    Ceaser salad
    Heather M.

I give two stars only because the Ceaser dressing on my Togo Ceaser salad was tasty. Other than that one if the worse carry outs I have even experienced! First off there is not one person behind the register EVER you gave to order in a kiosk I ordered a Ceaser salad and added chicken $25 for this salad. I left and cane back due to knowing it would be a few minutes for the order. But almost 30 minutes later and I'm standing by the carry out area and not one if the waitress asked if I needed help or anything . It wasn't busy there were 3 ladies 2 waitress 1 bartender and they made sure to not make eye contact with me. I had to almost step all the infront if the door to the back to their kitchen area and say "excuse me" Sad thing is the waitress I stopped knew what I ordered because she replied to my excuse me with "I'm just waiting for your chicken". First of all you could have said something about that before I had to force service for you.... then when I get to somewhere to eat the salad that took almost 30 minutes it was messy like they just thrown it in the container. Never again will I come here or recommend this restaurant after this experience plus for $25 the salad was small compared to any other place and icould have spent less.

    Bloody Mary

Located inside the Evans terminal at DTW we had good service and good food and drinks. The Bloody Mary's were excellent. I opted for the hummus plate with pita chips. Hummus was fresh. I wish the pita bread was a little softer but it's more a personal preference. The chicken quesadilla was also a great choice. It was enough to share. Jolly Pumpkin is a solid choice for a quick bite to eat and drink at the airport before a flight.

I often stop into Jolly Pumpkin when I'm waiting for my flights. It's relatively easy to find a seat to have a beer, charge my devices, and get a little work done. The food is decent, but as is the case for much airport fare, not exactly worth the price. The service is hit or miss for me. Sometimes they're attentive and friendly, other times it's long waits between check ins. But it's convenient and a good spot to spend a few minutes before boarding.

This was a quick stop before my flight. An airport beer seemed in order and this was the place to go. I found a spot to sit at the bar and was welcomed. The service was great. I ordered my beer, an amber called Siren. It was delivered to me quickly. I enjoyed my beverage and was checked out quickly and on my way to my gate.

The service was outstanding. The prices were fair - especially for an airport location. Found a new Chardonnay to add to my list.

My fries were fried too hard for my taste and they were an added cost. The impossible patty was delicious. The server was nice. The music was loud, which made it difficult to work while waiting on my flight. It would've been nice if I was in vacay mode.

Good music Comfortable seating, and lots of it!! We had super fast service from our waitress, Tracey. She was on point and very pleasant.

Nice bar... I saw the "stay sour" and thought it said, "stay sober" ‍‍‍

It's a great option if you're killing time at the airport. The food is good... Full bar and a lot of great locally brewed beer on tap. Their pizzas are delicious... sadly I only know that from PREVIOUS experience. After ordering a Margarita pizza (yes I know it's spelled wrong) and paying to add pepperoni and onions to it (a 22$ tiny pizza) I got on the plane to discover a congealed lunch meat sandwich and fries.... Disgusting! And it made for a very long very hungry 7 hour flight to Germany. Lesson learned... even if you've been waiting 20 plus minutes for your food and even after the woman at the counter says "your PIZZA is almost ready" and even if you're about to be late to the gate LOOK at the food!

Tuna melt with truffle fries. Not my favorite experience.

I had high hopes for this place when I landed at DTW and walked by. So I made a mental note to stop in as I was leaving Detroit. As airport restaurants go, it's marginal. Inviting and centrally located with ample seating a good bar space. However, right off I saw red flags. I arrived at 6:00 and the place was pretty desolate. People were leaving with half of their meals unfinished. I stopped in because of the selection of taps. But when I sat down I was confused. There was a QR code at my table that told me to scan for a menu then order. I tried it that, and it told me I couldn't order because no server had opened my tab. A server came later and took my drink order, then the rest of my meal order traditionally. VERY confusing. I never ended up using the mobile ordering system. The staff was friendly but seemed equally confused. The food was incredibly underwhelming. Very salty and greasy. I saw many people pay then leave behind half of their meal. My bartender had little knowledge about the beers on tap so I couldn't get a differentiation between the four IPAs on tap. This all feels like poor execution on the part of management. Bad training program, poor menu selection, underwhelming food quality. I had a good beer but it was luck if the draw. Opportunity wasted. I do hope that management can invest the time in getting this place straightened out.

Very pricey tap house and bar with pub food in the terminal. Staff was friendly. Clean. Lots of charging outlets. QR code ordering. Pricey

This is a great little restaurant inside the Detroit airport and the food quality is a lot better than you would expect. The quesadilla was delicious and the vegetable soup was fresh and tasty. It's five star dining, but definitely well above average.

