Stopped in on a Friday around 3:45pm. It was not very busy and the staff was cleaning the dining room. And cleaning it some more! One of the cleanest fast food places I've been to. Also, the staff was very friendly. Also, for whatever reason I think it's a good sign that about half the staff was Filipino seeing as this is a Filipino chain. We tried a 10 piece bucket of spicy chicken with three pies for $25. Also a large order of fries. We liked the chicken and pies a lot! The chicken fry coating is breaded less than Popeyes, KFC or Church's. Good flavor with just a little bit of subtle heat. The pies are exactly like the McDonald's apple pies from back in the day - fried hard, very crispy and a bit salty. We only tried the peach mango and they were really good imo. The fries were decent. Lately I've noticed most fast food places have been struggling with their fries for some reason. They're never piping hot and they lack in flavor. These weren't spectacular but were above average. We haven't tried the gravy yet. They gave us two containers of it! It's supposed to be for dipping the chicken into...? Definitely somewhere I plan on going back to! read more

Jollibee Drove 45 minutes to find out what this place was about. Ordered the combo B which has a good variety of offerings. The fried chicken was good really didn't stand out more than any other fast food fried chicken, was crispy and tender inside, almost reminded me of Churchs chicken. The Spaghetti was sweet and had small bits of hot dogs in it, reminded me of when I use to eat SpaghettiO's and I added hot dogs sliced up. There was a rice noodle dish that was pretty good and different. The most enjoyable thing was the peach mango pie which came in a container similar to McD apple pie. Have to say it was probably the best item that stood out the most. If you go here this is the item to order. There was so much big expectations due to the media and hype, if you go there with big expectations you will be disappointed and especially if you drive 45 minutes. All of my Filipino friends always talk about Jollibee, but I've never actually tried them before. They opened one right down the street from us. We ordered the two piece chicken, with the adobo rice and mashed potatoes. The chicken and rice were really good but the mashed potatoes were really weird to me. I'm sure they put something different in there. There wasn't a wait to order and we got our food very quickly. I'm not sure why people would wait in line for hours, when it basically taste like KFC chicken. I definitely wouldn't have waited hours for that. It was good, but not that good. This restaurant is pretty Good. I had almost everything on the menu and I must say i overall enjoyed it. The Chicken had an excellent crunch and good flavor. The best crunch in the game when it comes to fast food chicken. The yum burger has a different type of swing to it when it comes to flavor. The burger patty is nice and soft and combined with the sauce it kind of remind me of a salisbury steak type of vibe. It's different and worth the try. I love the chicken sandwich. I had the spicy sandwich and although I would not rank it over Popeyes, it has a nice bite and I like the touch of the fresh jalapeño. The fries are straight to the point with a nice crisp texture. Being from CA, we were very excited to have finally have a Jollibee nearby. Those who aren't familiar with Jollibee may not understand the hype, but if you know then you know! We understand that it'll take a while for the lines to die down and know the staff is doing their best. My biggest gripe right now is that in the midst of COVID-19, instead of promoting social distancing yet allowing patrons to support the business, instead they close their drive-thru and aren't taking phone orders, either forcing large groups to congregate inside or turning people away. We love going to Jollibee. Great location in Chandler and it's only 9 minutes from my place! It's a Filipino franchise and the only one located in Arizona. I love how crispy the chicken is every time we've ordered. Usually order the spaghetti and/or palabok with Chickenjoy and it's fresh. Eating Jollibee reminds me of my younger years. From Vegas, Cali, to Philippines the quality and experience from the chain hasn't changed any differently. