I stopped by this place back in February of 2020. I ordered the chicken sandwich deluxe, peach mango pie, pineapple drink, spaghetti, fries and the steak and gravy with steamed rice. The spaghetti had little sliced hot dogs in it and cheese on top. That was my favorite. The peach mango pie surprisingly was a good combination. Why does my son love this place? I have no idea. He loves the chicken dippers with gravy and that spaghetti is a weakness. He has had it here three times so far. If he knows we are close, it is his go to/ craving. It's fine. I love him and I give into his temptations. My issues, the food is an acquired taste. I get the gist of it... To each their own. The staff leaves so much to be desired. My son has spilled soda on himself TWICE. Both times, I have alerted staff to said mess but did not stick around to see how it was dealt with. The cups are flimsy. So be careful how you grab them... Maybe it is just him? I make the mistake of letting people go ahead of us. We step off to the side while he goes over the menu, which sucks. It constantly changes and takes a minute to adjust to because he tries to find the best way to order items that he wants because there is not a "side" menu for just dippers or spaghetti. He ends up getting a combo with sides. Less than what he wants because there isn't a clear menu of what he wants to add. The staff isn't be best. Once we were there and had an issue that ended up with a sticky mess in my clean car. Not their problem and my niece paid another $6 for a replacement and me cleaning my car at the tune of $20 the next day. Fine... But laughing in our faces isn't a great way to deal with it. The fact that Jollibee exists in Florida made me drive 3 hours to eat it, and stay in a hotel nearby overnight, just to have it again. Jollibee brings back many memories of my childhood, eating it when I would visit my family in the Philippines, so I was extremely excited to come! Both times coming, I came around lunch time. Jollibee has lots of seating and is decently spacious, although it gets PACKED. During peak times, the wait for food is between 30 minutes to an hour. Both times, we were told our wait would be 30 mins but the wait was closer to 50-55 mins- so consider yourself warned. I've never had to wait for food for so long before, but honestly, it was so worth it. Their famous fried chicken "ChickenJoy" is to die for- perfectly crispy and wonderfully seasoned. It can come as a 6 piece bucket (that you can ask for all legs or thighs at no charge) by itself or as a family pack with either Palabok (pancit with pork and shrimp over rice noodles) or spaghetti. The palabok was okay, good flavor but a little mushy for my taste. The spaghetti is my favorite thing off the entire menu. It's a tad on the sweeter side, but it's so delicious, I could eat it all day. Their menu isn't too extensive- it only somewhat looks extensive because there are many different combinations you can get between the ChickenJoy, Palabok, and spaghetti. Aside from those, they have fries and a regular cheeseburger (which is just okay... go for what they're famous for.) and also offer a burger with pineapple. They also sell ice cream, in a cone, as a sundae, or as a Filipino favorite, Halo Halo (shaved ice, evaporated milk, Ube ice cream, leche flan, sweet beans). OH before I forget! Whatever you do, you NEED to try a peach mango pie. Just do it. Trust me. It's a fried pie kind of like at McDonalds, but nothing beats the oozing peach mango filling when you bite into it. It was a great experience to come here and taste amazing food from my childhood. Am I thrilled about the wait time? Not at all. Would I wait another 50 minutes again for it? ...yup. read more

This was my first time trying a Jollibee. I went simple and got the first item on the menu, an original chicken sandwich. I will be returning. Chicken was moist, the breading was flavorful and crunchy. Bun was freshly steamed it seemed. Atmosphere was friendly, fun and welcoming. Dining area was blocked off for COVID. This is my second time here. I waited for my second time before writing a review so they had a chance to fix few flaws. They are still here. The outside and inside are still clean and new. The workers work hard to keep every table clean as soon as it is available. You order at the cashier when entering. You fill your own drinks from the soda fountain unless you get a icee or a lemonade. You have to pick up your own order when it is ready. The major flaws is they do not always have all beverage options in stock and the food is frozen pre-processed food. Nothing has a fresh feel or taste. Both sandwiches we got this time were dry and tough. At one point I was going to ask for a knife to cut through it. We will not be coming back here for a long time. I've been dying to go to Jollibee since it's opening and I finally got the chance when passing through Jacksonville during a road trip. I loved it so much that I actually went back a 2nd time coming back to Orlando. This location is very spacious, lot of seating available but it still gets packed! The first time I went was at 8am and it was nearly empty, but when I went again later around 5pm, the place was full! They also have a drive-thru if you don't want to deal with the large crowds inside. Onto the food, the highlights for me were: -Peach Mango Pie (super crispy and delicious, I need like..10 of them) -ChickenJoy meal w/ rice & gravy -Halo Halo dessert