After delivery, I discovered that my oven was not heating properly and I was assigned a customer support person at corporate, ALEX. She is AMAZING!!! She is responsive, helpful, thorough, and just such a delight to work with. She'd call when she said she would, follow up with service centers and really advocate for me and made me feel heard. Now that my oven is working, I'm going to miss her weekly follow ups with me. If you have an issue with an appliance, definitely recommend Alex.

Unfortunately, after spending thousands of dollars on repairs over the past five years, it continued to break down and was no longer reliable. Andres listened patiently to my concerns and then asked what type of refrigerator I was looking for. I told him I wanted something similar to the Thermador but with much greater longevity. He recommended Sub-Zero, explaining that while it cost a little more than Thermador, Sub-Zero refrigerators have a long-standing reputation for lasting over 20 years. I mentioned that I had read all Sub-Zero 48" models are 84" high, which is 1/2" taller than my existing Thermador, and I was concerned they would not fit in my cabinet space. Andres confidently told me they would fit, but to make absolutely certain, he offered to send Pacific Sales' certified Sub-Zero installers to my home to take measurements free of charge and with no obligation to purchase. The installers arrived the very next day, took measurements, and confirmed that all the Sub-Zero 48" models would fit perfectly. I then met Andres at the store, where he showed me the different 48" Sub-Zero models and honestly explained the pros and cons of each style based on customer feedback. I ultimately decided on the Classic French Door model. Since I had already been without a refrigerator for weeks, I told Andres I wanted it as soon as possible. We purchased an outdoor 6 burner cart grill with cover for my husband in the spring of 2012. My…read morehusband wanted a real grill, one that lasts a lifetime. When we entered the store, it was impressive and Jared was welcoming, very relaxed (he even had his dog there for company), and Jared was full of answer to all our questions. The grill my husband wanted was quite expensive, but Jared explained that it was stainless steel and would actually last a life time. He assured us that he made house calls to help maintain the grill if needed. We even bought the rotisserie accessory, which we have enjoyed many chickens from. All summer he grilled and was in Heaven, and continued for the next decade and the grill was like new. He had a service call once or twice, and dropped by several times for advice and accessories till COVID 2020. Well, spring is here and we were looking at the cover, and it needed to be replaced. The grill needed good cleaning, and the starter wasn't working, so we went to see Jared at the store. And he was there, along with his same dog! It was comforting to see that some things didn't change, but there were some new accessories available, like a turkey stand for roasting. Jared happily cleaned our grills at his shop, and then made a service call to clean the grill, just like new!!! Beautiful. And we bought a new cover. The previous grills my husband had would last for 2-5 years but would need to be replaced. We found out that the grill we have, is still available to purchase, and it is selling for more than double we bought it at in 2012, that was 14 years ago. We are super happy with this grill and with Jared who is a great guy for small talk, and where do you find someone that is happy to clean your grill? It was and has been a wonderful experience shopping at American Cooking Equipment and I highly recommend it.

My mistake; I got tired of struggling with the stuff I messed up and called the store asking if they had a service company they recommended. I didn't realize that the store and their salesman, Jared, support the equipment they sell after the sale. What a relief; I scheduled a service call with Jared, and he showed up and got everything working properly, repaired my poor job of replacing the ignitor, and now I'm as good as new! I highly recommend this company because they stand behind what they sell. An added benefit is they make the products here in the US, which is good for all of us. Thanks, Jared!!!
