I have never been more disgusted with a dealership experience than I have been with Johnson Dodge. I brought my 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer in for a suspension issue and what followed was months of frustration, excuses, and wasted time. My vehicle spent over three months at the dealership, and despite multiple repair attempts, it was returned to me with the exact same issue it was originally brought in for. Even worse, it now has additional warning messages and problems that were not present before. As a customer, I was repeatedly assured that the problem had been diagnosed and repaired, only to find out that nothing had actually been resolved. After being without my vehicle for months, rearranging family plans, and dealing with constant inconvenience, I expected accountability and a genuine effort to make things right. Instead, I was met with poor communication and what felt like complete indifference to the hardship this situation caused. I am a father of four. Reliable transportation is not a luxury for my family--it is a necessity. The amount of stress and disruption this experience created was completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury, after all of this time and inconvenience, the dealership's offer to resolve the situation showed little regard for what my family and I had endured. What disgusts me most is that after months in their possession and countless opportunities to correct the problem, I was handed back a vehicle with the same unresolved issue and expected to accept it. Very disappointed with my experience at Johnson Dodge regarding my Grand Wagoneer. Communication and customer service were absolutely terrible throughout the entire process, and I constantly had to chase them down just to get basic updates instead of receiving any proactive communication. The professionalism was also unacceptable, including being cursed at over the phone by a member of the service department. I'm leaving this review to save other customers the headache that my family has had to deal with. This entire experience has been frustrating, exhausting, and completely unacceptable. Most frustrating of all, the issue with my vehicle was never resolved, despite it being in the shop for three months. Repairs were paid for, yet the problem remains unresolved and no refund has been issued. At this point, I am forced to take my Wagoneer to another dealership in hopes of finally getting it properly fixed. It is clear that neither the general manager nor the owner is taking customer concerns or service equality seriously. I went to buy a car on Saturday 12/6/25. I had previously purchased my last two Grand Cherokees from this dealership so I thought the process would be relatively smooth. Ramon the young salesperson introduced himself and we began the process. Immediately I explained that the only two figures that mattered to me were the out the door price and the financing rate, as I would be paying cash for over half the purchase price and have a credit score rated "exceptional". He assured me that he understood and alluded that both would be achievable. Well, four hours later after the typical negotiations I was finally able to meet with the finance manager and complete the purchase. I was then informed me that they were offering me 7.9% on the price we had agreed upon. I stated that the rate wasn't even close to what I was looking for and he came back with 4.9% but at the full MSRP cost. I simply left because I knew that their rates were ridiculous. Two days later I purchased a beautiful GMC SUV from Franco at Sawyer Lyons GMC in Randolph, at both a competitive price and at 1.9%. After three separate negotiations and Johnson Dodge I recognize that their primary strategy is to stall as much as possible in an attempt to wear the buyer out, then hope that out of exhaustion they will make a sale on their terms. read more

I don't really post reviews but wanted to warn others. I truly would never recommend anyone from going to this dealership. They were great in selling me 2 vehicles but should have been warned about there devices department. scheduled an oil change for my wife's car when I got there they told me 4 hour wait. I complained and they said appointments don't matter. That week I needed to have my Ram checked out which it had a bad BCM and recall scheduled an appointment a month out for a loaner. Day of service I called to ensure they had the loaner of course they did not they said would be another week. so far it's been over a month emailed General manager and Service manager still no resolution. They will not return my calls or emails not even fix my truck anymore even though has a safety issue. Now I have to schedule service at another dealership. Side note my wife's Durango when we purchase had water in sunglasses holder which they said they cleaned left over water unfortunately was sunroof issue. read more