I also tried the Palabok and their spaghetti, but can't say I was a huge fan of either. The spaghetti is more on the sweeter side and it was still good but not mind-blowing. The Palabok were pancit noodles with pork and shrimp, but it was a little too mushy for my liking. I like to try foods from all over the world and after hearing that this is a fast food location from Manila, I knew I wanted to give it a try. Being that it was fast food, my kids bought into the program too. There was one problem, after it opened there were constant long lines out the door. Not to worry, I can wait......, When the lines died down, I popped in one day and bought just about everything on the menu. Here are the overall observations: Spaghetti - yes, fast food spaghetti that is well done and sweet. Yes, I said sweet. A little unusual, but if you like you pasta dishes sweet, you found your groove. Burgers - good, really good, but different. Nice savory flavor, really nice textures (nothing soggy or wilted) and good aftertaste. Fried Chicken - hands down the best thing on the menu, served with a rich gravy that will remind you of Thanksgiving. Jollibee has much more sentiment to me than just a fast food restaurant. Growing up in the Philippines, I had Jollibee almost every day. Once we moved to the States, I would only get to eat it on rare occasions such as traveling to a state with a Jollibee branch or when we go back home to the Philippines. So once I heard that a branch would be opening in Jacksonville, I was over the moon. Understandably, the first few weeks it opened, the line was insanely long. Even Filipinos from out-of-state would make a pilgrimage to Jollibee. It was that serious. There's no longer a line out the door to order your food, but once you place the order, it still takes at least 30 minutes to receive your food. Clearly, there is a huge demand for food here, which should prompt the management to either hire more workers or make preparations far in advance for the amount of food being served. With regards to the food, the Chickenjoy gravy, the Jolly spaghetti, and the peach mango pie, are all reminiscent of the Philippines. The chicken is not as juicy and flavorful as the Philippines, but I'll let that slide. Honestly, most of the issues at this location are just time-management based. read more

There was so much hype and anticipation for the grand opening of Jollibee. I think the excitement was rightfully so because I can't believe Jollibee would make its way to Jacksonville, of all cities! There are outdoor seating that lines the restaurant. I recommend previewing the menu before you make a visit, if it's your first time, because there are a bleep-ton of items to pick from. The joy of jollibee lies within the fact that you can have crispy fried chicken (available both spicy and non-spicy) with rice (totally Asian thing), or with sweet spaghetti, ladened with hot dog slices. But wait, there's more, people! You can have pineapple juice, peach-mango pie, and ube or buko pandan slushee boba. Oh me, oh my! The fried chicken is a killer! I love it!! Peach-mango pie is very similar to McD's pie in form; however, it's crispier. The ube boba is good, but the ube (purple yam) flavor isn't as rich as I would have liked. In addition, to their iconic wings and sweet spaghetti, they do offer meatloaf and meatloaf burgers. Their breakfast menu include standard breakfast goodies, with rice! First timer here! So I got the 3pcs Cjoy w/2 sides and a peach mango pie. The wait time was a little more than average mind you the couple of people ahead of me ordered quite a bit. The 2 pieces of chicken I got were spicy and definitely juicy as they state, it was good but lacking a little in spices but the juiciness makes up for it. The mash potatoes were pretty bland and the gravy not so full of flavor although slightly thick you can tell it was also watery and just some pepper in it. The buttered corn well good but next time I will ask to cut back on the butter, was good but I'm not a lot of butter on everything type of person. Finally the peach mango pie! *sigh* I saw the hoopla surrounding this restaurant when it first opened. I even drove past it about a week after it opened and saw the GINORMOUS line of people waiting to get in. So imagine my disappointment in my dining experience when I finally got to try Jollibee. Hubby and I trekked from Oakleaf to try Jollibee one evening. Now, I will be forthright and state we arrived at 8:30 pm and they close at 9. We arrived and the cashier greeted us and was very friendly. We looked at the menu, my husband is a fried chicken aficionado, so I knew what he was going to get. I tried the fried chicken and the Fiesta noodles. The dining area was in complete disarray and they don't have napkins out to where you can get them yourself. We waited for 17 minutes to get our food, and it wasn't hot. That aside, the food was ok. I'm wasn't thrilled by the Fiesta Noodles and the chicken was okayyyy. I may try Jollibee again if I'm headed to the beach, but I won't head that way for especially for them. So two hours later and we finally made it to the ordering counter. Was it worth the wait? Yes! Especially since this seemed to bring back childhood memories for my husband from when he would visit the Philippines. The family meals are a really good option and they save you about two bucks instead of buying those things a la carte. The Chicken joy was good. What made it good you