I'm a truck driver. I like to park my truck and ride my bicycle to local nearby food places (nothing big chain). Sometimes, the ride is not worth the work of getting there. The staff only gets 2 stars. I approach the counter and the employee behind the register only stares at me. I have to initiate the conversation. Zero people person skills. After placing my order and paying for it (which was not overly priced), I was then told by this employee that they are out of the beer that I had chosen. Once again, the employee just stares at me. Not sure what for. Then it was silent for about 10 seconds till the shift manager offers a fountain drink instead. The cleanliness of the restaurant was ok, but the lighting inside was really dim. In fact, the parking lot lights were brighter. So I had to sit by the window to see my food. So the building design gets 3 stars. It only took about 10 minutes for my pizza to arrive at my table. 5 stars for that. The crust wasn't over or under cooked. There was only about a half inch of border crust. There wasn't an excessive amount of toppings (a lot of times they pile on the toppings to cover up the crappy crust or sauce). Plenty of cheese. Kinda dry though. I would have liked to see more sauce. The pizza wasn't cut into the traditional triangle pieces. They were more rectangle shape. 4 stars for the pizza. Overall, this was not a bad trip to make. The business needs to work on the customer experience aspect. I would recommend this place over a large chain pizza restaurant. 3.5 stars total. read more

Came to this place from out of town. Less than 4 hours later my husband and I both got food poisoning. Extreme stomach pain, throwing up, and dizziness. Will never visit this place and I hope they get shut down. I will be looking into other options for reporting the food poisoning. read more

Johnny's Pizza may be good other places, but not in Minden Louisiana. From the servers using their bare hands to put the salad fixings into the salad car to the food tasting bad I don't know which grosses me out more and it sure was a waste of 28 bucks that's for sure. Was staying at a hotel for work and the front desk person recommended them. Definitely won't be ordering again. The wings were pitiful and burnt. The pizza was lacking toppings I ordered and over cooked. Plus it took and hour and a half to get it delivered from 3 miles away. read more

So I am a long time Johnnys fan. I love their pizza. I know food prices are astronomical these days but the cut back on toppings on the last 60 days is noticeable. Please don't destroy a great pizza - if you need to go up on the price a couple of bucks in order to keep the quality - please do it. read more

Johnny's Pizza is the most expensive pizza in Minden, La by far. Good pizza the majority of the time and service. Do us all a favor please!! The best part of pizza is left-overs. I have not visited Johnny's, but my friend brought some from Johnny's (he is from Minden). The pizza, albeit cold, was outstanding! Why are the reviews so bad?? Oh well, to each his/her own...but as for me, I truly loved this place. The staff are nice and the wait is not too long, it's average but worth it because the pizza is always extremely delectable. That's what I call pizza. I love the pepperoni and sausage but don't mind the Sweep the Kitchen...both are very tasty!! I did not realize they had Johnny's restaurants outside of Minden, such as in Shreveport and in West Monroe. But maybe I will see how those compare!! read more

Having lived in West Monroe for 10 years; I became addicted to Johnnie's Pizza. Moved back to my home in Southwest Louisiana where there are no Johnnie's and look forward to Johnnie's Pizza anytime I venture into North or Central Louisiana. The Minden Johnnie's really let me down. 1. Too little salt on the pizza. The manager of Johnnnie's Minden needs to go to Johnnie's Winnsboro and learn how to salt a pizza. 2. Under-cooked. No, really its waaaaay undercooked with nearly-raw dough in the center of the pizza. The staff was a joy to be around with all being jovial, yet professional and quick. Although I guess that it really does take less time to cook an under-cooked pizza. Guys, you can do better. Salt & fully cook and you are there. Again, Great Staff. P.S. This is the worst Johnnies Pizza I have ever been to. Pizza is Waaay undercooked and almost no salt. YUK. Other Johnnie's locations have incredible pizza and I go out of my way to visit them when traveling. Winnsboro, Ruston, Monroe, West Monroe and Alexandria all have Johnnies that are fantastic.
