    Smoked Brisket Salad

This was a first timer for my coworkers and I and it was easy to find and wasn't busy when we first got there. Open area seating and parking was easy to find. It also helped that we went on a weekend. They really do a good job at keeping the place as tidy as it can be. I ordered the lobster roll with a side salad. I don't remember having the same ingredients in a bahn mi sandwich, but it was also a long time ago since I've visited Jolene's but at their Ewa location. I'm used to eating a lobster roll with no extra ingredients. It was still good though minus the extra shells I bit into. Their portions are plenty. My coworkers ordered a brisket salad, Louisiana salad, brisket melt and brisket fries and their plates were full. Thank you Jolene's Airport and keep up the good work.

Great fast food right by the airport. Hardest part might be finding parking but worth looping around a couple times for a spot. Had the BBQ Brisket Fries, Buttah Lobster Roll and a Thai Tea. Fries were delicious. Shared them and still had leftovers. The lobster roll was great. Soft toast like roll is delicious with the lobster salad on it. The service was quick. We were able to find an open picnic table to eat at. Nice to sit outside and eat minus the flies.

I was in the area and it was time for brunch so I got the corned beef, bacon, eggs, and rice meal. It was a good portion of food for the price. The corned beef hash had more potatoes than corned beef but at least it wasn't from a can. My main issue was it had a little too much pepper so I tasted that a lot. The bacon was good. I got the eggs scrambled but it came out more like an omelet which was no big deal. I got a fountain drink and didn't know it was going to be in a fun custom cup with their own design. That was a nice touch and I'll reuse it! The food did take a bit of time to come out so don't go if you need more fast food timing. There are a good amount of covered seating out front with plastic picnics tables which is nice.

First time dining here, and probably not the last. Everything that we ordered here was delicious. Thanks to yelp and photos looking so good with a different local menu, decided to give it a shot and so glad we did. The bread on the melts were crispy and buttery. The cheesy goodness is the best. We all had a bite of each other's order. I could not complain about any of it. I love pastrami and brisket and they were both tender and tasty. Outdoor seating on patio tables, so flies can be a problem, but they were not gonna get our food! You orderand wait for the buzzer to go off. About 10mins. I am going to try other things then extra time. Food portions are a good size and pricing is reasonable.

To my surprise and delight, I was unaware that birria tacos with consommé are offered as one of their specials. This meal satisfied my hunger and craving for birria tacos. Light cheese lined the larger tortillas, packed with some shredded and some cubed beef, lettuce, cilantro with long stems. Dunked each taco in their flavorful, spicy, heat on point consommé. Amazing! Staff were very courteous. Waited a few minutes for my meal. My meal arrived in a to go container, complete with four napkins and a spoon. Enjoy outdoor dining of vitamin D and covered roof top while indulging in your meal of choice. There are four stalls numbered 1-4 on the right upon entering parking lot. Another option is on street parking. There are two larger tables that can easily fit 10-12 people, smaller tables for up to 4, and a few bar stools for solo seating. There's one restroom for customers available inside. Please see an employee for the key and code. I love their meal choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have the option to dine in or take out. Will definitely return to indulge in a lobster roll with waffle fries. Highly recommend!

BBQ Pork Melt This sandwich is huge, bread is super toasty, buttery, and large. Could use more of the BBQ sauce but otherwise, it was delicious. I'd order this again. BBQ Brisket Fries This serving is enough for sharing, so huge. Delicious, generous with the ingredients, it's like a nacho but with waffle potatoes. I'd order this again. A co-worker picked up, I was told parking is limited and can be a challenge. It's best to go with someone that can grab the order while the driver wait in the car.

Recently was in the area and stopped by Jolenes by the airport. Love that they have a few customer parking stalls and convenient location. There are outside tables and they give you a buzzer when food is ready to pick up. The service was friendly and my brisket salad was yummy and had some pickled vegetables in it. The only thing I wish they had less onions in it but thats just personal preference. I know some people love onions. Other than that generous portion and delicious!

They have sitting area, with a lot of ceiling fan to blow away the flies. Yes it is outdoor, so there are flies.

We heard about this place is famous about the lobster roll. Unfortunately, they always closed the shop early in the afternoon around 4 PM. Therefore we cannot go there on a weekday. Well today is Saturday so we decided to drive there to check out their lobster roll. They have a few parking store next to the restaurant and also street parkings. They also have some open air seating area with a lot of ceiling fans. Those fans help blow away the flies. It is a walk up order and pick up your food when your food is ready, do, not much service but the staffs seem friendly. We decided to pay extra to get two combos, clam chowder, soup, and french fry. It took quite some time for our lobster roll to get ready, even though we are the only customer placed out order at that time. The lobster roll tastes pretty good, however I was surprised that the lobster meat is served cold. I was expecting the meat is served hot. The clam chowder soup is very tasty however, I feel like the waffle flies is a little bit too oily. The lobster roll itself is $22. We added $3 for the soup and $4 for the waffle fries. Well $22 for a roll is not that cheap, so a lobster roll lunch set us back about $60. People said - you are lucky to live in Hawaii, but when come to food price, we are not that lucky. Overall, the lobster roll is yummy, but it will not be a regular stop for our lunch. This place will be a once in a while event in our future. We may try the other "Melt" in our next visit. Recommended.