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Tables are cleaned instantly. I got there excited and then left disappointed. Dining Room is still close. They are short staffed as it said on door note and please be kind to the workers. They are kind of grumpy though but okay. I asked for extra cup of ice ( I am Alaskan and this is a hot day for us. ) Server doesn't seem happy about it but gave me ice. Thank you. My order came out wrong. I was given some sort of brown rice that tasted weird. I asked for double steamed rice for my burger steak. Our spicy chicken sandwich was okay but the fries was room temperature. When is the perfect time to go to Jollibee? Right after you get out of the gym! My babe and I were in the area and had never eaten at a Jollibee. We pulled in to the parking lot and there was a short line outside. We were quite impressed! Maybe there was too much hype so my expectations were much higher. The chicken was not worth the hype. It reminded me of Church's fried chicken. I like church's but there's a whole bunch of them in the states so I guess I wasn't missing anything. The pie was not worth the hype. I have been waiting anxiously to try this place since it opened, but waited until the lines went down n a bit. Today was the day, and I ordered my food and awaited a religious experience which I fully expected to have after all the hype. Unfortunately I soon realized hype was all that it was, as instead of seeing God I felt like I'd been watching a television evangelist giving a sermon before asking me for money as the big guy wanted him to have a new Ferrari so he could spread the word faster. The food quality in this establishment has consistently gone downhill! We've come home a few times only to find out that items in our order were missing. Hot Mango pie was amazing!!! The fried chicken was fresh & in point. The rest of what I had was a blast to the pAst. The spaghetti reminded me of my childhood Saturday afternoons eating Chef Boyardee spaghetti-o's with cut up hot dogs, which I never put in mine. It was super sweet, just like I remembered. I added a heaping tablespoon of more sugar, just to give it that extra kick. That's what this reminded me of. The side of mashed potato gravy to dip in was the cherry on the cake. I grew up in California where Jollibee was quite accessible. After moving to Washington state and being able to go to Seattle for Jollibee made for a familiar place when I was far from home. When I moved to Arizona, I went through great culture shock as there hasn't been an impact of influence in Asian cuisines and restaurants. I'm really hoping this changes the game!!! (and maybe a Red Ribbon Bakery and Seafood City can eventually move in this way too!!) I was determined to come on opening day and let me just say I was so happy I did! My husband and I waited 2 hrs by the time we arrived. The employees and crowd control were amazingly friendly and efficient. It was my husband's first time trying Jollibee and he is hooked! We ordered the Bucket C special which has 2 buckets of 6 pc chicken (total 12pc. We were hoping to get 1 spicy but they were not doing that for the opening), 4 peach mango pies, and 4 sides of rice. Of course, gravy comes with!!! The wait was absolutely worth every second. New customers don't realize how well known Jollibee is. I really hope they will give it a chance. We need variety in AZ cuisine! The facilities is well laid out and seems like it will thrive in the shopping center its in. Plenty of seating, nice and bright. Check it out if you haven't! The burgers are horrible. It's just a Salisbury steak paddy in a hamburger bun. The spaghetti is nasty taste like gas. The only good food is the chicken. It's the best fast chicken in town. It was very busy on a Saturday we had to wait over 30 minutes, and I said no mayo on the burger but they put mayo on it anyways, and I when I returned it they acted snotty about it. 5 stars for the first Jollibee in AZ.. As a San Diego native and fellow Filipino, I was so happy that there was finally one in town. My friend and I came after work for lunch on New Year's Eve and even though the line was long outside, everything was very organized and the entire staff were very friendly. We ordered a few of our favorites to try out including: - Combos with rice, fried chicken and gravy - Jolly Spaghetti - Yumburgers - Peach mango pies - Pineapple juice Everything was delicious and pretty spot on to what we were used to at the other Jollibee locations in San Diego and Las Vegas. Our fave is definitely the fried chicken and peach mango pies. The crisp on the chicken is flavorful and not greasy like most places. Eating it with gravy and rice makes it even better. The pies were flavorful and were even still a little crunchy after heating up the next day (we ordered a ton). I live in the west valley (about an hour away in Peoria) but definitely worth the drive to satisfy a Jollibee craving. I'm looking forward to when the new location will add Spicy Fried Chicken and Halo Halo to their offerings since those are also some of our favorites! read more

