Their sump pump parts and plumbing sections are great. They've rekeyed my locks before. Some of the sales assistants know more than others but at least one of them always has the answer. Plus, if I just want to know where to find something and I don't ask for any opinions, they leave me alone. Perfect!!! The prices are fair and well worth it because time is money.

Oftentimes I leave frustrated because at the chain stores I'm passed off or rushed. I leave feeling like I'm a burden because they're too busy having to take care of something else. The staff at Lemoi is the opposite of that. They're super friendly and I'm always greeted by someone at the front entrance. They're consistent with having ample staff ready to help if you need something or have questions. Last month I found an LED snowman face on their webpage and called their site to see if I could pick it up in store. Within a week, they had my snowman and I left with my purchase pleased with the service and quality of my product. They seem to have a lot of items in stock too. Months ago, I went on a separate trip with my dad looking for a missing part to repair his sump pump. He had visited Lowes, Menard's and Home Depot with no luck but happened to find what he needed here at an affordable price. Lemoi Ace Hardware has been in the area since 1895. The ability to stay in business for that long says a lot about the quality and service they put out. My recent experiences are testament to that and I hope they stay in business for generations to come.

Someone helped me cut lumber at 9:30pm (waaaay after regular hours) today. Cashier Miles was able to locate my credit card acc without the physical card. Nick was very nice and helped me load lumber on a truck. He even stapled red flag to mark the outhanging lumber part, so I won't be pulled over. I will shop here again. Thank you.

A special shout out to their staff on the floor, Steven, who was very helpful and friendly.  Not only did he lead me to the area of surge protectors, he even helped me find exactly what I needed.  He was very knowledgeable. When I was trying to make a decision, he used his cell phone to go online to check on some more technical answers for me.  I told him that I would take some time and make a decision.  He assured me that he would be around for another 20 minutes should I need his help.  And it was 20 minutes to the store's closing time!  Some employees would try to avoid helping customers when it was so close to closing; so, I was truly appreciative of his service and professionalism. I ended up purchasing two surge protectors.  I will be back should I need more home improvement items in the future.

Before the snowstorm on 2/12/25, I was trying to get my snowblower working. I had filled it with gas, but it wouldn't start. So, I went to Ace to purchase a gas stabilizer as recommended in the snowblower instructions. The person who greeted me at the door asked what I was looking for, and after I explained, he asked how old the gas was. He then told me I was going about it all wrong and suggested I try TRUFUEL instead. Unfortunately, they were out of the size I needed. A snowblower tune-up at my house was going to cost $300, so I decided to visit a local auto parts store to find TRUFUEL. Sure enough, after draining the old gas and using TRUFUEL, my snowblower started right up! I was so happy! Thank you, Ace Hardware, for the great advice and excellent service!
