I saw that the remodel of PDQ into Saucy by KFC at Saint John's Town Center was finally open. I'm not a big fan of KFC but thought we would give it a try. They focus on chicken tenders which they call tendies. They have about 20 sauces you can try. They served the tenders, sammies, Chick'ito (tacos), a burrito and salads. I wasn't excited about another chicken tenders place and more on the way. This is much better than your standard KFC. The strips are nice size and they offer about 20 different sauces. The staff is very friendly and it's new and clean inside. There is also outdoor seating in case you bring the dog. What we had: 4 Tendie Combo - I had the Thai sweet & spices sauce and the Creole honey mustard. The tenders were perfectly cooked and tender. The crinkle cut fries were crisp - just like I like them. The sauces were perfect. 2 Chick'ito Combo - my friend had one with buffalo sauce and another with the chimichurri ranch. He said both were very good and he got Jalepebo ranch for dipping the fries. We will be back to try some of the other offerings. Next up will be the burrito for me. read more

I can't believe we lost a PDQ for this place. The tenders are puny, overly salted. The sauces are generic and nothing to brag about. The menu in itself nickel and dimes you for everything a kids meal cannot come with fries without a up charge same for the drink as well. The dining area is obnoxious as well gutted what was a spacious place and made it feel smaller. The only thing this place has going for it is the service, polite and quick but everything else is a fail. read more

The first sign that a chicken tender place isn't gonna be good is their honey mustard. For a place calling itself Saucy's, this is an epic fail. People want real (yellow) honey mustard, not creole honey mustard. That stuff tastes like it has a little gasoline in it. Fries were good and tenders were decent but I won't go back without a decent sauce. Also, got their pitiful dessert, Puffies or something like that, tasted like communion bread in powdered sugar and it didn't get very puffy. 1" x 1" squares of tough bread that looked like it was supposed to rise and didn't. A lot better options out there. If you get real honey mustard, shoot me a message. I might consider going back! read more

I visited Saucy twice and with the first visit, I was on the fence regarding taste of their "tendies". So I gave them another chance and realized that the taste was just rebranded original tenders from KFC! Their chicken was fresh, moist and fried just right. I ordered the 3-piece tendie combo so I received a drink and some well seasoned fries. There were 11 sauces to choose from and I was able to pick two. Unfortunately I couldn't grade their customer service at all, as I was asked to place my order on one of three kiosks, so interaction was minimal. The atmosphere was bright and clean, with the color pink and red dominating the decor. I'll definitely return to try out a few other different sauces, as that's what gives the chicken an extra "oomph"! read more

Saucy by KFC was pretty alright. Very dope ambiance. I can't say much about the customer service because I didn't really have to interact with anyone for real. It was a bit slow but most fast food is slow lol so that wasn't a big deal. Overall if I was in the area and just wanted to have some chicken tenders and sauce I would go back. read more

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. The tendies were SO good and the price is great for the amount of food you get. Every sauce we had was delicious. The puffies with caramel were delicious as well. The drinks were a little sweet, we may pass on those next time but all in all, 10/10. The service was great and I loved the pink vibe. This new restaurant affiliated with KFC is all about chicken tenders (maybe too much). We tried two saucy chick'itos --small tacos with tenders, lettuce, cheese and sauce in a flour tortilla. For one the sauce was Korean sweet heat and the other salsa ranchero. There was legit heat in the Korean taco. We also got a spicy Jalapeño pesto ranch sauce for two more tenders that was pleasantly green but otherwise unmemorable. I would've liked to get a full-size chicken sandwich but didn't see one on the menu. The website says they sell sauced Brussels sprouts bites, which I overlooked at the ordering kiosk customers are encouraged to use. That's the main thing tempting me to return. read more

This place is straight garbage. I had high hopes since it replaced one of my favorites PDQ. McDonald's actually has better quality. The breading is bland, chicken is stringy, fries are boring and the beignets taste stale. Saucy will be closed in a few months. read more

Pretty good! I would say it's definitely better than KFC and PDQ. The chicken is tender, not overly seasoned, and the fries were crispy. The price is good, and the staff was friendly. Overall i had a great time, would recommend. read more

This was a real step down from PDQ. The chicken did not taste good, and the menu was too limited. The seating was downsized. The only favorable change were the additional sauces. The homemade lemonade was swapped out for a peach mango lemonade. Only tenders and no nuggets.. I will not be returning. A real disappointment. No more shakes. read more

Wow, pretty darn good. Place is very bright, pink and orange and great music too. The food was a pleasant surprise. Very tasty hot tenders and I tried some great sauces. Creole honey mustard was by far my favorite. Tasty. Very fast and they bring your food to you, check on you like a full service restaurant, fill your drinks, clean your dirty plates and even get you a Togo box! wow! We loved it. Tenders are plain.. You choose the sauce, which 90% or more is made with Corn Syrup and other things not great for you. They are not "Sauced", just plain tenders you dip. Is great if you like plain, boring, not crunchy tenders. Unfortunately this Saucy replaced PDQ Chicken, which had great dipped tenders. Doesnt make sense why they sold to KFC for a less mediocre chicken "tendi" as they call it... blah. Wish I liked it. Is very convenient to the office. :( read more

Our first visit to Saucy. The chicken tenders were good, but we did not care for the sauces. We tried three different sauces. We enjoy a traditional buffalo, ranch buffalo or honey mustard which we're not available. There did not appear to be any grilled options. Fries were good and well seasoned. read more

horrible place, of course it's run by kfc, we went thru the drive thru and nobody was inside and nobody was in the drive thru, multiple people were working after we ordered just 5 tenders and then when we got to the window they said to pull out to the parking lot and it took 20 minutes, 20 minutes with nobody in sights getting food, everyone working just doing whatever they want. read more

Food is exactly as advertised and the new ambience of the restaurant is becoming. Hot and ready and the staff is willing to help if any questions arise. I appreciate the flavors and a new look at the KFC name is a breath of fresh air. Will come again!! read more

I have thus far resisted visiting here since I'm still salty PDQ is no longer at this location Well, I was pleasantly surprised! Don't get me wrong, I still prefer PDQ and I haven't come to terms just yet with the Saucy "lingo" but hey, good food can help sway me. We ordered the 6 tender combo and shared it. Plenty of food for the both of us! We tried the ranch, saucy and bbq sauces. All were good. The fries were hot, crisp and seasoned heavily with salt and pepper. They were skinny and super crinkly, very fun fries that made me smile. Tenders were hot and crisp and held up well to dipping. Taste was great but I still prefer PDQ, sorry but they set the bar high. I wish they had fresh lemonade which would have made my Arnold Palmer tastier, but it wasn't bad. Overall, fast food, fresh and hot and tasty. Can't ask for much more. Oh, the best surprise of all was their super generous military/first responder discount. Be sure to ask for that. I'll be back! read more
