When I brought it up to the salesman, he just said that they have to make money somewhere. They also took the key to my car and didn't return them until I said the trade it was ridiculous. I then had to ask to get my keys back. I think this is some sort of a scare tactic to push people to buy (note that they didn't even go to my car, so no clue why the keys were even needed). On top of that, I continued getting promo emails even after I told them I didn't want to be in communication with them. When I want to buy a Toyota, I will definitely go elsewhere.

The lug nut key is PART of the vehicle in the sale. Not including this is ridiculous and then expecting me to go figure it out on my own is just poor customer service. Failure to take accountability really shows what "Johnson" means in their name. The reviews don't lie. This place blows Johnsons. Fast forward to us calling another Ford dealership to order the part, they ask about a diagnostic being performed so warranty will cover AS IT IS UNDER WARRANTY, only to find out a diagnostic was never performed, costing us $800+ to fix out of pocket. Instead of using our warranty where it would have costed $100 as that's our deductible. After meeting with the service manager for 2+ hours yesterday and him avoiding us, he was absolutely zero help at all as well. After this, Jamie also has left threatening messages on my husband's phone, and attacking his appearance. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Shelly was very patient (I'm not the easiest person to satisfy) and I tend to sometimes be a little hard on my reviews but I can honestly say that I have absolutely NO complaints when it comes to Smart Auto and their staff. My car was financed and I drove out of the lot in approximately 2 hours of arriving but I test drove 2 different vehicles and wasn't sure what I wanted when I first showed up. The man that done my paperwork and finalized everything(I apologize, I don't remember his name) was great as well. Tyler is also an awesome salesperson to talk to. My son and my sister have both bought vehicles through Smart Auto but Tyler was their seller, he was busy when I first went but I have to say....Shelly done a great job, no disappointments whatsoever!!!! Keep up the great work Smart Auto!!! You are all awesome in my book! I haven't dealt with the service department yet but will be very soon for normal maintenance. It was the first dealer we ever bought from and were very inexperienced, and senior citizens. ( We always had purchased cars from individuals previously.) So now we're looking for a different car but the value of the one we bought is alot lower than what we paid for it. (We think the price was too high too.)

They called me back after a couple of hours and said that the tires were the problem and that they could feel it just driving in the shop. After that, I went out and bought new tires for the truck and it still did the same exact thing. After hours of scouting the interwebs, I saw a guy mention the wheel hub centric rings. These are fairly cheap so I ordered some. They were the problem and the techs should have been able to tell me that after paying for the inspection. I don't even think they drove the truck on the highway. Very disappointing.

The lawsuit alleges that Honda sold vehicles prone to engine overheating, misfires, and premature wear due to a coolant leakage defect. My grandson, who was with us at the time, has Autism and has to ride in this vehicle. Since my daughter drove the car off the lot a couple of weeks ago, she has had nothing but trouble. Of course, Wallace says there is nothing they can do. :( They should take the car back and give us a refund!!! That is what they should do!!! Coolant leaks into engine components, causing overheating, loss of power, and contamination of engine oil. She has experienced all of the above, including continuous jerking. She visited Honda's dealership in Kingsport and was told there wasn't anything wrong. We will go again on Thursday and see what they say. Stay away from Wallace Imports of Johnson City. She is driving a rental car because she is so scared to drive her own. We are out around 18,000 dollars that we did not have! :(

My daughter took her Subaru Impreza Outback in for a check due to a noise. They diagnosed rear…read morewheel bearing replacements and did the work, job took more time than planned and the shuttle arrived 2 hours late to pick her up. Two minutes into the drive home and the rear caliper on one side was not bolted in place. She drove it home slowly and called them the next morning. They did pick it up the next morning and shuttle her later that day. They said it was a fluke but I wonder. She lost an extra day of work. They also did not listen to the other directions she had given initially so we will be taking it to a local shop to get the other things handled.