After leasing my vehicle, the dealership called me back soon after to say that the bank couldn't honor the deal they made and I ended up with a different deal than I originally agreed to. Since when can dealerships unilaterally change their agreements?? the person who did the agreement try to solve the blow by reducing my monthly payment. So I let this go. Fast forward a few years and now there's a recall on my Jeep Wrangler, four-door hybrid for both the engine and the battery. So I made an appointment even though the engine doesn't have the resolution yet I figured I would at least have the battery changed out. Because they have a problem with loaner cars I made the appointment months earlier. Now the dealership is a half an hour away, so thankfully, I had the foresight to call the service desk before I drove out to get the work done. After being placed on hold for a while, this woman rep said that the manager should've called me yesterday to say that there were no loaner cars. The loaner car was the whole reason I made this appointment so far in advance. They should've kept a loaner car for people who made appointments so early on! When I expressed my displeasure with the situation, the woman who answered the phone said well take your car to a different dealership and summarily hung up. How is this Ok? If this was the first bad experience with the service dept. I would overlook writing a bad review, but it's not. Last week had an electrical problem in dash of my jeep grand Cherokee, booked a service appt online checked the box will you need a loaner car (yes). Brought the car on scheduled date and time no loaner vehicle available they stated that they are a month out. Wow don't offer that service if you can't provide it. Gave them a video of what my car did with the dash gauges going nuts, lights, sounds. They had it for 7 days, we would randomly drive through the lot and the vehicle was in same spot. We were told they were trying to duplicate the vehicle gauges going crazy. The code that came up was communication issue. Nothing was fixed and on the 7th day without a vehicle we were told we could leave it for them to keep trying or pick it up and close out service. We bought the jeep extended warranty for 7 years 100,000 miles, I have 52,000 it says $100. Deductible. Our bill was $274. Diagnostics and shop supplies. I was told diagnostics isn't covered and since NO SERVICE was performed it was my bill that we signed when we dropped off vehicle. So you had my car for a week didn't fix anything and charged me $275. Never again. Totally frustrated with this dealership. Filed a claim with jeep corporate we shall see. read more

BADCADILLAC.com for all the info I went to Johnson Cadillac in March/April of 2024, test drove a car, gave them a $10,000.00 deposit on a 2023 CERTIFIED used Cadillac, signed a bunch of paperwork but NEVER TOOK THE CAR HOME. Why you ask. Because Johnson Cadillac is a corrupt dealership, filled with lying con artists that try feeding on the vulnerable people that come to them looking for a car. The car was a CERTIFiED vehicle and yet before I could take it home it had to be sent out to a third party because the strut was falling off the car, the control arm was bent and it needed a front end alignment. It needed all this AFTER it was sold to me as a CERTIFiED used Cadillac with a 172 point checklist that specifically stated struts, control arms and alignment were good. It got no better at Johnson Dodge, the sister store, when I went there to explain the problems considering Johnson CADILLAC couldn't figure anything out. The sales manger at Johnson Cadillac told me face to face that they don't have a front end rack there, don't inspect the front ends of any cars prior to certifying them and as a matter of fact he assured me that NONE of the vehicles that have left Johnson Cadillac have ever had a full 172 point inspection prior to selling them CERTIFIED. They feed on people like YOU. I told them I'm not like the others so I'm doing a good deed and warning people about the despicable, conniving, deceitful thieves that call Johnson Cadillac their home. I have fully documented my experience with these people and was forced to send them an email calling them out on all their malicious behavior. They NEVER responded. Beware when going here. I went for air conditioning repair . Came out with 10 miles out a check engine light on had them " repair " it to only get it back five miles out of dealership to have it come on again. They would not make good on it and then sight on seen told me I needed a carbon cleaning on a 2001 car with 38 thousand miles on it. Asked to talk to manager. They didn't want to make good. Called again to talk to a higher up and they did not care infact never called back about my concerns. Something seems shady to me. read more

