This spot on Capitol Hill comes with plenty of seats, a restroom, and lots of treats. From coffee to cocktails, they are known for their hand pies. Their Bavarian sausage one came out warm and tasty. The poppy seed roll is hard but sooooo good.

My boyfriend and I discovered this place years ago and I forgot to review it back then but I'm excited to share my review on this most recent visit. We brought a friend along as we were hanging out at the nearby convention but we have been wanting to revisit and we love Filipino foods/flavors. My boyfriend got their chicken pot pie and cornpilog while I got their bicol express. Our friend got their bicol express and pork sisig. I did come there as I saw they serve kare kare on Saturdays but apparently not until the afternoon, but we arrived around 10am. We wanted to know what was in their Filipino breakfast as everyone was getting that but we saw that they were re-stocking it but by the time my boyfriend got to order, they were sold out. My boyfriend really loves this place, he says with full confidence that this is one of the best restaurants in Seattle. He demolished his cornpilog, no crumb left behind and pretty much finished the chicken pot pie. The bicol express was absolutely flavorful with the meat being so tender. The bread outside is perfect. Our friend was happily impressed and said he would definitely have to come back to try out more. We wanted to try more, especially their dessert ones! We also got their drinks to go and they had sold out of the ube baby so my boyfriend got their tsokolate mocha and I got the pandan caramel. The drinks were smooth and enjoyable but I felt the flavor was underwhelming, I could barely taste the pandan and even caramel but it was delightful. The inside is very spacious with tables with booths and chairs. They have several types of hot sauces, self-serve water station and a obvious area to place your dirty dishes in. The staff members were very welcoming and ensured that you get everything you wanted. There are restrictions of how many pastries you can get, but it is appreciated as honestly it's hard not to get more than one. They have a lot of savory and sweet options, including vegetarian and vegans ones too.

Pinoyshki is a unique Filipino-Polish inspired bakery serving up some delicious piroshkis with a Filipino twist! This spot is located next to Phe where street parking will be your best bet. Inside, they have a cozy interior with a solid amount of seating. Wifey and I stopped by with our homies to grab some pastries for breakfast. They had so many good options to choose from but we ended up getting a spread consisting of the Seattle Dog, Pork Sisig, Garlic Beef Asado, Pork Liempo, Cornsilog, and the Matcha Strawberry Cake. Everything that we had was delicious with familiar Filipino flavors. Overall, I am glad we got the chance to check this spot out. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. You really cannot go wrong with any pastries you order here, but I would highly recommend the Garlic Beef Asado and the Cornsilog. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Really great bakery! Lots of options and they're fresh. I got the Guy Fierri pinoyshki which was pretty tasty. There was a lot more dough than filling. Wish it had more filling in it to balance it out. There's seating inside and some outside. Super friendly service and pretty quick!

Cute decorated space with indoor seating. Employees are friendly and the piroshkis are tasty! They have a variety of options, including vegan and vegetarian options (haven't tried these except for a mushroom one). I particularly enjoyed the flavorful beef hash piroshki and the potato and beef one. It's a little pricey so it's a nice treat for every now and then!

The ube latte was excellent and much better than I expected I originally visited for the Russian pastries, but I ended up enjoying the coffee even more. I ordered two piroshky flavors: cornpoling and smoked salmon & cream cheese. The staff were very kind and warmed up the pastries for me, which I appreciated The pastries were good, though I personally preferred the ones I've had at Pike Place Market. One thing to note is that the seating area could use a bit more attention to cleanliness. Some of the fabric seats appeared worn, and there were a few fruit flies during my visit, which slightly affected the dining experience. Overall, I would still recommend this spot especially for takeout, and I would definitely return for the ube latte and to try more of their coffee drinks

As a Filipina eating at this restaurant, i have to be objectively score their pastries. We ordered their adobo, which is my most favorite... my only feedback on this is the whole peppercorn on a few bites. Can u pls use ground pepper instead. Pork asado- not a fan, I don't think the atchara blends well on the meat Beef mushroom- this is okay too. I tried their ube pandan drinks & i love it!!! Their servers are very nice, food is served warm and space is big enough.

