A full year ago, we 'kept it local' and bought a Bosch dishwasher and paid for the install. They sent out two kids (clearly not licensed plumbers which is requirement for any appliance install involving water and electricity). Three weeks later we noticed the floors buckled in the kitchen. They didn't even bother to get the hose fitting tight! I called and they sent out some company that put a fan with some painters tape around the area and left! Short story: They refused to report the issue to their insurance. Blew me off for DAYS! I'd call back into the office and ask for a manager and never was able to speak with one. Poor sap management makes deal with these situations said, "I've talked with 'them' and they aren't going to report it to our insurance.'" Talk to enough people and they have gone through the same ordeal with Johnson Brothers. That's why they wouldn't report it to their insurance. We had no choice but to file a claim with our insurance and the same day had Sierra James out here. Kitchen and laundry room DESTROYED! We had to move out of our house for 8 months. Took two weeks to find a furnished house for rent. Complete nightmare putting our house back together. Try dealing with insurance these days.....even when it's not your fault. That alone took years off my life. Took a couple months to get them to refund the dishwasher and had to FIGHT to get the install charge refunded. "The installation is not refundable." Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. Not a single apology throughout. Not until I asked for an apology did I get the 'I already did, you just aren't listening'. Worst company and people I've ever dealt with......and that's saying a lot these days. One year later, we are finally done with all this crap. Our insurance subjugated the claim against JBs insurance and won. Our deductible is finally coming back to us. Do yourself a favor and go to Lowe's. The founder died. His son took over and died. Now, the grandkids took over and have nothing but a fancy website with empty slogans and values and promises of commitment and integrity. It's total bullshit. read more

My wife and I purchased a Speed Queen 27" Stacked Washer/Dryer in matte black from Johnson Brothers Appliances on November 5, 2025. It was scheduled for delivery to our home in La Pine on November 12, 2025. The Account Manager, Stephen Mount, met us shortly after our arrival. He was pleasant and cordial when showing us the various examples of the Speed Queen washers and dryers. He carefully explained the similarities and differences which we examined and considered. We settled on the stackable model because of our limited laundry room space. The stackable gave us additional useful space. The delivery, hookup, and demonstration took place by their delivery personnel Kyle and Axel. Both individuals were obviously experienced and very careful in both old appliance removal new appliance installation. The 4" exhaust tube was readily cut to an appropriate length and hooked up by two clamps. The 4-prong 240V electrical cord was only 6 feet long and barely reached the outlet at the bottom of the wall. However, Kyle was able to reverse the outlet plugin to make it fit. A slight recommendation on my part would be to carry both a 6-foot and 8-foot 240V cord to accommodate these instances. I'm highly impressed with both the knowledge and professionalism of their store staff and technical staff. They make purchases very easy and painless. I highly recommend Johnson Brothers for any household appliances you may need. They have a plethora of types, styles, and sizes to fit the need of every homeowner. read more

I tried to purchase a nice kitchen appliance set from here last year and gave up and went to another competitor in town and got great service. So when I needed to purchase a new washer/dryer, I thought i would give them another shot. That didn't last long. got greeted right away, shown where the sets were. I asked about pedestals and the lady didn't know for sure so I asked her to check. She said no problem and walked away. we wandered for a bit, even looked at some stackables that were stashed in someone's office. he never looked up and continued to play on his phone. We finally walked back to the front to find her camped out on the phone speaking to someone else. We shrugged and went right over to Ferguson's where we got our usual great treatment. I recently purchased a range from Johnson Brothers Appliances. Daniel, the Director of Sales, assured me that he would assist me with any issues. However, when I called the next morning after the delivery, he was unhelpful and unpleasant! Initially, I was excited to use my new range! However, that evening, I noticed that the outside became extremely hot while baking a pizza. I called the next morning, and Eric answered the phone. He was rude and dismissed my concerns, stating that ranges are going to get hot. He transferred my call to Daniel, who argued with me, insisting that he didn't want to "play ring around the Rosie with me and ranges!" During another conversation, Daniel made it clear that this wasn't a "blouse I bought at Walmart that I wanted to return!" These responses were unacceptable! Consequently, I decided not to exchange the range and will not purchase from this unpleasant and unprofessional company again. I am disappointed with the poor customer service provided by this local appliance store. After enduring several unpleasant phone calls and writing a letter to them (which included a statement from their own service representative who inspected the range and identified a "poor design issue"), I finally received a refund. While they may be satisfactory when you make a purchase, they offer terrible customer service if you encounter any problems, even if you contact them within the 48-hour window after delivery. We've been customers here for a few years. Normally our experiences have been good. However, I spoke to Eric today about an order for a Miele dishwasher and he was flat out rude. He talked over me repeatedly and didn't acknowledge my issue, which was regarding obtaining a rebate. The manufacturer was ending the rebate at the end of March and required filing for the rebate with a serial number, which we won't have until installation in early June. "That's between you and the manufacturer" is what he said. Basically "tough." Normally we like to shop locally and as stated have appreciated Johnson Brothers. Not this time. read more