ask? Well let's start off with the fact that the skin is perfectly crispy! The chicken skin is just enough batter crisp that it's not too much. The chicken was served pipping hot and was really good and juicy. They serve the buckets with a side of gravy and even though the gravy they serve is pretty standard, it seems to compliment the chicken very well. I know i usually don't dio my chicken in gravy but you just have to try it. The spaghetti they serve is sweet. It's good. It has what seems to be ham bits? And for sure hot dogs! The serving of spaghetti was very generous for both the family size and the kids size. I will definitely be getting it again. The peach mango pie was full of filling! I meant to only eat half the pie but by the time I realized I didn't want anymore, well let's just say I had already eaten the whole thing. It was just that good. If you can get a chance to eat it with their soft serve ice cream then do it because the hot pie and cold ice cream paired very well together. Their vanilla ice cream has something addicting about it. It was like a combination of Chick-fil-A's ice cream cone and burger kings vanilla ice cream. Just get it, it's only $1 and it was good with the pie. Last but not least the pineapple juice is good. It tastes refreshing and sweet. Definitely a good thirst quencher. This is heaven on a tray. So good. Excellent choices. Line was very short right before Sunday noon. This location has friendly service. We were greeted as we came in the store. The chicken was hot and juicy; I requested four legs and two thighs and was not disappointed at all. If you can get there before the church crowd on Sunday, they are more than prepared for whatever you throw at them. Highly motivated staff and most with a very friendly disposition. So if this is what Filipino fast-food is like, I can deal! My favorite was the Signature ChickenJoy. It's delicately breaded to be "crispylicious" on the outside and "juicylicious" inside. I couldn't have described it better. It was just that and had great flavor! Another signature Jollibee dish I tried was the Jolly Spaghetti. Now you may be thinking, wait a second, fried chicken and spaghetti? I thought the same thing but apparently people LOVE IT, it's a traditional Filipino dish! You learn something new everyday. They use a special sweet-style sauce, loaded with chunky slices of ham, ground meat, and hotdogs. I'm not a huge spaghetti fan (and I'm not too keen on hotdogs either) so this wasn't the dish for me but I can imagine lots of kids and "kids at heart" would fancy it very much! The chicken alone, however, will have me back for more! I got it with a side of rice and gravy and it was an unexpected compliment to the chicken. The Peach Mango Pie is made with real Phillippine sweet mangoes and a flaky brown crust. I was told I absolutely had to try it. So I did but I have to say, I have a strong affinity for apple hand pies so I wasn't all gaga for it. However, it is better than any fast food hand pie, I've ever had. It was good, it was sweet, and if you love mangoes, you'll absolutely love this pie! Overall, I liked Jollibee! Not only was the food good but the service was wonderful! The employees were very nice and accommodating and it seems like a really happy place to be...I guess that's why it's called "Jolli"bee! First time to go in this branch. We ordered the 6pack ube pie. My husband loves ube and this is his first time to try this. He loved it and even after two days the pie is still crunchy. I gotta say, I just don't get it. One bite of the burger and my husband and I were transported back to our high school cafeteria. So so bad. Then I took a bite of my palabok fiesta and immediately felt sick. The meat looked grey and after three bites, I had to throw it out. The ube cooler was okay (to wash the palabok flavor out of my mouth), but it doesn't hold a candle to the many better boba tea places in the area. You know the love is real for this place when you decide to drive 5 hours out of the way to Jacksonville from Miami, and convince two of your friends that equally love this place just as much as you do, to come along. Even when we arrived, we still had to wait an hour an half to order because the line was so long (on a Saturday afternoon), since it only opened up about a week ago from the time that we visited. But it's oh so worth the wait, trust me! This is a fast food restaurant, so if it's you're first time coming here, don't expect gourmet Filipino food. I would compare it to Mcdonalds, but with a Filipino twist, especially because of the different food items on the menu. My absolute go-to's: - 1 piece chicken joy (with the gravy) - 1 jolly spaghetti (Filipino style, so it's sweeter and with pieces of hotdogs) - 1 buko pandan pearl cooler (a very filling and delicious boba drink) - 1,453 peach mangoes pies! (Just kidding, I'll probably eat 2, but THEY'RE SO FREAKIN GOOD!) I literally get this same exact order everytime I go to Jollibee, mostly because there are always long spans of time in between each visit for me, but everytime I ordered it, it's like having it all over again for the first time, it's amazing! If my absolute go-to's aren't your thing they also serve burgers, cheeseburgers, french fries, mashed potatoes, pancit palabok (delicious noodle dish), burger steak, halo halo (Filipino dessert), and sundaes from their lunch menu. They also have a breakfast menu, and let me tell you their garlic fried