Parking is better when summer hits, a lot of snowbirds have left town. Unfortunately in winter, parking is extremely crowded and so are checkout lines. Even so, it's worth it to stop by. On a recent trip, I found some great wine to try, along with discounts on water, paper towels and other basic supplies. Weekends aren't really the best time to shop, although this store is busy whenever. Employees will stop what they're doing and answer questions, but the layout is good and it's not hard to find items. The down side is the long wait to checkout, the employees know how to ring up items fast and get you on your way, but it's the ten people ahead of you that slow things up. I've heard a second Costco is in the works and with the popularity of this store, it can't happen soon enough.

So, by their name, you might never guess, but, these guys are knife experts! I was looking for…read moresomeone in Naples to sharpen my knives and scissors and couldn't find anyone to do the job. Found them on Yelp. This company just recently started a knife sharpening service for retail customers (they have been doing it for many local restaurants for YEARS). Took my knives and scissors in at 1pm and they said they would be ready the next day. Great! However, they were ready by 4pm that very same day! Granted, it is off season but, wow! We picked them up and met Alex, who demonstrated how sharp our knives were now by easily slicing through a piece of paper. I was impressed. Alex then took us into his shop to show us how he did his magic. He said that they have also, for generations, sold a variety of knives, from value to the highest end German products at extremely competitive prices.
