Shout out to JoJo's for making my wife's birthday special tonight. I booked a party of 6 and they let me up it to 7. The Sol Roots Trio played amazing jazz and they took requests! Great covers of Bob Marley, Frankie Beverly and many others. Our servers were right on time, drinks and food came out quickly. I enjoyed the Mango Margarita (it had a lil spice to it which I loved) and my wife had a really good expresso martini. The New Orleans Seafood was delish. It did not have Cajun heat but it had great flavor. Then they topped it off with a birthday tiramisu with a candle. Excellent night, thanks for everything!

JoJos was clean and the staff for the most part were polite. I ordered the cream of crab soup and a Chicago dog. The soup was supposed to come out first, however server said she forgot. Soup should have been called imitation crab soup as it was pollock fish, not crab. There may have been crab in there, though I could not find any over the ton of pollock fish which gave the soup/bisque a slimy texture. The Chicago dog was more of a hoagie than a true traditional hotdog. Large hotdog served on a hoagie roll. It was good, but definitely not a traditional Chicago dog. I lived in Chicago and love Chicago dogs. I give this place a maybe be back do not know at this time.

This is a sad review. I really wanted this place to be good because I heard a few good things. But on this day the pierogies were freezer burnt and too hard to cut with a knife and the sour cream that usually makes everything better came in a packet like ketchup. My sons ordered the French toast which was literally grilled bread and corned beef hash that was definitely hormel and terrifying. I'm sad for this place. The two stars are For the waitress who was super kind.

The Chesapeake Dog. I found myself in Chesapeake City on National hotdog day. National Hot Dog day so I had to have a hot dog. I'm in Chesapeake City so I have to have crab meat. BAM, the Chesapeake Dog. Good big hot dog. The crab meat was very tasty. A decent amount of cheese melted nicely. The Roll could have been a little better.

I normally order pick up from jojos, their breakfast is SO good and prices are good too! They are always nice on the phone and at pick up, super easy to order! They never get my order wrong or forget anything. I have also gotten their sloppy Jojo for lunch and it is massive in size and very good! Definitely recommend!

The service was pleasant but the food not so much. Mostly flavorless. Fries taste like the fryer oil hasn't been changed in decades.

We weren't out for a super expensive dinner and everyone wanted something different Pizza: The pizzas are excellent, yes even the GF crust. Sushi: had two specialty rolls, one we have never tried and it was fresh and very tasty Lobster Mac and Cheese: GF pasta and again it was delicious. From our experience the upstairs price for what you get is hard to beat in value and consistent food quality - from pizza to steaks, pasta or seafood they have a wide variety of options in both price and cuisine.

He invited us back out to give the restaurant another shot - and we are so glad he did! We weren't sure what to expect for the second time, and to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Every single part of the experience was phenomenal. We tried a new appetizer (I can't remember the name but it was a crab appetizer). The crab was fresh and overall, delish. We ordered the Hairy Chinn sushi again, as we did love that the first time. We both got cocktails from their menu, and they were both so unique and refreshing (we even ordered a second round!). I tried a chef special, which was the Picanha & Charred Scallion. When I tell you, it was absolutely perfect! Everything, even down to the olive oil mixture was tasty. My fiancé ordered the crab cakes and he raved about them as well! We ordered a side of Candied Brussels sprouts - and they were easily the best Brussels sprouts we've ever tried. We couldn't resist dessert and got the crème brûlée. We loved every bit! The service was 10/10, and our server was great. She was attentive, friendly, and knew the menu well! Valet parking moved much quicker, and you can't beat the beautiful view of the boats and the water. We had so many great things to say about our experience that now our families are planning their visit too! We are so grateful that Matthew reached out to us. Inviting us back has certainly turned us into loyal customers and we cannot wait to come back!

I have to say this restaurant is fantastic. We sat on the cover deck right along the water got to see the boots coming in and out. The food was fantastic. They make an excellent bloody Mary, which is one of my favorite drinks! My mom had a peach Bellini and she raved about it. Our server was fantastic. This has become our new favorite, so we will definitely be returning and I can't wait! We had the crab dip and the muscles read for our appetizers. We love muscles and do you eat a lot of muscles I have to say they need to add more sauce to those muscles and it would make them far better. The crab dip is great. I had to crab meat tacos fantastic. My fiancé had the broiled seafood combo. It was good but for that price there was not enough food. I wish I would've taken a picture of that and I didn't so that's my fault. Definitely need to put more food on that plate for that price. My dad had the crabcakes and he said it was very good so all in all we all loved it. It's super close for my parents coming from Jersey so this is definitely be when we return great experience.

I have a unique and new take to share. But first I want to say that this place is so ADORABLE and…read morethe owner is a very sweet woman. She's running the cafe by herself but has helpers on some occasions. Her menu is especially unique because, although it's mostly an American menu, it also has Mediterranean/Middle Eastern options. The food is always fresh and yummy and menu prices are super low. This place is an excellent option if you want a quick bite and your goal is to satisfy your hunger. Similar comments have already been made repeatedly in other reviews. But here's what might be a new take. Cobbleston Cafe's average rating should be at least 4.7 and above and I'll tell you why I think it's not. It's because people are ridiculous. Honestly. I read the other reviews and their expectations of a CAFE are incredibly nonsensical. You can't enter a cafe and expect a full kitchen. Cafes like Starbucks, Peet's Coffee and even Panera are much larger places and don't have full kitchens. We all know Starbucks is overpriced and often sell stale menu items. This place is incredibly affordable, has a LOT more to choose from, and is 1000% better because it's so much more fresh! It's a cozy and smaller place. There's a reason locals love this cafe because it's satisfying, fresh and is priced very fairly. Have the right expectations and you'll also be giving it 5 stars! And if you prefer supporting local businesses, please stop by Cobblestone Cafe and support this wonderful lady too.

Such a mixed review & experience. We made reservations for Sunday brunch and glad we did as the…read moreplace got crowded quickly. On one hand I want to try again for dinner but for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. Pros: Amazing service - very attentive server(s); we had one in training/shadowing and she was just as good as our primary server, offering refills, clearing plates, overall greet banter Cocktails are fantastic - had the Minnie Ripperton and loved it - creamy yet refreshing and bright which is a tough combo to achieve Cons: Hidden entrance - after circling what looked like an abandoned building 2x we finally figured out the entrance was in the backy and down a set of stairs. I now understand the "speakeasy vibe" but the clutter in the front made the building look abandoned or under construction; not a great start to the experience for us Food service - the other couple we were dining with got their entrees about 10 minutes before ours and we were some of the first orders & diners of the day. Usually you might hold the whole table or refire some of the dishes so it all comes out at the same time. They finished theirs before we even got our to start, making it a strange eating experience Small print menu - with the low light of the speakeasy, the menu had the teeeeniest print I've ever seen making it very difficult to read the menu options. We also didn't realize that the menu changes/is seasonal (not called out on the website) so many of the items we had wanted to try were not an available option. I love a menu that changes but hope it's indicated on the website (aka: sample menu, subject to seasonal change) Hit-n-miss: Fried chicken Benedict- huge portions, amazing biscuits and perfectly poached (but unseasoned?) eggs. I don't know if the hollandaise soaked into the fried chicken or never existed at all - and that's the thing you want with a Benedict. If it existed, it never reached the biscuits because while they were good, but were completely dry Shrimp and grits - perfectly cooked, great consistency, but very under-seasoned Water - just an observation and maybe it's just the local tap water flavor but it tasted off or as off the soap hadn't been washed from the glasses Pro Tip: be aware of the automatic gratuity in some circumstances; if you don't know, check the website before your meal!
