I've needed an air suspension sensor for my truck and it got held up due to the UAW strike but he's always kept me in the loop as to when I can expect it. I was not nimble enough to get up under the dashboard. Mechanic is busy with a customer, but I asked how he could help me. I had my users manual open to the correct page, and told him I needed a fuse replaced. He asked me to give him 5 minutes. He politely asked the customer with whom he was working, if they would mind him taking 5 minutes out. He looked at the diagram and replaced the fuse. "You're all set", he told me. I thanked the other customer, and gave the mechanic a tip for his time, and consideration. Simple appreciated fix!

I was able to order my tire online, and request a appointment on a Sunday afternoon. Within minutes of requesting a appointment, I had it scheduled for the next day. I also included a oil change service as well. I went in, gave them the info about my tire, and left. A few hours later they called me letting me know my car was ready. When I arrived I noticed that my slashed tire was still on the car. I went in and explained the issue, and they immediately took action. A simple mistake of doing the wrong tire. That's life, it happens. Within 20 minutes I was on my way. I would return to them again because they put the customer first, and acknowledged their mistake.

NOT SO FAST OLD MAN! The good folks at Sullivan told me the tire couldn't be repaired because the screw was too close to the sidewall. What they didn't know is that I knew exactly where the screw was. It was well within the tread. But they REALLY wanted to help with my problem, and offered to sell me one tire, for nearly $400. Installed I assume, or maybe not. So, I took my leak elsewhere. Got it repaired for $40 and made a friend. The man has been in the tire business for decades, and just shook his head when I told him the story. Here's the thing: I never begrudge a man a day's pay, but do not try to take advantage of me. I'm too old and I worked too f***ing hard for my pension to get porked because the rubber merchants had a slow day. Sullivan Tire will reply, bleating their side of the story. And that's fine. I know the truth. Now you do too.
