Right by my boarding gate is this Quizno's at Honolulu Airport. I was not about to get on my flight back to the mainland with some kind of spicy free airline snack mix as a "meal" so I swallowed hard and ponied up $11.49 for an 8 inch Mesquite Chicken on whole wheat bread. What the heck. Might as well make it a combo. Some chips and soda round it out to $15! (Note: airport employees receive a 10% discount.) I had to deduct 1 YELP STAR since the soda machine did not have Powerade like Subway Sandwich does. I refuse to drink soda and water was just not cutting it so I was hoping to get some electrolytes in me. The service was good and I was in and out with my food is a quick amount of time. So yeah, I guess I am a fan. But just not of those jacked-up airport food prices. read more

Great change from the other food establishments here at HNL International Airport. The bread is fresh and when you get it toasted the aroma of the ingredients get your taste buds a watering for that first bite of delight! I know Hawaii is pricey but everywhere I went seemed relatively affordable (at least compared to the SF Bay Area) besides this Quiznos. Unfortunately, if you're here this probably your only option as it's in the airport. The line is soooo slow, so unless you have at least 35 minutes before your flight I wouldn't attempt. The good news is that people who work here are super nice. The (other) bad news is that your sandwich will look and taste like sadness. The (other) good news is that at least you're in Hawaii. I unexpectedly popped my Quiznos cherry in the Honolulu Airport. I was never Yelpcurious about Quiznos, especially since Mr. L said that Quiznos sandwiches typically gave him a headache. We were hard up to get (hoard, really) food for our flight to San Francisco and didn't have time to stop anywhere on the way to the airport. After nixing the pathetic looking pre-made sandwiches at the airport Starbucks, I asked the cool Starbucks employee if there was anywhere we could get a decent sammie. He directed us to Quiznos (thank you, Awesome Starbucks Guy!). I was pleasantly surprised by Quiznos. We got: * Veggie sandwich (guacamole, black olives, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, mozzarella, cheddar, red wine vinaigrette - everything but the kitchen sink) for me. * Classic Italian (ham, salami, pepperoni, capicola, mozzarella, black olives, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, red wine vinaigrette) for Mr. L. I should've known they would toast it, but somehow I was surprised when they did. My veggie sandwich had a lot of flavor, which made sense considering the variety of ingredients. It exceeded my expectations and Mr. L was happy with his Italian sub as well. Mr. L didn't get a headache - excellent. Quiznos is a good, quick option for airport eating on-the-go. When I work closest to this location, I will make that 10 minute walk out to the United terminal for a good sandwich! I ordered a combo meal and the price listed on the menu board seemed reasonable for an airport concession... I'm an employee who is given a 10% discount but I am also a military spouse and eligible for 15% after asking if it was offered. After placing my order the price was $3.00 MORE than what the menu board advertised so I questioned it. If I was getting either discounts then why would I pay more than what's advertised?!! They blamed their system the. Asked if I want to remove the discount so it will be cheaper...yeah seriously?!!! How the heck does removing a discount make it cheaper?! I cared not to ask why they thought that was true because I only had a 30 minute lunch break and 10 minutes to get back to my post. They had to call some manager to refund it and try their darnedest to fix it. I finished my lunch in the midst of the craziness. The manager apologized for the mistake, explained that their machines do not reflect the military discount (yet is offered) and that she found a way to refund my money and charge me about a follower less than what was owed with the military discount. I wonder how many others were cheated and paid more than what they should... Very disappointing. I never went back and I miss their soup and sandwich combos!! read more

Chances are, unless you've got at least one hour before your flight, you're going to miss it eating here!! How can making sandwiches be so confusing? They have confusion down to an art here!! My last official food stop in Hawaii before jetting back to California. Prices here are ridiculously expensive even by airport standards. I bought a steak sandwich, and it was a whopping $12.49, added a bottle of Sprite to help my stomach settle since I tend to get motion sickness on airplanes and my total was $16!! If you are flying out of Honolulu International airport and flying from gates 6, 7, or 8... your food options are either Quinzos or this pizza/bar next door. The sandwich was not all that great... somewhat tasty, but for sure not $12+ tasty. It was actually a bit soggy by the time I got to eat it. Workers were just average... were not terrible but not that friendly either. Be smart and bring food to the airport!! This was by far the most expensive mass produced franchise sandwich I have ever eaten!! Next time, I'll be bringing my own food into the airport. read more