Went here since was craving for pastries. I have been here before to the Yelp Elite Event but this is separate. I love that this is owned by a Filipina (which I am as well)! Something different - a twist of Filipino and Polish flavors. What a unique and courageous concept! We ordered the ube latte which was delicious! And had several pastries including the vegan sticky bun, guava and cream cheese danish, leche flan pastry, chocolate croissant, and chocolate chip pastry. My fave was the leche flan which was surprisingly so delicious! And a must have!!! Perfect sweet and flaky. Yummy!!! My second was the chocolate croissant - wow the big chunk of chocolate just hit the spot. All of these pastries are great reheated in the oven too. Friendly staff and fun ambience with alibata/Filipino art work. Love that! Def come here if you next a sweet fix. No savory this time (:

The service here is super friendly and they have the very cute fruit desserts with a chocolate hard shell! Cozy spot for studying or meeting with friends. Unfortunately, the taste of the fruit desserts leave much to be desired. The dessert texturally is odd with very different textures within one dessert and it fell apart too easily. Compared to other similar fruit desserts, the quality is not as high.

Pinoyshki Bakery & Cafe is the best Filipino Russian Bakery I've ever tasted. They have inventive fusion buns that clearly were influenced by both cultures. I like the open air indoor seating bringing to life the island feeling. The wooden tables, Filipino artwork, potted vines, rattan lighting, upbeat musical songs, and happy staff all add to the experience. The buns are on the higher cost though and will limit what people order. We had the following and they were all good. Make sure to order several different buns to give variety. Chicken Pot Pie Pork Sisig (Brined Pork Butt tossed with Thai Chili in a citrusy soy sauce) Vegan Laing (Collard Greens in a Miso Coconut Ginger Cream Sauce) - surprisingly the group's favorite. Spinach, Egg, and Cheese Ube Crinkle Cookie (Vegan) Ube Coconut Mimosa Pandan Caramel Latte

A really cool Filipino Piroshki fusion. Very impressive blend of cultural food! If you like Filipino food and you like soft delicious breads this is a treat. I have to also mention that it's beautifully baked. Perfect amount of filling. All I have to say is the owner has got this down to a science. Bravo!

Pinoyshki is what you get when a Filipino empanada and Russian peroshki come together to make a savory AND sweet Pinoyshkis that deliver an abundance of flavor to your tastebuds! I visited this charming bakery just four blocks east of Starbucks Reserve Roastery. The staff is welcoming and everyone is busy making, baking or serving. I thought my aunt was going to walk out of the kitchen telling me, go eat! We had their famous adobo Pinoyshki and it had the right amount of sour with savory for me. The other person I was with thought it was too sour--so you'll just have to try it yourself to decide. Water is self serve and so are utensils and don't forget to bus your own table like you're at your auntie's house. One of my favorite areas of the restaurant was an area dedicated to the owner's Filipino heritage and I loved it. As you exit the cafe, there's a story about the founder and fellow Fil-Am.

I came here after grabbing drinks next door and ordered the smoked salmon cream cheese and my boyfriend ordered the chicken pot pie. Both pastries were unfortunately dry upon bite, and my boyfriend wasn't able to get to the center and taste the chicken until 3 bites in. I personally wasn't really impressed, but maybe it was just the day I went.

