Biscuits 2pcs, chickenjoy, chicken tenders, kbbq chicken, kbbq chicken sandwich
Asena E.

It was busier than expected inside on a Sunday afternoon. They accidentally got our order wrong and once we noticed and corrected them they have us a bunch of other food as well on the house which was super nice. The table we were at was a little messy so we wiped it off. My main focus and OG order was the KBBQ chicken sandwich. That sauce was divine. A little more cilantro than I like and I'm also just not a big cilantro fan in the first place ahaha. My side was the adobo rice which I thought was okay. My boyfriend ordered biscuits as his side. I'm usually a hater of biscuits but these were so YUM. The regular chicken tenders weren't anything special but still good. He also got ube pie as a dessert which I love how it was fried and the filling wasn't too sweet. Pretty pleasant taste. Overall it wasn't anything impressive for me but it was a fun experience.

What a fun experience. Wanted to try this new chicken place that graced this neighborhood. To my surprise I learned that Jolibee originated in Manila Philippines. I was greeted with smiles and great attitudes. I order the 3 piece fried chicken with a biscuit. I also ordered the spaghetti. Oh how could I forget the Cheeseburger lol The food is yummy!!! For $30 I received a good amount of food. The atmosphere is inviting. It was very clean inside and out. Ample parking. Very good location and easy to spot from Rainier Ave.

Katseye meal was fire! Very well made. Spicy, sweet, tangy, garlicky, sticky and still crunchy with all that sauce! This place is very busy, be patient and kind . Try it for sure!

My first time ever trying Jollibee! Expectations were high and they did not disappoint here. This location is so much less crowded than the one down in Tukwila - there always seems to be at least an hour long line there. We came around 6pm on a Saturday and from ordering to getting our food it only took around 5 minutes. We got the combo with the 6pc chicken and chose spaghetti as both of our sides. For the chicken we chose a mix of spicy and original - the spicy is SPICY so beware! I don't have too high of a spice tolerance and this one definitely hit it. The flavor was absolutely delicious though, and the chicken was crispy crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The original was also good, but not as seasoned so I definitely preferred the spicy. The spaghetti was genuinely really good - slightly sweet and savory and honestly kind of addicting. I really liked the flavor combo. Of course we had to end with the peach mango pie for dessert. It was surprisingly so good, maybe even better than the McDonalds apple pie. Fried to crispy perfection, and such good peach and mango flavor. I would definitely get Jollibee again! Such yummy Filipino fast food.

Edit to my earlier post: there are 6pc, 10pc, and 12.pc Chickenjoy buckets available here (6/30/24). The rest of my previous Yelp post stands.

Nice to have a Jollibee further up north! I personally don't think the fried chicken is anything spectacular but the spaghetti is phenomenal. I acknowledge the chicken is juicy and tender plus the gravy adds more flavor, but lots of chicken is similar. The spaghetti however, uses banana ketchup and hot dogs for a sweeter and more unique flavor. Interior is fairly clean and there's restrooms available with a passkey. Ample parking because it's in a shared plaza. Among 6 of us we split a Bucket C and Bucket D (22 pieces of chicken plus sides). Skip the fries, they're mid and not salted well. Get sides of spaghetti and mashed potatoes for the gravy. Mac N Cheese is not bad and worth getting but honestly the previously mentioned sides are better.

Quick and fast fried chicken. Never had adobo rice but was good. Spaghetti is different but enjoyable. Restaurant clean and well staffed. One piece of chicken was raw.

My friends got the Wild West and Yakuza Fries. Wild West was meh, Yakuza fries had a lot of the sweet chili sauce which felt a little sickening after awhile. The Sultan Fries also seemed to have a bit of that sweetness at the bottom which seemed odd to me. There were also additional sauces on the table (ketchup, ranch, and honey mustard that they call Smexy Mustard). I liked the Smexy Mustard. I think a way to improve would be to fry the fries (and breaded shrimp in the Yakuza fries) a little longer so they're crispier and can hold the weight of the sauces. The really good item though is their fried chicken. I would recommend that over the fries. Get their fried chicken!! There's a parking lot across the street. Service was very nice; seems to be run by a couple of nice young guys. The place was pretty clean with the exception of some flies that circled the air. My friend accidentally sat on a fly too.

Everyone I saw walk out, had that white bag in hand which indicated they were coming out with hot food. Inside it's your typical gas station setting and the food is up front by the cashier. You get in line to go to the cashier and order there. We ordered wing, thigh and leg. And we also ordered two pieces of catfish and 1/2 lb of jojos. I was upset about the chicken. Every single person that gassed this place up has never had good fried chicken in their life. It lacked seasoning and was soooooo dry. Literally choking down bites of a chicken leg to go down. Thank goodness I purchased an ice tea to drink, or I would have been in serious trouble. The thigh was just just as dry. For dark meat to be this dry, I couldn't even begin to comprehend how overcooked it was. As dry as it was - you would expect it to be burnt on the outside. But the saving grace was the catfish. For the price point, it delivered on all expectations. On our visit it was $8.99/lb. The catfish was everything the chicken was not. It was hot, fresh, flaky and seasoned so well. We would definitely come back for the catfish. But that's it. Even the jojos were subpar. They sell little containers of bbq sauce and ranch for $0.50 each but they should only be $.10. They hardly have any sauce on the inside. So even though the chicken is like a negative two, the fried catfish delivered above our expectations so I'll give it a three overall. To Note: we ate our food immediately in the car in the parking lot.

