I explained that of course would pay for the inspection myself. I was told that this was NOT permitted. This is a big red flag as any dealership selling pre-owned cars should have no issue with a customer getting a pre-purchase inspection done. In fact, most dealerships I've spoken with recently welcome and encourage it. Not East Penn Auto though.

Well, I got a text from Lynn that the car was unavailable. Upon calling her from the number she texted me from, she acted shocked. told me they sold the car and just said I apologize for the miscommunication, but that's why you were given the paper to get insurance. NEVER mentioned I had 24 hours! And don't post on their Facebook page, they delete what they don't like.
