and put you at ease if you're nervous at the thought of a dental visit. I don't often write reviews as often as I should because like most of you out there, I'm pressed for time. So, for me to post a review you can be sure I thought it worth my time. I had an emergency, my crown fell off on a Friday afternoon, I was panicking and called 1800 emergency dental , after telling them what happened I was transferred to Tri Valley Dental, I was just happy someone could help me at that moment. When I got to the clinic, the staff were all so nice and gracious. Then came the dentist, bhoy! I am glad my crown fell at that moment! I knew I found my dentist! Dr Estavillo was very pleasant, most of all she was gentle. Inspite of the fact it was closing hour, she was patient in explaining everything to me, I did not feel she was rushing- she spent the time explaining what needed to be done without the pressure of having it all done at once and it was all my decision - meaning like others who will force what they want to do so they can earn more dollars! She just simply cared! They closed at 4 but stayed till 630 because of me, for this I will be forever grateful. No one was grumpy that they were in overtime. Dr Estavillo even called to check on me and make sure everything was well. Time when I came to get my permanent crown- the work was perfect!!!! I loved it! Dr. Estravillo is GREAT! She has excellent bedside manor and is always willing to explain things until you 100% understand what is going on. I went on Saturday morning with the intention of simply getting a veneer recemented. that came off the previous night. My insururance was charged for the unneeded X-ray, yet I was told I'd have to pay for the cement becuase they didn't know if my insurance covered it.
