The chicken fingers are extremely bland on their own, but with the cane's sauce, they're delicious. The tenders are crispy and moist, and the fries are great. The texas toast was soft but a tad soggy. Raising Cane's isn't something I would go out of my way for, but it's certainly a good spot for a quick meal (our online order was ready in about 5 min!). If they just salted their tenders and offered more sauce options, this would be a 5 star. I have fond memories of the Charlottesville Raising Canes being the spot to go to "back in my day" so it was cool to hear they were opening up one so close to me. As far as this new location, it is in Seven Corners so traffic can be a little stressful in the area, but once you get there, parking was easy to get. There was a line out the door when I arrived but it was just bad timing on my part cause the line moved super quick with the option to use two kiosks OR order with three different people. There was also a greeter who was helping move the line along. While I knew what I was getting into, it is worth mentioning for newbies that this place ONLY serves chicken tenders. There are no burgers, only tenders. There are no hot dogs, only tenders. Even the "chicken sandwich" is tenders on bun. So best to know that you want chicken tenders when coming here! Because they specialize in one thing, service is quick and food is out to you fresh. Don't forget to ask for extra canes sauce! My friends were all fans of the iced tea, by i prefer lemonade, both worth a try! The food was fine, but kind of expensive for what it is and definitely not the best chicken tenders I've had (off the top of my head, the tenders are much better at nearby Ruthies All Day, Hot and Juicy Crawfish, and Hot Lola's to name a few). This is a new location that has been open for less than a week.the company was founded in Baton Rouge, La, so I expected chicken fingers and fries to have seasoning, sadly this was not the case. The chicken while nicely cooked was bland. The Cane's sauce did have some kick, but was just ok. Fries were hot, fresh, and crispy but not memorable. Absolutely Disgusting. I ordered a Box Combo and a large Dr Pepper for curbside pickup. As I drove away, I took a sip from the drink, and it turned out to be nothing more than brown-tinted water. And not even good-tasting brown-tinted water. However, at that point, I was already on the road and didn't feel like turning around to complain about a fountain drink. I got home a few minutes later and "dug into" my meal. As bad as the drink was, the food was worse. It was cold, soggy, and tasted... off. I ended up throwing most of it away, and was still left me with a stomach ache that lasted for hours. On the plus side, after calling this store, being transferred around for a bit, and sitting on hold for a while, I spoke with someone who offered to refund my money. I guess getting an upset stomach and not being charged anything for it can be considered a good deal. I really like this (fairly new) Canes. I've visited a few times during extremely busy times and my food has come out quickly and the service has been very friendly. Be forewarned though that this is a VERY busy location on weekends, so if you can order ahead or use one of the touchscreens I'd do that instead of waiting in line. As far as the food goes, I've always loved Canes lightly breaded tenders and crinkle fries and their sauce is sooo good. read more

Definitely was very busy since I went opening weekend but I'm hoping the crowds have settled down by now. Was worth the wait. Definitely as I remembered it. The service was pretty fast even for opening weekend. Delicious food. Nothing mind blowing, but definitely towards the top of my fast food pyramid. I would argue I'm as big a fan of Raising Canes as Chick fil A. But raising canes definitely has a limited menu. Sunday October 20, 2024 Went to Raising Cane's for the first time. The Seven Corner's location just opened about 2-3 weeks ago. I do appreciate the minimal offerings they have on their menu. I believe when the restaurant is more focused with their food options, the food usually is better. The restaurant was obviously busy as just opened weeks ago. I ordered the 4 piece combo and substituted the toast for coleslaw. My friend also ordered the same combo but kept the toast. The chicken strips were good and were served hot. Good crunch, juicy and did not taste or feel greasy. Coleslaw was okay, nothing special. The Cane dipping sauce I found to be a bit on the salty side. Now for the crinkle cut French fries, they were way over salted. I found myself trying to wipe away as much of the salt as possible. I don't believe it was just me as my friend found the fries equally salty. I know the staff is still new as they have only been opened for a few weeks but they really should watch out for that. I was thinking about mentioning it to someone behind the counter but they were so busy that I didn't feel at the time it was worth trying to talk to them. I will definitely go back after the crowds die down as I am a fan of chicken fingers and that if the fries are still over salted, I will mention to management. Ridiculous! Our first time trying them out after all the hype. Ordered for curbside pickup. Useless because nobody answers the phone to know you've arrived. It took 20 minutes for someone to bring the order. When that happened, the person handed me the 3 drinks in a carrier with the bottom falling out! I narrowly avoided all three falling in my lap. He said the other person put it together wrong and walked off while I was still trying to manage not spilling them. I don't care how good this chicken is when I taste it. Lunch service definitely needs more staff. There was only 1 person at the register and she kept stopping and walking away to help fill other orders and call names. I was rushed through my order and got dirty looks from another staff member when I asked to speak to the manager. Oh yeah and the manager never came out. My son and his friends - and about 20 others - camped out all night to be among the first hundred, only to have the staff give everyone tickets. Everyone includes those who showed up in the morning and hopped in line. To some, this will sound petty. To me, it's an indication of the level of integrity the owner maintains. My son and his friends thought they had a shot at something and were suckered. They planned this for a week and jumped through several hoops to make it happen. Food was hot and perfectly cooked. Pretty quick, we ate there, and from entry to exit, about 25 minutes. Ambiance, felt frantic inside. I think it's due to the layout of their seating, line que and service que. There's no flow and no space for a line which means waiting customers are crowding the seated customer space. Feels awkward having people crowding over you when you eat. The store was busy and it was well maintained with cleanliness. When we got there, there was a long line, but they have 2 digital order screens. No one was using it, so we went ahead and did, so not much to say on service from that perspective. When calling out orders they were audible and clear which was nice in a crowded place. Was service stellar and memorable, no, but they were all working and ensuring customers got what they needed.