DO NOT PAY with CREDIT CARD. Stopped by the Kiosk in the Commuter terminal on OCT 22 at 8:30 am for a sandwich. The sandwich was fine but the subsequent charges to my credit card were not. On 10/24 two $1 transactions were charged and canceled to JC Pennys. Then on OCT 28 my card was used to make a purchase online for $449 at Stripe. I have not used the card since that morning. Skimming card information is big business and can happen anywhere. be careful! This is the second time I was able to pinpoint the location of where my card was used. A small airport restaurant with limited sandwich options. No opportunity to get anything except maybe 6 different sandwiches or a couple salads. Prices are pretty outrageous but if you want to get something in an airport you need to expect this. Small sub, bag of chips and a water was $22.00... Ugh! Staff was courteous and friendly though which helps. Sandwich was poorly wrapped so when I finally opened it at the gate it ft apart and oil had leaked all through the bag so ended up eating some with a fork and throwing a lot away. Not happy after the price I paid. I travel a lot so you would think I would plan better than choosing to eat at an airport especially from the airport I am departing from... I will grab something prior to my checking in and have a much better meal choice if I stay away from airport food whenever possible. Needless to say I will also save money. read more

Located between Gates 7 and 8 inside Honolulu Airport. I ordered the chicken noodle soup. The taste was awful and really salty. It seems like they used sea water for it. Customer service is really bad due to the fact that the lady that was manning the counter was really rude with the other customers who barely speak English. read more

Worst Quiznos there is.. I would give zero stars if I could. There was a long line and took forever it seemed to even place my order. I ordered a Turkey and Ranch no tomatos and onions. I thought easy order. I remind the guy as he's making no tomatoes or onion still adds them. When I get to the end the lady says no tomatoes no onions and I say yep but it's already on there, the guy put them on before it went through the oven. With a disgusted look says oh.. then simply slides them all off to include all the ranch and cheese, then without asking id I want lettuce she wraps it up and basically tosses the sandwich at me.. Acting like I inconvenienced them for ordering. I know it's fast food and it's fast food in an airport which drives up the price. The line was very long, then when I got to the front they told me that it was going to take 20 minutes to make my sandwich. I know that people really aren't going to be looking at reviews for an airport sandwich place but this was truly bottom of the barrel. I waited but it actually turned out to be more than 20 minutes so I had to just leave or I would have been close to missing my flight. I would rather be hungry than not make the flight! I personally love Quiznos and my wife is not a huge fan but she decided to give in anyway. I got the turkey sub and she got the Italian. The guy making my sub seemed very confused about me wanting things on my sub and stuff i didn't want. Hopefully you have been to a Quiznos before because adjusting from the menu can be very hard for them. The food was good but the up charge for airport food was steep for a Quiznos. Our 2 "meals" (chips and drink added to sandwich) was 31 dollars. Pretty steep for not a lot of food. Either way the food was good so that helps. It's a shame they don't have more options by these gates but this airport in general is lacking a lot of amenities. If you have a long flight, check into Burger King might be a better option read more

Wow for a $15 8" veggie sandwich I was atleast expecting it to be edible. This "veggie guacamole" sandwich is disgusting - the mushrooms were not fresh and their toaster definitely can't be working. This review comes almost 2 months late. But I had to let everyone know my wonderful experience while taking an outgoing evening flight on July 27th. We were about to fly out and I realized we were short on snacks for our 5 kids. We were boarding group 3 and our plane had just began to board only the first group, group 1, which was a massive group. I opted to walk over to see if I could grab something quick on our trip back to the mainland. I asked the 3 men working that night how fast they could make 7 footlong subs. They did not blink and accepted the challenge assuring me it would be ready in less than 10 minutes. Of course I ordered 7 of the same subs but they set up the fastest line ever and had my subs fixed, wrapped along with a smile, just in time for me to walk up the the forming group 3 line. Total prep time, less than 10 minutes!!!!!! Sandwhiches were filling and lasted on the second leg of our trip to Atlanta. Thank you gentlemen!!!!!! Good service is always remembered. read more