The croissant was on the crispier side, especially with the almond crumble on top it was a bit too cripsy for me, but I tend to like soft and flakey pastries so it's probably a matter of taste. There was a TON of almond filling in the middle. I enjoyed the taste and texture but it was too much filling for me personally. I would have liked more croissant in my croissant, so to say haha. The chocolate was slightly dark which worked well with the sweet pastry and filling! Overall I enjoyed the croissant but it was a tad too heavy on the filling and cripsy/crunchy for me.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Through several visits: Baguette, Large ($7.95) - Great baguette with bubbling golden exterior complete with the perfectly baked crust even after waiting 3 hours before cutting in and eating. The interior has the perfect moisture level and is delightfully soft and chewy. The taste overall has a deep developed flavor. This is a great baguette. The only problem - the price. I can find ones for half the price that are maybe 80% as good as this one. (5/5) Seasonal Biscuit ($4.50) - This biscuit definitely isn't Southern-style. It's more of a drop biscuit, combining a relatively soft and tender interior with a nice exterior crust, without any flakiness or layering. The interior is almost cake-like in texture and crumb, and is plenty moist. They add plenty of fresh black pepper inside. It's distributed very evenly, giving a peppery bite with every mouthful. Parmesan is added to the top of the biscuit before baking, giving plenty of umami and richness but only on the upper layer. (4/5) Green Vinaigrette Cafeteria Style Pizza ($6.25) - The pizza is kept under a warming lamp, so it starts getting a little dried out after I assume a couple of hours spent there. I do love the base though - it's focaccia-like giving a really crunchy dark golden brown crust underneath, which supports the toppings. The pizza slice has lots of structural integrity and doesn't flop over. There's a base of fragrant concentrated tomato paste-like flavor which is topped with a very even layer of cheese. Since it's warmed rather than freshly baked, the cheese starts congealing a bit. The cheese is peppered with parsley, garlic, and a bunch of mustard seeds, giving a special zing. The toppings go all the way to the sides of the pie, making it great for people who dislike crust. Even though it's cafeteria style pizza that's kept under heat lamps, I quite liked it. I wonder if I can get a really fresh slice if I get there right at 11AM when lunch starts. (5/5) Chocolate Croissant ($6.10) - Great lamination with a very aesthetic honeycomb pattern. Baked on the harder side, causing fantastic crispy flaky layers to flake off, but also creating a darker golden brown character that is on the verge of bitterness. Nicely buttery soft and chewy interior. Chocolate is a darker variety, probably somewhere around 70%, so it has a pleasing balanced sweetness and chocolate flavor. It's not typical baton, instead seems to be a section from a bar. Still warm and melty even through I didn't eat the croissant until ~30 minutes after purchasing. When cooled down further, some red fruity notes start appearing, so this seems to be be pretty high quality. (5/5) White Sourdough ($12.60) - Now this is a loaf of bread. Superb crust, probably 2 or 3 times as thick compared to competitors, creating a supreme crusty bite with a chew approaching a hard crunch with almost caramelized molasses notes on the bottom. The interior is moist and tender with a pleasing slight sourdough tang. It's a superb piece of craftsmanship. (5/5) Kouign Amann ($5.80) - This is another heavier bake with some acridity development on the top surface. Unlike many other bakeries where the kouign amann is basically a differently shaped croissant with sugar glaze, Sea Wolf's version feels more in line with tradition. The crumb is denser and richer, more like brioche. There's interesting black speckling inside which I believe is due to the inclusion of espresso powder given the mild coffee-like flavor. The crust is again baked hard, but it's lighter and not as flaky as the croissant. They sprinkle just a bit of salt on top of a very light caramelized sugar glaze. It's not very sweet and I didn't find it too salty unlike some other reviewers. (5/5) Plain Focaccia Slice ($4.80) - Good quality olive oil, some salt sprinkled on top to boost the flavors. Light and airy interior, but the exterior is a little wan, being more light golden brown and lacking some good crusty crisp especially on the fried bottom. Quite oily. (4/5) Sea Wolf gives out free sourdough starter, which can be requested from the cashier. Since picking it up several weeks ago, I've gone through several feed/bake cycles for making sourdough focaccia. I've visited Sea Wolf 3 or 4 times in the last month. That's a testament to how high quality their pastries and breads are. I think the only thing stopping me from visiting more is thanks to the starter I got from them fanning my baking instincts. I bake so much now that I don't have any need to buy their bread! Note: Sea Wolf charges a 3% credit card fee. This is not noted on their menu - it only appears in the POS right before paying. Kind of sketchy. Bathrooms - Single unisex room

I will note that I haven't tried the breads, but as a non-morning individual, I do appreciate that they do tend to still have many items available even later in the afternoon (~1-3PM time frame). You will have to find street parking, but I've never had too much trouble in this neighborhood even on the weekend. Butter Croissant (3.75/5): I'll admit I'm insanely picky with my croissants and I think Sea Wolf's is just okay. I want a stronger crisp on the outside, something that almost shatters and makes a mess when you bite in, but the inside has a nice chew. Kouign Amann (3.75/5): I had a really fantastic time with this my first time picking it up, they have almost a crunchy sugar caramel crust on the outside with super buttery pastry inside. Unfortunately, my second time picking this up ended up being a miss, just stale and much to dry. Cinnamon Roll (1/5): The raisins are a nice touch, but this was awfully dry. Even the caramelized crus on the outside couldn't save this and charging extra for cream cheese frosting on top of a dry dough is criminal.

