I used to come here all of the time because it's a short walk from my house, but since Covid, the quality of juice has gone down significantly. I would even go as far as saying that counterfeit juice is being sold at this location. I purchased a juice that made the inside of my mouth swell up, so I asked if they would switch out the juice and they did, which was nice. I wasn't offered a choice about which juice it was switched out for, but I was not going to be picky. However, the juice they gave me was just as horrible. It was extremely harsh, and tasted poisonous. The color of the juice that was given to me did not match the color of the juice on the manufacturer website. To make sure it was in fact the juice, I put my sister's juice in my tank with the same coil, and it has been fine since!!! I tried bringing this juice back to show them this, make them aware of the quality issue, and buy a new juice. I did not expect them to switch it out again, and I made that very clear, but I was yelled at by the older owner and told they would not give me another "free" juice. I am extremely offended, especially as a regular customer, and I will not be coming back! Do not buy their knock off, dangerous juice!!!! read more

I initially was a regular customer as Johnny seemed nice at first and was always willing to cut me a deal and knock off some of the prices on his pieces. They all broke really quickly and seemed really cheap but the bigger problem was that he hit on every single girl that I had brought into the shop and asked an awful lot of questions about their age....creepy...to top it all off his "deals" were just lowering the price to something still several dollars above it's actual value. read more

We've been to a few other shops in our area and were unimpressed by the lack of info. Some of these shops are owned or managed by people who don't know what they're selling. We came into Johnny Vapes(Schaumburg,IL) with the intention of buying some salt nic and possibly buying new devices. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. No attitudes or pretentiousness. Daniel(Owner) started with us answering all of our non-stop questions and handled our neediness, he was the best! He was so patient with us, walking back and forth, answering all our questions. This is truly a 5-star location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable (which is extremely important in the vaping community) and the owner runs an exceptional business. They have a great selection of both salt-based juices, pods, and vaporizers, as well as the traditional vape mods... They have good quality hardware and have always treated me fairly. Prices are very reasonable, and they often offer store-wide discounts. Whether you are an experienced vaper or a complete newbie, Been to a couple vape shops now and by far this one is the best! I went inside looking for new glass. Iwhile checking out all types. I asked for a price he would take off $20 if I paid in cash. That was a little sketchy by the third one I asked for the price he seem annoyed and said he was closing soon and if I want it, to buy it. Terrible service and everything is overpriced a box of coils for an Orion here is 20 for 2 coils when at other shops one coil is 5.The employees don't know what they're talking about and just try to upsell you whatever they can.I always have a horrible experience the few times I've been there and I won't go back again. read more

Johnny Vapes is gross. I dont understand why the owner can't wear pants. It was first time there and and he came if the back in these inappropriate short shorts. I knew something was wrong when I saw the nail polish on his fingers. I kept trying to see the new vapes but he kept touching and laughing almost to loud. We were alone and as a man I never felt so uncomfortable. When I tried to leave he pased me his card and it was just his hand written phone number. I thought it was weird when he locked the door behind me but know I realize that he just wanted a reason to jiggle his butt in front of me. All I could I think of was why is taking so long to unlock the door and also why is looking back smiling the whole time. As I finally got out of the store as I went through he brush my shoulder and arm on the way out im very sure heard a moan before the door closed.
