Not only have they done some great body work, but I also asked them to fix my heater core since it involved removing the fender, and last week I had them install a stainless steel exhaust kit I bought. I would not recommend this business. They play the blame game when there is a problem so they can get out of fixing the issue. They re-assembled the bumper and the gaps were uneven. They said they did not work on that side so it must've been from a previous accident. They damaged the paint on the mirror of the car and claimed it was already like that. read more

On April 07, 2015 my truck was parked in Ellisville MO and received major hail damage. When I called our Insurance company, I was referred to Johns Auto Body & Paint. I took my 2014 Ram 2500 to get an estimate and they told me it could be fixed. If anybody knows me, they know how particular I am with my automobiles. I dropped my truck off on May 18, 2015 for repairs and got my truck back on May 26, 2015 as promised. I brought the truck home and scrutinized it for over an hour, looking over every inch, and WOW!!! The job that was done was INCREDIBLE!! The truck looks just like it did when it rolled off the assembly line. PERFECT!! I would like to thank, John, Jeff and the whole team for putting my truck back together. My wife and I could not be happier. Thank you again to everyone at Johns Auto Body & Paint. I have been a customer of John's for seven years. This is the fifth car he has worked on for me, but the first disappointment. He did a partial repaint of my hood that did not turn out right. His shop took care of the hood while another part of the car was repainted. However, the hood came out worse than before. It was buffed as opposed to being repainted, resulting in very visible swirls in the paint. In addition, there was some sort of dirty film on the car, which has been difficult to remove. One of his employees offered to buff out the swirls, but I was afraid that they might go through the clear coat so I decided to take my car elsewhere to have the paint perfected at my own cost. Meanwhile, I am still trying to get the film off the car. They are skilled on body work and paint, but not detailed oriented. The owner did not respond to my e-mails. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I wouldn't recommend Johns Auto Body because the work is just awful. Not only will they do a poor job fix the problem but break rip or destroy other things in the process. I took my modified Nissan 350Z there to have the front bumper replaced and some other damage repaired. I stopped in to ask if they felt confident to do the work since they are know for classic cars. They told me they could take care of me no problem. This job was bid out by insurance as taking 7 days at most for the work however they had my car almost a month. They didn't order my custom bumper until they had my car for quite awhile which was one of the reasons it took so long. When I finally got me car back after several calls (I only have a rental for a month through insurance) I looked over the car and it looked nice. After closer inspection I noticed it was horrible. The bumper had not been fit properly, the new headlights they installed had moisture in them (both of them) which I believe was from incorrect installation, they ran a screw through the rocker panel int he door jam (which is rusting) because the cooked them wrong after repainting them, they ripped a large hole in my drivers seat and then denied it, and I believe (but cannot prove) they damages the paint on the rear quarter driver side of my car. The paint on the drivers side rear quarter started to crack and peel within a week of getting my car back. They said they didn't work on that quarter and it wasn't them, however it looks an awful lot like chemical damage. The rip in the drivers seat looks like someone had tools in their back pocket and it just ripped and large gash in the seat. When I told them they said they didn't do it and had pictures that it was there when I dropped the car off. When I asked to see the pictures they "couldn't seem to find that picture" but they insisted they didn't do it. I was planning to take them to court but they were still repairing things on the car. Not to mention after they received payment that lifetime warranty seem to go out the window. I have to have my headlights replaced by the dealer they bought the parts from because johns told me its not their problem talk to the dealer. Please don't ever go to this body shop they do more harm to your car then good. If it will let me upload pics I will so you can see for yourself. read more

Had an absolute fabulous experience with Johns Auto Body in Imperial! Our new Nissan Pathfinder was damaged by the dealership when it was in for a minor repair. We were referred to John's by a friend who does dent repair so he works in the auto repair business and knows every company around. He said they were the best. We experienced outstanding customer service---unlike any business we have ever dealt with for anything. They told us it would be a 5 day job and got it done in 4. They coordinated the pick up and return of a rental car through Enterprise for us to use while our Pathfinder was "in the shop". When we had issue with the rental Enterprise originally gave us, John's followed up to make sure the issue was corrected and that we were being taken care of. They detailed our vehicle before returning it to us and the repairs are flawless. Although we hope to never have auto body damage in the future, we would welcome the opportunity to work with them again. read more