My freezer unexpectedly died. We decided to replace it rather than have it repaired since it was full of frozen food that was still frozen. Mark at Johnson Brothers was wonderful. He had the new freezer, a Frigidaire, delivered the very next day so that we wouldn't suffer a food loss. Several days later I wanted ice cubes and found that the freezer had heated up to 66 degrees! All of the food had spoiled. A process then started in order to ascertain the problem and replace the freezer. Mark and Johnson Brothers were again great. A technician arrived the next day and said the freezer couldn't be fixed. Frigidaire in comparison, gave me a day they would sent a technician, who never came, evidently the repair company had closed...wait for it...8 months previously. They wouldn't replace the freezer until a technician they sent said it couldn't be repaired. Frigidaire wanted to fix the freezer rather than replace it. Another day. When the technician came he said the freezer couldn't be fixed. Mark was even able cover the food loss. The entire time Mark was very supportive. I feel the value of a company is truly felt when there is a problem and am very grateful for the service I received. read more

It is so important for me to shop direct at a local store, and if possible I will do so. Johnson Brothers is a good example of that. Even though I have only purchased supplies and not appliances, my plan is to do a large kitchen remodel in the next couple years. After purchasing a small product for my stainless steel appliances, I was blown away that these folks charged me for a Corporate tax that Oregon is charging their business and not the customers. In Oregon, we are trying very hard to keep the politicians from tagging us with a sales tax. So what does Johnson Brothers do is take a tax that they owe the state for doing business and pass it off to their customers as if it is a tax to them. Seriously! This is a cost of doing business not a sales tax to customers. The product I bought was way over the normal cost to me if I would of bought it online, but I wanted to support local. With these guys willing to pass off their corporate tax to me AND upcharge their products I will give them a no and the remodeling contractor that might of wanted to use them. As a recent widow, I was grateful for the friendly and highly knowledgeable salesperson, Eric, who helped me. Unsure of which microwave to purchase, I left to think about it. Came in to get a hot dog before heading back to our town and the greaters at the front looked at us like we were trash! They informed us that we had to have our cards to get to the food court now. I could not believe the ladies at the front could be as snotty as they were and think it was ok to treat any customer as they did. The naughty looks at how we looked did not go unnoticed! I had just go done cleaning my grandmothers house and I was wore out and just wanted my favorite hotdog. We will not be renewing our card and will be letting our relatives know that the new Bend Costco is now for those who look the part of upper Bend. They were either judging us on our appearance, or the fact that my sister dresses in mens clothes and they could tell immediately that she was gay and were offended by her appearance. They could have just said nicely that yes you now have to have a card to get to the food court and we would have been understanding. But snapping your fingers at a costumer and being snotty and rude is NEVER the answer for customer serving! read more