They say they will text you however they don't... 4 texts went unanswered. I had to call and demand to get a manager on the phone so I could get any info on my vehicle! When someone does answer, it's excuses and "phone issues." It took one week of calling to get someone to answer to schedule the service visit in the first place!! We bought a jeep from David Feld and he was great but the music was extremely loud. I had to go outside occasionally just to get away from it. Why do they have to play loud music and make it difficult to hear? Service department is impossible to get. They have a digital agent. What happened to good old real-person service? This place is the most unorganized dealership I ever dealt with .. I told the sales person who no longer works there to transfer my old plates to the new car? Well I spoke to Robert , Mark, and everyone else in the place only to be told three weeks after I purchased the car that they never put in for my registration so not only did I wait another three weeks but they also sent me new plates and new registration which I never asked for I was transferring my old plates to the new car now I have to call my insurance company. Make sure that they give me a new insurance card go to the DMV and return my old plates. This is all an inconvenience for me and they don't care as long as they made the sale so be mindful people when you walk into this place make sure you get someone that knows what they're talking about because the 3,4,5, people that I spoke to no one had a clue, I will never recommend this place to anyone ever! I will never ever recommend this dealership ever again to another person. I recommended my mom and two coworkers who all bought cars from this place and after the way I was treated today I will never recommend this place. Lets first start off with the fact that I was MOCKED on the phone by a woman service representative who answered the phone by being snarky and didn't even introduce herself and saying "we'll give you back your $9.95" - this was after 3 hours of waiting for a call back from the service manager and multiple phone calls BECAUSE I was charged for a tire rotation which was never done and then when confronted about it I was told that my tires were "too worn" to do a tire rotation but yet I was never told that at the dealership. I was told at the dealership that my tires would need to be replaced in the future I was never told that they were too worn. Then when I talked to the service manager Courtney, she blamed me and said that because I rushed her so she was never able to see the notes from the technician that stated that but yet I had dropped my truck off at the dealership at 9:30AM and went back to pick up my truck at 12:45 ... so I guess 3 hours isn't enough time for an oil change and tire rotation. Also, magically when I brought my truck in four months ago for them to replace my front brake pads and rotors because they were so worn and still other warranty (which I believe they never replaced) .. I was told that my rear brakes and rotors were fine and in four months somehow my rear brake pads and rotors now need to be imminently replaced. Since getting my front brakes done they have never stopped screeching and there is a burning smell coming from my front brakes yet the dealerships keeps telling me that it's my rear brakes but there's no burning smell coming from my rear brakes. I asked to speak to the GM multiple times and never got a call back. The disrespect from the staff here is something I have never experienced before. I wish I could give this dealership a 0 star rating because that's what it deserves. read more

