The doctor has gotten too busy & has more nurse practitioners for new clients. If you wait too long to see him, more than 2~3 years without an appointment, you lose him for regular checkups, & then have to see the NPs instead. He might still perform surgery though if needed for you. Appointments can take months of waiting. Front desk might call back to request health insurance information again. They lost it the first time. To remind you of an upcoming appointment, they call twice to confirm. I prefer working directly with Dr. Moskowitz, due to better communication & better results with him in the past. He's fantastic. I trust his medical skills. Very few good medical & dental professionals in Central Florida, versus South Florida.

My friend recommended Moskowitz to me and even though it was a bit of a trek away (Oviedo), the rec was hearty enough that I made a much-needed appointment for me and the hubs. As a new patient, I didn't know if they'd be able to fit me in quickly as I had a mole that was looking reeeeeally funky and worrisome. My initial call was easy and left me feeling so valued as they fit me in a week prior to the original date they gave me when she found out I was concerned about a particular mole. After accidentally going to their old location, I finally got to the building and was blown away. The lobby area is VERY lux and I felt like I was on vacation. Trust me- you'll get it when you're there. I filled out some quick forms and was called in right on time. Carla and Lisette were the nurses who got me started before and after my provider, Alicia Nuñez (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner) saw me. I had a great time chatting with Carla and Lisette and they put me at ease. It's crazy how much this makes a difference when you're stressing. I'm so thankful for their warmth! And then APRN Nuñez took a thorough scan of my body and was so gentle with me as she took some biopsies (I let them know I have a vasovagal response sometimes and faint, so they got me apple juice). Afterwards, I was able to purchase a few items from their store (off to the side of the lobby) to care for my biopsy areas over the next few weeks. I was pleased to see that the prices were low. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my new derm. I'll definitely be recommending them!

I saw their nurse practitioner Wendy Alvarez and she was a delight. She was extremely professional and prompt with my diagnosis which was so reassuring. No one wants an allergic reaction rash while on vacation in sunny Florida. The front desk staff and waiting room are very friendly and clean. There is a private lot to park directly across the street.

The front office clerk was one of the nicest humans I have ever met. About 7 minutes after my appointment I heard her asking if anyone from my doctor's team was available because I had been waiting. They did come about 5 minutes after so I appreciated her keeping on top of it!! My exam went smoothly and I felt comfortable the entire time. They have 2 people in the room to ensure exams are done correctly. Parking is free in the lot of the building - behind the building is pay so make sure you go in the garage. :)

Really no other information was given which struck me as unusual compared to my other intake calls with different practitioners. When I arrived early for my appointment (which was one of the earliest available in the morning) I filled out very brief paperwork and sat and waited to be seen. My appointment time came and went and I was finally ushered back to a room where an assistant asked a few more questions (why was I here, any family history of ____, etc.) and then I waited some more. I was surprised things were already seeming to run late even though it was still before 9 am. Half an hour after my actual appointment time, the doctor came in, said hello, asked why I was there, did an incredibly brief check of my arms and back--nowhere else-- and updated a prescription at my request (without probing for more information about the condition necessitating the prescription). The doctor was nice enough but I left feeling like I had not had a particularly thorough screening and there were no recommendations for future behaviors/products other than "be checked fairly regularly." The office staff were not particularly friendly, barely glancing at me when handling paperwork or payments; no smiles, no "how are you today?" and so on. I guess maybe I'm just used to other, friendlier office staff, but I didn't feel welcomed as a new patient here. Bottom line: My visit was brief and baseline. Previous dermatologist visits in other states involved thorough discussions of my family history with the derm, recommendations for skincare and sunscreen products based on my history and activity level, and careful skin checks all over my body. I really did not receive that here. I would like a practice with more thorough skin checks, prompt service, and friendly staff. I'll be visiting another dermatologist in the future.

I told her I was waiting on my physical card, but I had a picture of it, if that was ok. She was hateful and told me no, I'd have to email it, WHICH WAS WHAT I WAS ASKING. From there she became very combative, and I advocated for myself, while trying to comply with her directions, despite being treated like a dog. Additionally, I had an appointment for 915am, and another patient, who had an appointment at 930am was taken back before, me as well as other patients that came in after me, whose appointments were scheduled later. I wouldn't be surprised if that was due to the receptionist. After making me get up and down several times for my cards, and paperwork, after I advised that I had artificial hips and I was having difficulty, another woman, who could barely speak English came out, and told me they would not be treating me, and didn't give me a reason why. After the way I was treated by the receptionist, I was already contemplating leaving because this was not the way to start new treatment with a new doctor. So, instead of arguing, I just left. They clearly cater to the elective patients in Winter Park, and don't really care about the medically needy patients, or the hypocritic oath that the providers take when they get their license. Judging by the prior review, I'm not the only one to have this kind of experience, and I'm sure the positive reviews are the staff trying to CYA. Again, This practice is in an upscale part of town, and clearly caters to its elective procedure patients, and treats its actual medical patients like garbage.

I've been coming here for the last five years and don't believe I've ever waited 5-10 minutes beyond my appointment time to be seen. The providers are skilled and do excellent work. I have high standards and visit 3-6 times a year as a pale skinned person who grew up in Florida. The few negative reviews you seen here are not indicative of my countless experiences. I also know other people who feel the same way. The negative reviews are from people who are probably always negative, and don't handle mistakes or miscommunications the right way. I've also had moles checked with my yearly check-ups and had some laser treatment to remove some spots I was self-conscious about. Regardless of what I've been here for I always feel comfortable and well-cared for which is why I highly recommend this place. The parking may seem tricky since this building is right off of a main road and you'll only see a few spots in the front, but there is plenty of parking in the back.