Instead, it turned into a masterclass in how to make customers feel completely unwelcome. The sticker shock started immediately. Six donuts cost $25. Expensive? Absolutely. But I was willing to pay premium prices if the experience matched. It didn't. My daughter politely asked if she could order a ham and cheese croissant. The cashier's response? "Well, we have no croissants available... so... no." Not "I'm sorry, we're sold out." Not even a hint of courtesy. Just a cold, dismissive response to an 11-year-old. Then I asked whether they made specialty coffee because my daughter wanted a latte. The response: "We have an espresso machine." Thanks, but that wasn't the question. It felt like every interaction was treated as an inconvenience. After we finally finished ordering, we waited nearly 20 minutes for what should have been a straightforward order. Meanwhile, our coffees sat getting colder by the minute while nobody seemed remotely concerned. Then the food arrived... except one breakfast sandwich was missing. This was somehow the most frustrating part. Instead of a simple apology or, "We'll get that right out," the cashier immediately became defensive, pulled up the order screen as if I were the one making a mistake, and said, "I could charge you for the fourth one if you want." No apology. No ownership. No attempt to recover the situation. Just more attitude. It's remarkable how quickly rude, indifferent service can sour what should have been a pleasant breakfast. The food might be good, but it's hard to appreciate it when you're made to feel like your business is a burden. For a place happy to charge premium prices - including a jaw-dropping $58 coconut cream pie - you'd expect at least a basic level of professionalism and hospitality. Instead, the overwhelming impression was arrogance: the assumption that people will keep coming no matter how poorly they're treated. Seattle has too many outstanding bakeries staffed by people who actually appreciate their customers to waste your time or money here. This place has earned exactly one visit from me, and that's one too many.

I ordered a 16oz iced oat milk mocha and loved how perfectly the chocolate was incorporated into my drink! It tasted sweet and the coffee added the robust flavour I love in my mochas My boyfriend had never tried a Moroccan Fog before and he loved how sweet it was without him having to add sugar. He especially loved that it had just the right amount of mint flavoring without being toothpaste For breakfast, I ordered their fruit danish! I love that they had different options of fruit to pick from and I chose blueberry! The pastry was perfectly flaky and I loved how fresh the blueberry tasted. My boyfriend ordered the chocolate croissant because he was excited at the idea of the chocolate being piped through the croissant and also drizzled over the top, but it turns out the dark brown parts on top are just design and not more chocolate. Still, he was pleased with the amount of chocolate in the croissant and the bite I had was heavenly. The champagne cake caught my eye as I was ordering and I just had to try a bite, it was absolutely delicious and fresh. I loved how light the cake was and the layers of flavour through the whole dessert! I love how bright and airy the cafe is! My boyfriend and I were easily able to find seating by the windows and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the space needle and people watching as we shared breakfast. The staff here was also patient and welcoming. We'll definitely have to come back and try more of their pastries!!

I'm here for coffee. I did not try any pastry as I was having lunch much later…read more Coffee was good. For a single barista who also did all food orders, she was quick. Coffee is good but not a wow. Food like the croissants seems to be not fresh. They did not have the look of freshly baked considering it was around 9am. Not sure but did not have the glow or lopk when I see a pastry. Nice place though. Lots of tables and space. They were busy.

Finally made it out to Saint Bread and I loved it! Arrived around 9am on a Friday morning and…read morewaited ~30 min in line. All the pastries except for the regular butter croissant were available, and we were able to place an order for the kimchi focaccia and sakura swiss roll, which were slated to come out around 10am. Service was super friendly! I got the hojicha latte, the okonomiyaki frittata, black sesame cookie, kimchi focaccia, and sakura swiss roll. The hojicha latte was rich and earthy in the best way, and it went really well with the black sesame cookie, which had a great strong sesame flavor, and the texture was perfectly chewy! The focaccia was pillowy and chewy at the same - I could've eaten five of these on their own. The frittata was my least favorite item, but by no means am I saying that it's bad! I thought the sauces overpowered it a bit, and the frittata itself was a bit bland - I couldn't even tell it had sweet potato in it, but it was cooked really well. There was ample seating in the heated patio, but parking was a little confusing, though we got lucky with the small lot right next to the store. There were a lot of signs that said no parking along the street in front, but it seemed like a lot of cars were parked there?

We ordered the Fried Egg Sandwich with bacon, Saint Cheeseburger, and Seasoned Fries with Miso Ranch. The Fried Egg Sandwich and Saint Cheeseburger were on the same buns, which were soft, buttery, and delicious. However, the ratio of patty-to-bun for the cheeseburger felt a bit off (way more bun than patty), and if we were to get it again, we would definitely order it with an extra patty. The fries were solid, but the Miso Ranch unfortunately did not have a prominent miso flavor, and instead was very dill-heavy. All around, we enjoyed our visit and would for sure come back to try their baked goods.