Lauren took great care of us and encouraged us to order whatever we were craving. Dangerous advice, but we happily accepted . Warning - the ratings are real. They're not a mistake. We started with our usual cocktail, the Instant Karma (5/5). It is the perfect balance of citrus and salt with a light cucumber note. Clean, refreshing, and it pairs well with everything. The roasted sweet potato (6/5) is one of the best vegetable dishes in the city. The caramelized exterior gives way to a soft interior, and the crispy quinoa adds a subtle light crunch that plays against the creamy texture. The salsa macha brings a smoky, nutty depth without the heat, and the crema ties it all together. I had to physically stop myself from scraping the plate (actually they had to take it away ). The tagliatelle (5/5) with beef bolognese and parmesan was flawless. The pasta has that ideal handmade chew, and the bolognese is rich without being heavy. The parmesan blends perfectly into the sauce and stands out in every bite. The potato pierogi (10/5) were the star of the night. Soft potato-filled pillows with horseradish crema, apple, and crispy shallot pieces create this perfect sweet, tangy, creamy, and crunchy bite. Each forkful felt intentional and balanced. I felt guilty, because in my head, I didn't want to share with my wife, but I did anyways . The cruelty of having to split an odd number of pierogis...well played...we should have just ordered another one. We also ordered the smoked potatoes and the pan roasted half chicken with sauce au poivre (always 5/5 for both) The smoked potatoes, with raclette, and crème fraîche, are always a must. These winter variation was just as good! The chicken remains one of the most consistently well-executed mains in the city. I have tried recreating it at home with the cold pan method and it never comes close. Every time we dine here, it feels like four or five different dinner experiences in one evening. Selden Standard continues to set the bar for us in Detroit. We love the staff, the food, and the memories tied to this place. Cheers to many more amazing years to come!

My husband surprised me with a birthday dinner here, and I'm glad that we got to experience it. We arrived in advance of our reservation and grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender brought us a glass of wine while we waited. It took about a half hour, but we were shown to our table for the night and promptly greeted by our server. All of the food looked amazing, both on the menu and with what people were ordering at other tables. We chose a variety of dishes - cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, squid ink orecchiette, octopus, mushrooms, and scallops. I would recommend all of them, but the standouts for me were the Brussels sprouts and the scallops. Flavors were unique and textures were especially on point with those dishes. Service was good, but we both felt like it was slow. There was a slight glitch in the beginning of the night where the host stand didn't mark that we had checked in when we actually had, which probably contributed to the half hour wait at the bar. Aside from those points, it was an impeccable night!

They have a pretty nice size menu with a lot of great options. A cool thing about their menu is their sliders. You get to choose whether you want a small or a full size. The idea is to be able to pick different sliders to choose to eat. I decided on the park bowl which came with white rice topped with sesame seeds, avocado, seaweed, and carrots. I added a salmon fillet. It was so fresh and delicious - and VERY filling! I also ordered the calamari for an appetizer and that was pretty tasty as well. I never expect stellar service when you have a big party. The issue I had was the food. It was mid at best. First it came out at all different times which I think is not ideal. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and it said it was grilled chicken.... There is absolutely NO way this was grilled chicken, it was canned chicken shredded to the max. That was disappointing because I was thinking it was grilled chicken cut into strips or chunks and then put in the wrap. I assumed incorrectly. For me it was very sub par, for the money I would rather go elsewhere. If you're going just for drinks, then maybe it's a decent spot. I had wine so nothing too adventurous.

We happened to be going someplace nearby, and decided to finally try this spot. (I sort of wished we just went to Mexican Town to eat). All 3 if us were first timers, we luckily came in before a Pre Tigers game rush. Our server, Bobby, was efficient but lacked personality. It was like he rushed us through our order, I guess that's great to turn tables and get ppl to the game on time. We wanted to try a bunch of sliders. We got the double cheeseburger, Philly cheesesteak, fried chicken, Cuban, pork belly and fried chicken Caesar. We also got Cajun fries, Poutine , chili cheese fries and Mac and cheese. The double cheeseburger was typical and good. Fried chicken Caesar was good, We liked the dressing Pork belly was disappointing and bland Cheesesteak was just ok Fried chicken was good The Cuban was one of the better ones For the sides, we liked the thin fries, with Cajun and poutine being our favorites. I didn't care for the venison chili cheese fries, but the others liked it. The Mac and cheese was so bland, even some salt and pepper would have made it better, but it wasnt on the table and our server wasn't around to ask for it. One thing that annoyed me was that our food came out gradually, our fries came out way before our food, 12 minutes to be exact (looked at the time on my photos). We also ordered some cocktails, I was in the mood for a margarita, so I ordered a spicy margarita, it waa pretty good, not spicy at all, no salt, but the flavor was decent. My sister ordered a New fashioned, she said is wasn't anything special. We also got summer soda (vodka, basil, lemon, cucumber and soda) it had a strange flavor, I'm not sure from what, as it should be pretty simple and straight forward. I'm not sure of the name of the other cocktails, it may have been gin promise, it was pretty good. Overall, we all said we wouldn't go out of our way to eat here again. We all agreed that it didn't live up to the hype we've heard all of these years. I did like the old school vibe inside, dark with horse stable themed decor. Interesting place, some things were better than others. I could see this being a good place to grab a pretty quick drink and bite to eat before a game. Surely, better than eating at the ballpark, etc..