Safety safety issue! Two major safety violations. Do not service your Vehicle there! Heard a grinding noise coming from my jeep, which I purchased at this dealership. Called to make an appointment and was told just to bring it in Monday- Friday from 8-4pm. Easy! Brought my jeep in and they did a full inspection of the vehicle and said I was just over do on my oil change. The grinding sound persisted and we called to have it looked at again. Meanwhile I took it to another certified mechanic for a second opinion. Turns out I had no rear brakes inner brakes. I was in shock and upset. This is our family car I transport my children in and another one on the way. Obviously a full inspection meant they didn't even look at jeep properly. I'm in shock of the lack of concern of safety. I wanted the service department at the dealership to make this right because they should know what's going on with their mechanics and I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. We'll they fixed the rear brakes but didn't use the proper torque wrench ( something along those lines) which my wheels could fall off. They wanted me to drive the jeep back to make sure everything was ok. Drive the jeep back? Lol. We'll they ended up having a mechanic drive to home to make sure it was ok. I understand every place is suffering from lack of employees. But we can't let that jeopardize safety especially with a family car. How awful and disappointing. If I could give zero stars I would. The rudest workers I think I've ever met in my life. I was days away coming off a lease from another company and they wouldn't help me. Put my paperwork to the side and said they'll deal with it over the next few days. We called and called they wouldn't take our calls. Finally someone took a call and said they tried nothing they can do. Well turns out they didn't even run my credit! Zero hits on my credit. Useless workers! That was strike 1. Fast forward a few years. I came in to get into another lease after getting my dodge from another dealer. And instead of getting the salesman I was recommended to, they stuck me with a female intern girl who looked no older than 15. She came back with ridiculous numbers, wanted to give me $10k LESS than value on my trade. I walked out and vowed to NEVER return to this place. 2 strikes of not helping someone in need. Very poor communication and damaged and insufficient car parts go completely unnoticed. Bought my used Jeep a couple years ago here and all the tires were worn. I decided not to use them for fix ups and such after that. Then last month my headrest suddenly broke. Called and they told me they'd order a replacement because it was defective. when the part arrived I never got a call. I called them and they said theyre short staffed. I had to wait 3 weeks to bring it in to get the new part. I brought it in and waited until they put the new headrest in. I go in my car and there's a tear in the head rest - big as life. How they could not see that is beyond me but they probably thought I wouldn't notice. I went in and complained and was uoset because the dealer is a drive from my house The manager said they'd get me new headrests and rather than me have to come back with my cat when the parts arrive, they'd hace someone come to my house and give me a loaner vehicle. well it's been 2 weeks and no one has contacted me yet. I emailed them twice, a week ago. Still no response. Evidence shows that speaking to them in person or over the phone doesn't get you anywhere. I will not complain about the service since it seemed normal. However I will say that after mentioning and showing a coupon for an oil change special of $19.99 I was promptly told that it didn't apply to my vehicle since it uses synthetic oil (well dahhh ! What newer vehicle doesn't use synthetic oil) that left me a bit uncomfortable, enough to post this review. If you're going to offer a special that's worth anything then do like most service centers do: they honor the coupon and mention that it only covers older vehicles. Then they will adjust the price by a few dollars to cover the HIGH(laughter) cost of synthetic oil. But not at this dealership oh no they will charge you the full rate of $79.99 with no adjustment to their $19.99 oil change special. So after having waited for five hours, they told me that they had to order a part which would arrive the next day. Went back the next day and about an hour and a half later they had the car ready. They forgot to give me the bill for the oil change which I mentioned to them, the service manager a really nice guy must have heard me and told the girl to just charge me $39.99 for the oil change now that's a fair price for it! I originally rated them with one star but upgraded it to 3 stars which is not bad considering that to get five stars you have to be excellent all around, which we shall see during my next visit. read more

We had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation and have the navigation map installed we purchase the up date usb fob before going to the dealer. The appointment as at 12 pm. It took 2 1/2 hours to do this. The service department charged us $150. For the map up date stating they had to down load the new map . When we question the service manager she was rude and didn't want to here that we already paid for the up date. We will no longer purchase from Johnson Dodge. read more

Purchased a 2018 Dodge Ram from Johnson Dodge. Two months after purchase noticed a water stain on rear back headliner. After bringing the vehicle back multiple times we have had nothing but problems with leaking inside the truck. Have returned the vehicle NUMEROUS times for correction of problem, water doctor, quite a few times, replaced back window, replaced back brake light, replaced seal on roof, and replaced antenna fin, which after replacement of fin, latest fix, issue worsened, leaking on both sides now. Johnson Dodge has repeatedly tried to rectify issue and continues to try over and over even after we have expressed concerns over time that has lapsed and wanted to explore getting a new vehicle. We have continued to address this issue with multiple people and have gotten absolutely no where. They make it almost impossible to want to help us in anyway. Ask for Matt Richie if you are looking to buy and you won't be disappointed! My wife and I called all around north eastern PA and northern Jersey looking for a Polar Jeep Wrangler in hydro blue with manual transmission. Matt was the only salesman to go out of his way and located our beautiful new baby! He was extremely friendly, not pushy at all, super knowledgable, and extremely patient. It took a few days but they brought her from easter Long Island, put a tow hitch on her, and gave us a very fair amount for our 12-year-old Honda Accord trade-in. When we drove off the lot yesterday afternoon, the MIL and tracktion control indicator lights came on. I messaged Matt and in a few minutes we had an appointment for the next morning. They got us right in and were able to correct the issue in a flash simply by reconnecting a wire harness and updating the computer software. We are heading to Cape Cod tomorrow and were happy to speed things up for us including an expedited tow hitch install. This really is the best place to buy a Jeep, Chrysler, or Dodge. They also have a healthy inventory of used cars and will eagerly located anything else for you as they frequent all the local auctions. They are family owned and treat you as such! read more
