I stopped by on July 9, 2026, around 1:30 a.m., and I have to say the customer service was outstanding. Every single employee I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I didn't order anything on this visit, but the last few times I've been to Whataburger, I've come to this location. I ordered two Big Ranch Wraps, and they were made to perfection. The amount of ranch was just right, the tortilla was grilled and toasted perfectly, the cheese was melted just right--everything was fresh and tasted amazing. It's hard to put into words how consistently good they've been. What really stands out, though, is the overnight crew. Quick lunch break to the Whataburger on Normandy Blvd and had a great experience. The food was delicious, as always, with my burger fresh and hot, we decided on the 10 pack Burger Box which allowed us all the option of adding lettuce, tomatoes, onions or pickles to our hamburgers. The staff were friendly and efficient, getting my order out quickly even during a busy time. The location was clean and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is that the walk up line was a bit slow, but it's a minor issue given the quality of the food and service. This is one of the worst Whataburger's in Jacksonville. If you can avoid this one. The staff is incredibly rude and act like you're doing them a disservice for ordering. Please bring a Whataburger to Longwood! I have to admit we went to Wendy's first because we don't have a Whataburger and I usually love a baked potato and chili for my gluten allergy. The only "beef" I had with them, was the fact that the person on the register didn't know what was good for a gluten allergy. But, hey, they HAD someone on the register and the inside was very clean. Will, the manager, came over and told me about my options. Then he alerted everyone on the line. The sweet cashier, hand delivered a receipt with my allergy written on it. They gave my a hamburger platter with lettuce tomato and pickles. I could even have the fries because they are fried separately. Usually Will said they wipe down the counter etc but he made my meal separate and he got fresh condiments/ veggies from the back. Stopped here to carry out during a road trip of ours. Good food, friendly staff. Food took a bit to come out, but everything was popping hot, fresh, and our entire order correct. Tables and booths very clean; floor, however, felt very, very sticky at parts. Grossed us out a bit. Such a shame because the tables were spotless. All in all, a good fast food experience. While taking a day trip to Jacksonville we stopped by here for lunch. We haven't had Whataburger in years since they took it out of Orlando and we really loved it back then. I knew that after so long it probably wasn't going to live up to the hype and unfortunately it didn't. I got the Bacon Whataburger, but the bacon was a little too tough for my liking. I ended up taking it out to just to finish the rest of my burger. The fries were good and the onion rings were tasty, but overall it wasn't anything too special. Now, I will give it to them for their service. The young lady at the counter gave recommendations, let us taste the sauce that goes on the melt before we ordered it and they brought the food out to us with additional condiments and everything. We eat here a lot being on the way home from work. And it's fast. This place for the most part is clean. The crew depends on the manager on duty if they are good or bad -why I'm giving them only 3 stars.. The food is your typical fast food pick the number you may like. I had the BBQ chicken tender sandwich. And I was not empress with it much but I feel you need to use your own bbq sauce they don't it taste like a cheap store bought. I love the tea here it always taste fresh to me. I recommend Whataburger if you need a quick quite place to eat where you're not bothered. read more

After a long flight back from Texas, we decided to swing thru the drive-thru for some food. It was about 10pm on a Friday night. Waited in line for 32 minutes. We ordered 2 meals and an apple pie. One of the orders was wrong and they forgot my apple pie. I just don't understand why. I never received an apology for the delay nor a thank you at the window. I went to the Whataburger on Beach Blvd many, many years ago and while it was ok, I wasn't all that impressed. Seemed to me at the time it was just average - but I liked the concept. Fast forward to now - I have passed this one on Normandy weekly and decided to try the franchise again. I just ordered a la carte, off the menu, one burger with the fixings of my choosing, along with fries and a drink. When I arrived home, about 10 minutes later, the burger was still almost too hot to eat, so I nibbled on the fries. They were really good - but unfortunately, once they cooled down, they were just average. The burger on the other hand, was outstanding. I know the term "steak-burger" is rather over-used, but that was the first thought I had after I tasted it. It seriously had a delicious grilled chopped steak taste and not the average ground beef one. All the fixings were fresh and generous and the bun was definitely high quality. I truly enjoyed every bite of that hamburger. I cannot imagine how anyone could pass up this place and go to a McD or BK after trying one of these. The Whataburger price is comparable to the other's "higher end" burgers, but the quality far surpasses them. As the Terminator said, I will be back. ;-) read more

They were nice about it and fixed it but our online order did not include any of the sauces we ordered, one of the pies, or napkins. You just can't go wrong with Whataburger. I have had them throughout the country and nothing beats a hot and fresh patty melt! I was going to give this place a four tat because of the customer service, or lack there of by the lady who took our order, but I was extremely impressed at the fact they brought our food to the table with a mobile condiment container and the girl that brought the food had the biggest smile on her face. She was happy to be there. I also noticed how clean the place was. Not only where they cleaning the bathrooms which were already clean beforehand, but the manager even stepped out to inspect it and make sure they were done properly. At least they are consistent. My burger is never hot. I specifically ask for a hot burger and explain to them that I never get a hot burger unless I have a survey. Somehow I have a survey and I still don't have a hot burger. I've been going to that same Whataburger since 2013 (over 10 years) when I moved just around the corner. You can literally see my condo if you look out the drive-through window at Whataburger. It's across the street and across the small pond to my condo. It's at Phillips Highway and Butler. I touch the burger as soon as it's handed to me and it's always room temperature, never hot or warm. I always have to take it home and put it in a microwave. Lettuce and all. That is so sad. She had trouble taking 2 burger order and 2 drinks. Julie asked for no mayo on her sandwich. She said it doesn't come with mayo. Julie said the sign behind you says it does. I asked for the burger the way it comes, but add mustard. She rang it up add mayo. I ordered a large drink. Filled my dreams no and sat down to put the lid on it and she had given me a medium.