Over six months ago, my wife ordered a new GE refrigerator and freezer ($20,000.00). Today, six months later, the freezer has finally been installed without a front door panel. We look at a red rope as the handle!! The refrigerator is still in our garage waiting for some kind of mechanism required for it to operate!! Mark Johnson promised we'd have both installed well before Christmas of 2023!! We're still waiting and now they are asking my wife to order the parts directly from GE!!!???? This place is a sham and please allow me to save you a ton of money and headache. Just a note that if you are looking for a new appliance, I would avoid using Johnson Brothers, a local company. I always try and buy local, but I have had the worst experience with my refrigerator. I purchased in August 2022 and had issues from June 2023 through now. They starting repairing my fridge while under warranty and now that it is out of warranty, I have to pay for the parts and service (4 scheduled calls/visits). Remember - this is a brand new refrigerator. I am now being told that a "screeching sound" is normal and nothing they can do (this is the same sound that wasn't normal during the first repair visit and subsequent new part). All of these issues (and replacement parts) stem from the initial service call (or so I was told by the most recent mechanic). Most recently the refrigerator died (I had to have a new motherboard put in). I had to wait 5 days for that service call/ part because they don't have spare parts and don't work on weekends). I lost over $500 worth of food. I have spent countless hours on the phone with both Whirlpool and Johnson Brothers (and had to have conference calls because they wouldn't work together) and since it's now out of warranty, nothing anyone can do, other than to grin and bear it and pay out of pocket to keep fixing. Whirlpool wasn't involved up front so they are wiping their hands (fyi, apparently you aren't supposed to ever call the authorized dealer but the manufacturer while it's under warranty) and didn't have any records of the major issues I was having. I wanted to have a new refrigerator, since all the problems started while under warranty and are still continuing, and while Johnson Brothers did offer to buy back (literally pennies on the dollar), this is a complete shame. Shame on them and shame on Whirlpool. If you have problems with an appliance while still under warranty, if the problems keep persisting outside of the warranty (and because it can take a month to service each issue) - I guess your screwed. read more

For a recent kitchen remodel I purchased a number of appliances from Johnson Brothers. After less than a year the induction cooktop began failing and neither Johnson Brothers nor the manufacturer's repair service were able to repair the unit. After filing a complaint with the BBB the manufacturer finally replaced the cooktop with a new unit. Since many other owners of the cooktop had reported similar failures I chose to upgrade to another more expensive but more reliable brand cooktop. Johnson Brothers would be happy to sell me the more expensive cooktop but they refused to accept the the new, unopened cooktop for credit towards a better quality cooktop. It would have cost them virtually nothing to put the replacement cooktop in their inventory and they would then have the increased profit on the more expensive cooktop that I wanted to purchase along with the profit from eventually selling the cooktop that the manufacturer provided. Johnson Brothers were happy to make sales but their refusal to support their customer was very disappointing. I purchased another cooktop from one of their competitors and will not do business with Johnson Brothers again. read more

We want to Johnson Brothers Appliance to educate ourselves on what is new in the market. Our sales person spent a lot of time explaining the different options. We told him we were building a new home, he asked who the builder was not realizing he was using us to try to rebuild there relationship with our builder since Johnson Brothers wasn't doing a good job for our builder they lost the business unknown to us at the time. Johnson Brothers was supposed to send us an email with pricing instead they sent it to our builder. My builder sent me an email slapping my hand saying they are not one of our preferred subcontractor and they no longer do business with JohnsonBrothers due to the fact they just don't do a good job for our builder. Shame on Johnson Brothers using me like that. We never did receive any emails with pricing from Johnson Brothers only my builder did we never told them to send the quote to the builder the agreement was to send it to me. They have attempted to repair our refrigerator-freezer 6 times now and have failed. This failure has also caused our ice machine to stop working. It is less than 2 years old. The issue started in less than 6 months into its installation date. We also have reached out to the owner Dave Johnson twice now. He has chosen not to make a connection with us so we can have a conversation with him about the issues it has caused us. Again, they do not stand behind the product they sold us. read more

I ordered a dishwasher May 2021. I was told 6 months and it would be in and delivered. Six months passed, no dishwasher, a year passes and no dishwasher. Then we were told it would come in in November- they gave that dishwasher away to another customer- still no dishwasher ( but they are happy to have our money ). We have consistently experienced outstanding customer service from Johnson Brothers Appliance. I would not ever go anywhere else to buy an appliance. We have upgraded our refrigerator, dishwasher and range hood, and today upgraded our washing machine. Previously we had gone to Standard, and the only aspect of customer service that was adequate was the sale, with substandard customer service thereafter. A huge shout out to Johnson Brothers Appliances! After a year and a half our GE gas range bulged out on the left side which caused the door to push right and destroyed the seal. Mark Johnson stepped in and contacted the GE rep to help us. Just found out GE will replace the range at no cost....even install! The replacement will be here next week. We purchased thousands of dollars of kitchen appliances for four newly built rental homes through Johnson Brothers. One range was damaged upon opening, and Johnson Brothers refused to provide credit due to the length of time from delivery to installation. Building is unpredictable and these appliances were ordered well in advance of home completion due to shortages. Johnson Brothers saved a few hundred dollars by not covering the range, however, they lost all of our future investment property and personal home business. read more

