Sooooo…read more.. first of all they quoted me new tires... it wasn't the highest priced tires they have but I was told they would work. The best part...I couldn't make it in to get a quote and Jack gave me one via text. I really like Derion, Avery and Jerome. These guys are funny and knowledgeable. They man the desk at times but at least two of them seemed very capable to work out in the shop. I worked while they put new tires on my vehicle and fixed the alignment. The top of the coffee table rises so it was easy to sit and get some work done. The couch was comfy, there is a TV and music playing. There is also a coffee maker and popcorn popper. I didn't partake in either...too early. The only issue which is not their fault... is the parking. It's really hard to find a spot. Luckily they are fast and efficient. So as I sit here a family came in to have something fixed on their truck. They were just passing through. These guys jumped to action. They don't want them waiting long. I can only imagine the fear of stopping somewhere you don't know with a car issue. They don't know it but they are lucky they stopped here. I was just told that I need an oil change. The light wasn't on but I actually knew it would need an oil change soon so I can appreciate the fact that they asked if they could do it. I'll be back!

In a word, you can trust him. On a road trip from Texas to Wisconsin, my 2002 Suburban broke down on the interstate not far from Don's shop. County Brake towed my vehicle and resolved multiple issues stemming from a wire short (probably the result of a previous repair not quite done correctly). Don put his top mechanic on it and methodically worked through each system impacted by the short. The impacts were extensive, time consuming, and costly, but each system was tested, each solution verified with me before repair, and only performed because it was necessary to get me back on the road. I was really in a position where Don could have taken advantage of my vulnerability of being stranded, but what I experienced instead was quality work, care for my well being, flexibility, superb communication, and extra diligence to make my vehicle reliable. He even gave me a significant discount to help offset the circumstances I was in. I am grateful to have found this shop and it hit all the high notes of what I look for in a repair shop. I learned through experience County Brake is a shop run by people you can trust. They got me back on the road and safely to my destination.

Left out bolts altogether in some places (including the inspection cover which was obvious to see), rounded the heads on others. There are other choices for transmission work at an affordable cost... try one of them.
