Johnny's Filet Medallion Trio*
Emily B.

I am somewhere between a 3 and 4. Some things were good and others were just fine. Making the reservation just days before for a group of 12 was very easy and they seemed more than happy to accommodate us, which we were really appreciative of. Food all came out accurately, and it was hot. Our server was incredibly friendly and did a great job working hard to accommodate all of us. He was very patient with splitting checks, and I know that takes extra time. After we were seated, I was surprised that we didn't have anyone come to our table for a while. I finally got up to ask someone if we could put in a drink order. I am not sure if they hadn't assigned our table yet but as soon as I checked in with someone, they sent our server over immediately. It took a very long time for the drinks to arrive. This was a group that would have spent even more on the bar bill if the drinks would have come out quicker throughout the meal. Especially because they have such a fun cocktail menu. My dinner salad had some wilted greens. Was it edible? Absolutely. It just wasn't the quality I have typically experienced here. Our meals were good. The focaccia is delicious. I had the trio medallions, and they were cooked perfectly. The person next to me had hers cooked to a different temperature and hers were also done perfectly. A friend wanted to make sure they did something to acknowledge my husband's birthday. They brought out a piece of turtle cheesecake with a candle. It was very good, but I was shocked to see the $4.00 charge. To be clear, the server had mentioned at the beginning that they offer a 50% discount for a birthday dessert, but I actually thought I misheard him. I don't think I've ever been to a place that does this. After 12 of us ordered plenty of drinks and entrees, it seemed really strange to charge $4.00 for the dessert, especially at a more upscale restaurant.

Nice ambiance and great service for any special occasions. But sorry not sorry, the food needs improvement. I enjoyed the tiramisu martini more than the meal.

I love the dim, lounge-like atmosphere of the place. Our server was friendly and helped us modify the entrees to our delight. The calamari was good, despite some pieces being a bit chewy. We enjoyed the zucchini fries even though they were a bit soggy. They simply needed to be crunchier. All at the table were satisfied with their dishes. A few criticisms: my filet Oscar was a bit overdone (med-well not medium.) I was not a fan of the crab cake atop the steak. It was way too bready and the crabmeat was in little crumbles. A filet Oscar should have big chunks of crab or lobster meat. I also felt the Steak DeBurgo was over seasoned with garlic, but my son enjoyed it. The Chanel No.5 pasta dish was well balanced and full of flavor. Definitely a repeat order. Our desserts were also a big hit. The crème brûlée had a full sweet creamy flavor with that crunchy sugar shell. The Warm Chocolate Cake was a crowd pleaser. Rich chocolate with warm molten center is well complemented with the cinnamon ice cream. Yum!

This experience was 6 stars. Service was impeccable. Every staff member on point. Server anticipated my needs. I had the cedar plank salmon with honey glaze grilled to perfection with grilled asparagus - perfectly grilled and flavorful. I decided to get a side of Brussels halfway in and they were okay. There was a sauce I didn't care for. The focaccia bread was so yummy I devoured it. This would make for a great date night spot too!

Limoncello Cake

Recommendation from someone that often visits this Italian restaurant. We were able to get in without reservations. Service was 5 stars. Food was a solid 4.5 stars. The bread was amazing. Tip: request side of balsamic to add to olive oil/Parmigiano cheese. For entrees we got Salmon, Risotto and Chanel 45. All very good. Arugula in Risotto was more of a garnish than adding to dish. Only complaint was Arugula and Brussels Sprouts came out late. Cocktails and Desserts were super good. Would definitely come back to this establishment if in town.

I really only go here for drinks and appetizers and for that it's fine. Look it's a chain, you know what you're getting... and for a chain it above average. Service is usually decent... and I recall happy hours specials from time to time. The limoncello cake is is a worthy indulgence.

Lemon cake

Our server Paige was amazing first of all. The food was excellent, a classic steak dinner. A perfect option for a date night. The atmosphere is giving very much "steak house" and everything was very clean and orderly. Only downside was the zucchini fries, they were mushy and borderline inedible.

A terrific place to have dinner on a Sunday night. Great menu of salads, steaks and pastas. And the molten lava cake is great.

The mushroom pasta dish (tagliatelle) was definitely the stand out of our meal. While the budino was delicious, I didn't get the butterscotch flavors as it was noted in the menu. It almost tasted more like pumpkin and cinnamon. Warm fresh bread and the traditional cesear salad were delicious. I really liked my white sangria but my husband didn't care for his barrel aged Negroni. Love the tiles behind the bar and the history of this classic place.

My boyfriend's family and I came for a Sunday dinner and despite being a larger group, we were able to snag a table immediately. Don't let that fool you though - this place is popular and we seem to have gotten one of the last tables available. When it came to food and drinks, I got a white wine sangria, which I really liked, but it only came with an orange wedge on the side of the rim. I was disappointed because I was expecting fruit in the sangria. It wasn't a big deal, and was an okay drink. When it came to food, Lombardinos had a couple specials, one of which was a wood grilled broccoli and cauliflower appetizer, and their blueberry salad. We also got the calamari and olives. Overall, I really enjoyed all of the appetizers. We then all got our own entrées - unfortunately they were out of the veal entrée for some of our family members. I ended up getting the scallops which I thought were overcooked, and I didn't like the couscous that came with. It was too acidic and the roasted tomatoes that came with the couscous didn't help with the acidity levels. However, my boyfriend did share some of his crab and clam linguine. I really liked that dish, but they were out of clams as well, so it really was only a crab pasta. I hope they are able to offer their full menu in the future, because I think I would come back, but only if they had some of those dishes available.

Food: A nice selection of pizza, split between ones with and without tomato sauce. I got the Lombarda which has Gorgonzola Cream, Pears and Apricot Glaze and Arugula. My wife got a cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion (CSMO). Both of them came out, pipe hot, with nice crisp crust. Nice presentation for both pizzas. They were both good, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the Lombarda. If it had Apricot Glaze, it wasn't very noticable, and maybe was the reason that it needed a bit of salt to enhance the toppings. The CSMO was very flavorful, and clearly the better of the two. Service: Super friendly and helpful service, both when ordering and when the food was delivered.