He knows more about appliances that anyone I have ever talked to. When we told him that we had done some research and had chosen some appliances we like, he expressed agreement with some of our decisions and explained the reasons we might reconsider some of our other decisions. We felt really good about our choices after meeting with Darren. After speaking with someone at Lowe's about appliance, I am so glad that we chose Johnson Brothers. I purchased an upright freezer in the store on Friday, 05/29/20. It was delivered right on schedule the following Monday. Proper social distances were marked out in the lobby without it feeling cramped and some - though not all - employees were wearing masks. I was also masked. The unit I purchased was still boxed in the warehouse, but, the salesperson, Daniel, scrolled the web page up and down repeatedly on his monitor so I could pore over the specs and features from a distance. The in-store experience was pleasant and lasted all of 10 minutes - I was very appreciative that my time wasn't wasted with upsells, extended warranties, maintenance plans, etc. While I'm counting this as an overall positive experience, a couple things prevent me from leaving a 5-star review. First, none of the salespeople were wearing masks and, second, the salesperson was unable to find an answer the most important question about the unit: "What is the lowest temperature it will go down to?" read more

We purchased 3 major kitchen appliances from this "Business"? three years ago. The Jen Air gas stove we purchased developed an immediate internal gas leak(Factory issue). When we called Johnson Brothers for warranty information, it was as if we were attacking them personally. It took two weeks to get THEIR person to get to our house to determine IF it was a warranty situation. It was. Today.....5/4/2021 3:00-3:22pm. I stopped in to purchase a matching Refrigerator. Simply wanted to ask how much and when could it be delivered? THREE salespeople ignored me, kind of like the retail Salespeople who never make eye contact and hurriedly rush past you. Each employee I have been in contact with has been professional, pleasant and helpful. My husband and I were looking for appliances for our kitchen and laundry as we were doing a major remodel of our home. The kitchen is one of the most important spaces to us. We wanted form AND function. They had so many wonderful options to choose from and we were able to purchase some fabulous appliances from LG's NEW Signature Kitchen Suite" line through them. They worked with us every step of the way. There were some delivery issues with our microwave drawer due to COVID-19 but they kept us informed and even offered to loan us a microwave until ours arrived! We were also pleased with the options LG provided for our laundry area. We had limited space as we wanted to add space for a mud room. We The installation team for our appliances was nothing short of phenomenal. They sent out an installation technician days ahead of time to look over our kitchen and where each appliance was to go to ensure that everything would be ready and go smoothly. It was so helpful as there were some cosmetic concerns with regard to placement of the refrigerator and freeze columns that we would never have even thought of had they not done their homework. The day of installation went off without a hitch. There were several installers here at the same time and each was working in as "zone" so that everything would be done as efficiently as possible and in the same day. There have been a couple of minor issues since the installation and Johnson Brothers has been very prompt in responding. Each of the employees I have come in contact with praises the company and loves working for Johnson Brothers. That really says something to me about the company. If the employees are treated well and with respect, that transcends to the customer experience. How refreshing! Long and short of it, you cannot go wrong purchasing your appliances and doing business with Johnson Brothers! read more

I bought a front load washer, not cheap. Salesman Mark was great, recommend this model. It is a GE! Delivered next day, bought pedestal for it. Brought in by delivery team. Not tested for loads. Once load was in, the washer shook like crazy. Called Johnson, said they would get delivery team out there, thinking pedestal was not adjusted right. Coins not get it adjusted right, said they were just delivery drivers nothing else they could do. Take in mind I and my husband had to personally go back to store to get some help, two days after purchase. After delivery team left, I literally got the run around telling me this was normal for front loader to shake. Nope gotta call GE warranty center, already, really. I was on phone for an hour on hold thru GE. Called back the store for manager because salesman didn't call me back. Finally got manager and he said he would look into it, and promised me that day he would call back. Yep, no call back. I begged the tech guy at the store for someone to look at, he said sorry booked out, have to wait until 4/10. So in the mean time two days after a purchase, I have to wait a month for techs to look at. I am not out of my mind! I have had two front loads before never this problem. I took the video.