We have been here twice. Once in the afternoon and the last time was for breakfast. This is a far drive for us. I am a fan of their garlic rice and spicy fried chicken! They only display their main menu on the screen which makes it a little difficult during breakfast hours. They also do not list their drink options. I had heard a lot about this place, and was excited to try it. I have to say I was not disappointed. Like everyone, I got the Chickenjoy, in a mix of both original and spicy. As for sides, I got the Adobo Rice. The breading was fantastic (I finally understand the meaning of Crispylicious), and the legs in particular were quite tasty. The larger pieces, like the breasts and thighs, were much drier. I didn't notice a particularly strong difference between the spicy and original Chickenjoy. If I'm being perfectly honest, I'd take Popeyes over Jollibee. The Adobo Rice was fine, but nothing to write home about. The Peach Mango Pie was amazing. The empanadas at Taco Bell and the Cherry Pies at McDonald's have nothing on Jollibee. The outside was fried a beautiful gold, and the inside was packed full with the filling. There were no air pockets, and it was perfectly warm. The employee training at this place was phenomenal. There were more smiles and pleasantries than at Chick-fil-A. Someone will pass out paper menus to help you decide what you want while you wait and theyll fill out a order form for you to take to the cashier when you get inside. I ordered the spaghetti and chicken combo. Fried chicken thigh was lightly battered, not oily and dripping. Was cooked fully through, I went to one location in Las Vegas and the chicken was raw inside. Was thinking of a repeat as it's been busy here for the AZ opening. Spaghetti was ok as well. Filipino style is slightly sweeter on the sauce and it has chopped up hotdog/sausage inside with sprinkles of cheese. Got a side of Adobo fried rice. I was disappointed in it. Wasnt anything special and didnt taste like what I'm used to. I wanted to taste the soy sauce vinegar Adobo flavor but instead this was more garlic fried rice with piece of tiny pork Adobo. But low and behold ... it was sAlisbury steak with gravy aNd mushroom ... which we here in the good ole US Of A call hamburger patties in gravy .. and sadly enough that's what they called it too.. but it did have steamed rice that was excellent for a fast food restaurant ! I also tried the deluxe chicken sandwich that was a fried chicken patty with lettuce mayo and tomatoes and special sauce on a bun and it too was great looking on the outside however the chicken lacked seasoning ... I gave three stars ultimately because of the awesome Deliciousness is the Mango Peach fried Pie ... which let's just say and tell the truth and then stay in church .. u can't go wRong with FRY and Pie in tHe same word ... and this pie was the Epiphany of the word ... hot or cold it was sweeeeeetttt!... and earned 3 snaps in a z formation ! As a Filipino woman, I am THRILLED they've finally opened a Jollibee in Arizona, and even better, not too far from me. My mom and I recently braved the crowds since we didn't want to wait until they die down. The wait wasn't too bad - maybe around 20 minutes? The Palabok was the star, in my opinion. I was happy they had lemon juice as a condiment but sad that they did not have fish sauce like many other Jollibees do. The Adobo Rice was tasty, as was the Chickenjoy/Gravy. The only disappointment was the Jolly Spaghetti. This is not like the sweet Filipino Spaghetti they serve at Jollibees in the Philippines or even in California. It's almost like they tried to make it more like Italian style spaghetti to please other peoples' palates? Not a fan. I was skeptical at first on deciding whether or not to come by because the photos from the menu looked very basic. I just couldn't understand why there were still long lines out the door to this place... Finally after a while I decided to scratch this place off and see what the hype is about. To my surprise the food turned out really good. The 6pc bucket of chicken seemed really massive to me and I enjoyed the crispiness of it. I will say that this chicken is one of my new favorites among fast food restaurants that serve fried chicken. The spaghetti was good, nothing too spectacular about it. The Yumburger was simple but great! The mashed potatoes was amazing! I also highly recommend the pineapple quencher and mango peach pie. Don't let the lines discourage you either. I don't know what happened to this place but it is so filthy now with sticky floors and a swarm of flies just literally everywhere! It's so sad. I had friends that used to work here and all left because of poor management. The manager/boss has poor quality treatment of the employees and no integrity which clearly shows how the place is being taken cared of. I wish I can help all the workers that work here for a better opportunity that gives