rice is INCREDIBLE! The breakfast menu is catered more towards a Filipino style breakfast, usually consisting of rice, any type of meat (pork, beef, or fish), and a cooked egg. And if you're looking for bigger portions, they sell family pack and party pack versions of the jolly spaghetti and pancit palabok and a 6 piece bucket of chicken joy. Can't forget about the service, the service is always on point as well, not just here but at any Jollibee establishment. They are always polite and will always greet you as ma'am or sir at the cash register. The only downside, at least as of now, is that there was a $50 cap per person on how much you could order. My friends and I were pretty upset, especially since we drove so far, because we were willing to buy a $100 worth of food! But I'm pretty sure it has to do with being able to equally serve everyone, since the demand is so high right now. Hopefully they'll change that once the hype dies down a bit. Even with that set back, Jollibee has a special place in my heart, and now since there's one finally in Florida, I'm gonna be finding myself taking a lot more road trips to Jacksonville hehe. read more

It could be the nostalgia of being part Filipino that causes these warm and fuzzy feelings... or perhaps it's that oh so yummy mango peach pie in my tummy! Either way, I'm going to be a regular at this place (pssst... Yelp said so already). My first visit during the grand opening was well worth the 3 hour wait in line. I did venture back once the lines had gone down a bit. I recommend the Pancit Palabok if you're looking for a true taste of some Filipino cuisine. The chicken is good too. I will admit it's pretty comparable to some other chicken joints, but that doesn't make it any less tasty. The boba coolers are sweet and refreshing, butthe pineapple juice is the real winner in the beverage category. For dessert I'd definitely recommend the Peach Mango Pie. The food was delicious. The place was clean and bright. I really appreciate all the staff who took my son's allergies seriously. It's definitely packed here which is not unexpected from the first Jollibee in Florida. The line is out the door Saturday at a 5PM and customers get really aggressive with finding tables. In the face of this chaos, however, the workers are very calm and friendly. The system put into place of distributing mini menus and taking orders from hungry customers outside is very efficient and helps speed up the ordering process. This is definitely the most busy but friendliest Jollibee's I've ever been to. The food was great and similar to others in the franchise. I love getting the pineapple juice rather than a soda with my meal and my go-to order is the spaghetti with one piece chicken joy since I don't have to choose between my top two items on the menu! Our orders actually came out very quickly much to our surprise. One of my only disappointments about the food was that the menu was missing some of my favorite items such as the Halo Halo and the sliders. I would recommend coming to this Jollibee's in a month or two to avoid to large crowds and experience a menu with more options. All in all, a really nice start to a Jollibee's. Coming here can be hectic since it is very busy but the service in this place makes up for it. read more

Love love love that peach mango pie. And I don't even like pie! I've stopped by several time to just get their pie, it tastes just like a peach and mango combination. The crust is absolutely my favorite. I've tried the spaghetti, palabok, and spicy chicken. All of which is really good and unique in their own ways. My second favorite is the palabok. There's a lot going on in that dish but it's perfect after it's well mixed. Their pineapple drink is also really good. It's subtle and not too overpowering. The chicken is extremely tender. The prices are okay. I don't know how their priced in other states but it's reasonably okay. The service is always on point. They forgot the pie once and all we had to do was call and give them a heads up. The location is good, and this place is always crowded. I took some time to check this place out, but despite all the hype, I was not impressed. The place looked nice and clean, the service was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The environment was great. The food though wasn't all that in my opinion. Gave it a try, but the quality wasn't the best. It wasn't nasty, but not worth what I paid for it and the ingredients seemed very cheap and generic. I love Filipino food, but I'll stick to the food the Filipino folks at my church make. Tried the halo halo for dessert and didn't like it for the most. The ice cream and the flan were good, but everything else was too much. Not holding that against Jollibee. I tried halo halo at another restaurant and the mix of ingredients just didn't please my taste buds. read more

Due to covid we order our food through the drive thru,yesterday they forgot to give us gravy and ketchups which we asked beforehand . Today is worst we asked for spaghetti and we only discovered they gave us Palabok when we were already 10 minutes away from Jollibee. We headed back to the drive thru and the guy asked for the Palabok. We showed the receipt and the Palabok. He asked the Palabok back! like wtf why would you ask it back especially we already had contact with. What if they do the same thing to other people especially the ones with covid, this is very alarming for us. read more