The inside of the Spring Pesto sandwich

You know some days, especially in cooler weather, a nice warm sandwich and a good cup of soup sound amazing? Well, today was that day. A coworker and I decided to try the Jolene's airport location as it's relatively close to our office and a warm sandwich and chowder sounded amazing. I got the Spring Pesto Melt - a grilled cheese with mixed greens, pesto, and cherry tomatoes . I chose the corn chowder as my side. My coworker ordered the BBQ Brisket sandwich - brisket with a creamy sauce AND a BBQ sauce. She got her sandwich with a side of waffle fries. My pesto sandwich was grilled nicely, the bread was not too thick, and the flavor was mostly good. The cherry tomatoes were a little more sour than I prefer, but I still ate them with no problem. My coworker actually ordered the sauces for her sandwich on the side, which I asked for in additional instructions on the site, and they did it!! AMAZING service. She liked her sandwich, said the brisket already had a lil sauce (probably due to its nature of cooking), and was soft but just the littlest bit dry. I ordered online thru their website (which is currently supported by Toast) and did curbside pickup. So convenient for the area!! The server who brought our food out to the car was super friendly and polite. If you choose to eat there, seating is on like a patio area at the front of the restaurant. The restaurant wasn't super busy when I went, but parking is minimal as it's a shared lot, and street parking is almost non existent during the work week.

    Mozzarella Sticks

This spot had a lot of good reviews and the pictures looked so ono. I really wanted to like it but the food was disappointing. Main plate I ordered was the crispy fried chicken with gravy. As the menu photo and other review photos showed, I was expecting your usual fried chicken plate. What I received was more of a chicken katsu? The flavor was good, it had a sesame oil taste to it. But it's nothing you would expect when ordering chicken and gravy. The side salad was probably my favorite part. I'm hoping this is just an off day for them. Or maybe they're experiencing inconsistencies in the kitchen. Regardless, I wouldn't order this dish again. As a side I got the mozerella sticks. It's 4 big pieces, plenty to share. The breading really threw me off. It's like they rolled the cheese in a crumble rather than a breading. Literally imagine an apple crumble. That was the consistency of these sticks. I also wouldn't order these again. Although this particular experience wasn't the best, I'm still open to trying their other popular items as a lot of people seem to like them. Especially their melts and rolls. On a positive note, their portions are huge.

    Spicy Chicken Melt; Tomato Bisque

For all it is, this was a very satisfying visit. Jolene's is a nice little diner spot with outdoor seating, conveniently seated by the airport. I was getting work done at a nearby auto shop, and stopped by while waiting for my car. The food was ready pretty quickly, which was definitely nice. I was hungry, so getting my food quick was so relieving. I ordered their spicy chicken melt with a cup of tomato bisque. The tomato bisque was great! Warm, well seasoned, good thick texture, this absolutely hot the spot! The spicy chicken melt was phenomenal! The bread was nicely toasted and buttered. There was a good amount of cheddar cheese layered over the fried chicken, the chicken was flavorful and had a good bite to it. The spicy gochujang sauce, although not very spicy , has a wonderful flavor that seemed to bind everything else nicely. Also, the value in this! It was filling and very satisfying. I had a lazy yet busy morning before stopping by here for my car appointment, didn't get to fit in breakfast, so I was pretty hungry, and between just this sandwich and the soup, I am full, borderline kanak attack status, like I wanna just sit in a recliner and nap. Such a good meal, if you're hungry, looking for a flavor bomb, come on by! I've had take out from here that's also very good, but definitely better to get it and eat it on the spot!

The Buttah Lobster Roll at Jolene is truly unforgettable and hands down one of the best in town. With tender, buttery lobster packed into a perfectly toasted roll, every bite feels like a little slice of paradise. Thank you to my fellow Yelpers who got me hooked... Lol

    Fun lunch date!

Food: Always a hit! We love the birria or pork sandwich, dip it in a little tomato bisque and it will change your life. Their fries are delightful as well. I don't love the lobster roll but I know a lot of people do, so if that's your jam give it a try. For breakfast, their loco moco is large and filling but the real star is the CINNAMON ROLL FRENCH TOAST wow wow wow you absolutely need to try it!! Service: Excellent, every person I've interacted with there is kind and the food comes out quickly but you can tell it's made to order. Ambience: They do provide some seating but the tables are pretty dusty and don't get wiped off as often as they should. I personally like to just order ahead for pick up and eat at home but I am grateful for a spot to eat when I just can't wait to scarf it down. Price: Pretty reasonable for Hawaii, but it can get pricey pretty quickly because everything is a la cart. Nonetheless, it's a yummy place to treat yourself to every once in a while! TIPS & TRICKS: * There are a few parking spots but I suggest calling ahead and taking your order to go! There is a nice park nearby if you feel like eating on the beach. * Carry out bags are 50¢ a piece so if you order more than two meals I'd suggest asking for one of those to bring your meal back.

Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol).