respect to its employees. I'm pretty sure there won't be a bright future for this place. The drive thru was barricaded and I know that's because of short staff. Everything just went downhill. And they don't have halo halo here anymore Corporate should definitely get involved with reviving this business. It's definitely not doing well. Kudos to the employees who endure to stay here and continue working here! So I agree with another review that I read the chicken is similar to churches i ordered B) which comes with: 6 pieces chicken, legs and thighs; and a family size spaghetti (it does have a sweet taste to it as its Filipino); and 3 Mango peach pies (which are similar to the old McDonald's pies on the outside only 1000 times better. It did seem a little overpriced to me ($30 for the food described plus a single drink) it was a large amount of spaghetti though and had to be at least a pound or more of spaghetti. And the pies were so good. I'd probably go back for the pies alone. I'd recommend trying at least once and come up with your own opinion on this one. read more

Very hyped that we finally got a Jollibee in AZ. Only time I am able to enjoy their food is when I either visit back home in the Philippines or go to Vegas. I occasionally visit this location when I visit Phoenix as I live in Tucson. This location is still new as it open before Christmas of 2019. They finally serve spicy chicken, but honestly it isn't spicy whatsoever which is disappointing. Other places, obviously in PH, & Vegas have delicious spicy chicken. I barely saw any red powdering on the chicken itself. Sides are good! Peach Mango Pie continues to warm my heart. Only reason why I do not give it a full five stars is due to their lack of breakfast. Barely any wait in line or for our food, less than ten minutes from arrival to food! Chicken Joy is just that. Chicken joy. It's crispy, yet very tender and juIcy. My GF is Filipino, so she had to have the Palabok Fiesta, gravy is served with everything, and it's really good gravy, you could put it on a flip flop and it would be good. Id give this place 0 star if i could. They deserve ZERO STAR! They take advantage that they are the only jolibee location in Arizona. So what exactly made me say that? 1. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They can care less about you waiting and waiting. I ordered to go food and it took more than an hour. Not a single apology. It happened twice. Never again. 2. FOOD HIT OR MISS! I only like Jollibee because it's just like McDonalds. You know and love the food. It's good and yummy, but the service is terrible. Made a mistake and order too much food (don't know if it's because the name of the items are too similar that they got mad when I ask for something with a similar name) and had to pulled aside to wait. The girl at the window said "please pull to the right" but there is no clear spot or instruction because on the right side near the front are spots that says "drive thru only" so, you could assume that, that is where they want you. Nope. 10 minutes later an employee obviously annoyed walks over looking mad under a mask, gives me my food. I apologize for being in the wrong spot and she says "Yea, you're in the wrong spot but I actually done care enough". Terrible experience but the worse part is I feel bad for the employees who stop caring enough to represent a brand. This is our second time going to particular Jollibee. My three piece chicken was hot fresh and good. My wife ordered chicken fingers and fries, chk fingers luke warm at best, fries cold. Went up to let them know and the server looked at with a blank stare,she finally acknowledged me and she said she would bring me new fries, well she didn't, when I came back to the counter 2 minutes later she didn't realize it was me, and ignored me, I'm like WTF? Finally I talked to a manager who again put down more fries, WOW! Customer service at this place sucks, I've been working in the food industry for over 40 years, and I've never seen such incompetence. Food is good but Horrible service for online ordering. First, the web time is wrong for Arizona online ordering. Second, they have a wear mask sign because they are rightfully concerned about the spread of COVID but the drive through is closed and their online service requires you to go into the restaurant and wait. Figure they would adopt other fast food methods, bringing the food out to limit customers from going into the store. I have used their online ordering system twice, and had to wait over an hour for my food. The time was set to ASAP and I live 20 minutes away and still waited for an hour. When I checked the register, they haven't even seen my order. When I said I wanted to cancel my order, the employee then proceeded to fill my order.
