So, I finally went because I heard they take card. Super easy process actually. Yeah, it's tiring but if you want to wash your car yourself, then that's the price you pay. Here are the steps, pull up and park in the center, swipe your credit card and it'll say "authorizing". Once that's done, the timer starts and you'll see the stopwatch start. There is a dial in the center which you move to select what you want (pressure washer, soapy scrub brush, tire brush, spot-free rinse). Then you just do what you gotta do. Simple. They has a dedicated scrubber for the tires/wheels so turn the dial to that option when you need it. They also have a wax option which I think made my truck shiny! The spot-free rinse also left very minimal spots. I spent about 13 mins. Not sure how much it came out to but make sure you hit the button that says "cancel" at the end of the wash so that the timer stops and you don't get charged more.

I hadn't had a detail in a decade and it was just filthy inside and out. It's a NEW car, minus the dent I need to have vacuumed or sucked out and the driver's seat. Saab leather cracks sooner than other brands. My Nissan Pathfinder LE (1998) lasted much longer. I took a video but will get pictures later and upload to phone. I cannot believe the ceiling. Like no one ever smoked! It's shiny, shiny, shiny. They did the interior and exterior, plus engine. Elite detailing isn't cheap but if , like me, you paid cash for your used car and have no payments, who cares? It's like a couple months car payment or so. Do yourself a favor and call for a quote. The website has no prices but they also do ceramic coating, with several tiers of packages. You can do a mini-detail or just regular car wash but if you leave the car with them for a day, they will give you a NEW CAR back at the day's end. I'm still on Cloud 9. Floating! Every time I see my baby, I smile! PS. THE SB INDEPENDENT BEST OF LIST IS HORRIBLE. The best acupuncturist, not just in SB but California, is Anthony Kar. He's probably the best in America. He wasn't on the list. My friend, Evan Schoolnik Berger, has a food tour company that didn't make the list. My chiropractor and gym made it. Barry Family Chiro and SBAC/SWELL are the best in town. But David's shop should have made the list.

I honestly couldn't believe how accommodating, professional, and kind they were. The work they did was flawless -- my rental looked like nothing had ever happened. I reached out to Tye at Ally Detail for an internal detailing and he was extremely quick to respond, professional, and kind. He made the process so easy - I simply dropped off my car at 11:30am and it was ready by 3:00pm! When I got back to pick up my car, it was beautiful. Dog hair was gone, stain on the front passenger seat was gone, and he went above and beyond to trim my car's mats to fit properly on the floor. And I can't forget to mention his trusty sidekick, Frisbee, who will happily greet you and is the sweetest little dog! Great customer service skills - I tipped a little extra just for him! Their machine damaged my tires…read moreduring a wash, and at first the staff acknowledged the issue and told me they would cover the cost of the damage. After many failed attemps to contact the manager, I was utlimately told they would not be covering the cost as promised. Now I can't get ahold of anyone as voice mailbox is always "full" and emails go unanswered. Extremely frustrating and disappointing customer service, especially after admitting responsibility in the beginning. I would strongly recommend taking photos of your vehicle before entering this wash and being cautious if any damage occurs, because getting resolution afterward has been nearly impossible. I will be pursuing legal action.
