A-7 and A-5 crepes (saumon fumé and sologne), café bonbon and a café crème

Amazing food, we were very impressed by the crepes, the service was great although he was very busy attending to everyone. The general vibes were very good but it is a very small cafe so seating COULD be an issue depending on the time of day.

For my first time at this quaint local cafe on Cook Street, I ordered the seafood crepe.

Little June is the cutest corner coffee shop, offering a great selection of pastries and sandwiches (which I'll definitely come back to try!). The lattes and coffees are also noticeably cheaper than many other cafes around here, which was such a pleasant surprise. The space is modern, bright, and perfect for a casual date or even getting some work done. Definitely check out this adorable cafe and explore the nearby shops!

We were passing by and decided to take a break before getting back on our bikes. Little June is a charming coffee shop serving breakfast, brunch, and pastries/baked goods. Fernwood coffee is also available here. We ordered an iced latte and an iced London fog. My particular favourite was the iced latte. I believe they utilize Earl Grey powder for their London fog, and I was pleasantly pleased by how wonderful it tasted. It was unusual because I was not used to the powder but rather the tea bags. The host at the cashier was really kind and provided wonderful service. They have tons of seatings. I loved how open and airy the space was! I'll have to try their brunch the next time I visit. I highly recommend this cute little spot!

This Timmy's is a godsend if you're a student looking to study past midnight, aka me during exam…read moreseason this term. While I'd be inclined to give it a 2 star review based on the selection throughout the day (they frequently run out of certain soups) and the lack of outlets (only available at the long table near the washrooms), I am incredibly grateful that it is open 24/7. Moreover, it has restaurants and grocery stores nearby if you need to pop by elsewhere for food. The service is fairly decent too. With these things considered, my review stands closer to 3 stars. Some of my friends find this location noisy, but I personally don't mind, especially if I have my headphones in and am starting to feel tired. If you've got yourself an iced capp, you'll definitely be all the more alert. There were two occasions, however, where there was some heated conversation (i.e. swearing, threats) late at night, but neither conversation lasted too long. For food and drinks, the iced capp, frozen lemonade, and honey dip donut have been consistently made each time I've ordered them, so cheers to that! In terms of hot food, I've only had the soup (cream of broccoli, tomato basil, and spicy Thai) with white bread, as well as the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich recently. While the soups are generally okay, the breakfast sandwich is quite subpar: the sausage is incredibly thin, the egg is rubbery and bland, and the muffin is simply there to hold it altogether. Compared to a McMuffin, which you can easily get across the street, it's what a certain someone would call "sad". Three other things that are sad are the discontinued chicken salad sandwich (my favourite item to order at Timmy's - please bring it back!), the rarity of the French onion or Italian wedding soups on the menu (their best soups, in my opinion), and the square facial tissues used for toilet paper (why, just why?). For what it's worth though, I don't think you can expect too much from a chain that is open 24/7. As I said, it's great for studying into the wee hours, and is sufficient overall for food and drinks.

With it being the closest location to the university, I love taking little trips with friends to go sit down and have a bite to eat when nearing hour 7 on campus. This location is actually really wonderful. Every time I go in, I have the luck of having the same cashier: the lovely Miss Daisy. Her nametag reads the former, and I can absolutely see why! She's the team leader and a genuine pleasure to talk to, every time. If you're looking for somewhere pleasant to sit down and have a classic cup of joe (or a really delicious bowl of soup!), pop by Tim Hortons in the Shelbourne Plaza and hope to run into Miss Daisy!

This is right outside the Public Market and has plenty of street parking on and around the block. From the get go, amazing ambiance - bright, colorful infused with wooden interiors makes you take notice. A very innovative menu makes it hard to not try more than you planned on. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. We had the below items and can't wait to be back to try more on their menu. It seems they do refresh their menu quite a bit and the current menu is definitely bomb! 1. Hong Kong style Pork Sandwich - 12/10, amazing favors, very nicely done! 2. Savory Poptart - 10/10, light, flake, buttery, melt in the mouth 3. Mandarin Day Dream from their Signature Drinks - Drink of my dreams. I will dream of it until I can have it again and I hope they do not drop it from the menu until then. Such a innovative and well balanced drink - 20/10, must try!! We need you here in the U.S. Whoever is dishing out these creative menu items (signature drinks & the sandwiches) needs a raise!