On a visit to Seattle Washington, I acquired an AirBNB in Rainier Beach neighborhood. I found this…read moregem of a restaurant. This restaurant location has been in operation for 11 years, a dream of retired NBA and local Rainier Beach native Nate Robinson, the restaurant originally was "Nate's Wings and Waffles" to provide memorable comfort food to a diverse community. The name has changed to reflect the current ownership and operation by Nate's sister Chelle and boyfriend Drae. I was drawn to the restaurant because I was looking for a traditional breakfast spot, but was challenged to find one in the area. Drae's Lake Route exceeded my expectations. It was clear that this is a destination for locals and by the steady flow of patrons this is the place to be. Good food made to order, dine-in or take out, plus choices of alcoholic or non-alcoholic speciality drinks to round out your meal. I chose the Deluxe breakfast, which comes with 3 meats (choice of bacon, pork link sausage and turkey sausage). I chose 2 thick sliced bacon strips and 1 pork link with 3 eggs over medium and (choice of cubed potatoes or grits) I chose the cubed potatoes with a buttered English muffin. My breakfast was satisfying and the refills of coffee hit the spot. I stayed long enough conversing with local patrons to transition to lunch and chose 1 pound of naked chicken wings, tossed in habernaro-pineapple sauce. My wings were cooked to perfection and the sauce provided just enough spice to liven my tastebuds. The next day I made a return visit for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast I chose Ava's fish and grits plus buttered wheat toast 2 eggs over easy for breakfast plus coffee. As a son of the Southern United States, grits are a staple. My grits were cooked to perfection with a dollop of butter. I just added salt and pepper to taste. My catfish fillet was corn meal battered and was nicely seasoned. I later ordered the pork chop sandwich for lunch dressed (no mayonnaise), which comes with a choice of fries or kale salad. I chose fries. My bone-in pork chop was lightly breaded and fried on sliced white bread, old school! The sandwich took me back to my childhood, goodness like grandmother cooked, magnifique! My service over these 2 days has been fantastic. Chelle handles the front of the house and Drae handles the back of the house for a winning combination. Chelle manages the dining room with patience and top notch customer service, even calling customers by name. She is the epitome of a professional, even under pressure with numerous orders coming in near closing. Drae is friendly and an accomplished cook and car enthusiast, as seen by the decor in the restaurant. There is always a comforting tune playing and the venue has scheduled events featuring local musicians performing at their building next door. It is obvious the there is a lot going on at Drae's Lake Route. Check it out when in the South Seattle area. You won't be disappointed.

The lady at the front she's mean shows nasty attitude. And they gave me a portion that wouldn't even get my mini poodle full. Like playing w my money in my face in the morning. Like I just woke up nobody is trying to argue. I hate confrontational people. It's disgusting that Seattle people are so rude for no reason. I paid 30$ and yall gave me such a Tiny portion of food and took 50 minutes !!. No seating either. They got like 6 chairs inside.i just realized also I didn't get my "toast" that comes with my gritz bowl. UPDATE RESPONSE to the CURT lady at the register - my order was very simple. Loaded grits bowl with the grits on the side. You were shaking your head making me feel uncomfortable about an order I've placed before it's very simple instructions. U made it difficult and started asking questions like it was so complicated. I had my friend that was standing next to me see all of it.Entitled ? lol r u ok ? Nobody wants to wake up on an empty stomach come to a breakfast spot and get shown attitude. You weren't nice at all. You could've simply asked him when u went back there after charging me for my order. You went back there told him I wanted everything separate. After me and my friend placed the order we went to sit outside. 5 minutes later your husband came outside and yelled so rudely saying " AYE WE CANT DO THIS COMPLICATED ORDER YOU CAN GET A REFUND AND SHE CAN GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK WE CANT MAKE EVERYTHING SEPARATE " then I said " that's not what I ordered I simply just want the grits separate then he said you told him I wanted everything separate which isn't true. No reason to lie. Then you guys took 50 minutes to give our order which was crazy !!! He could've came up to us instead of holding the door open yelling at us from the door to the outside seating. I also noticed the portion was so small. It's almost as if you guys did it on purpose. Just have better customer service. Don't be so rude to people in the morning. Word of mouth gets around fast. I brought my friend from ATL to see it and she was even shocked like wow people in Seattle are so rude. It was embarrassing. And the toast is written right above where the loaded grits bowl is lol. So maybe fix your menu so it's straight forward and where it needs to be. NOBODY WAS CURT BUT YOU RUINING PEOPLES MORNING making Seattle look bad. I've screen shotted your responses and since you are saying that I was rude and entitled etc when all I said was I want my gritz separate. You haven't said anything about the 50 minute wait ? Your husband yelling from the door ? And you said I was rude where ? lol. You keep talking about the toast ur missing the point. you guys don't sell out lol your open for 3 hours from Thursday - Sunday your talking about things I don't even care about. The way you treat someone and not addressing that but the toast , ur lost sweetheart. The fact that as a business "owner" you're going back and forth with me making lies up. I have a witness and my friend was also in there heard your whole attitude with me he apologized on your behalf it was not called for and it was embarrassing. Educate yourself. Oh I also noticed you're only nice to African Americans so maybe that's why you were nice to my friend and rude with me...seemed like a hate thing....
