So I've been to this place on three separate occasions and they have yet to get an order right. Whether it's charging me for an item and then not giving to me giving me the wrong bagel or they wrong spread, my orders are never accurate and/or complete. This last time I ordered a jalapeño bagel toasted with garden vegetable spread. They ended up giving me a multi grain bagel not toasted with garden vegetable spread. Then each time when I go ask for my correct order i am greeted with a rolling of the eyes by the girl working the register. No thanks... Going across the street to dunkin donuts. read more

Another customer wondering what happened. I come to the cape once a year or so for work and have made the trip to Jo Mama's each time - it's always been an excellent breakfast sandwich - fresh cooked eggs, bacon, good bagel. Came in this morning making a special trip to get my breakfast sammy fix and I get a pre-processed (frozen) egg patty with meat chips mixed in to the thing. The bagel was dry and pretty lifeless. Congratulations! you're making more money by saving on a cheap substitution for an egg sandwich! What a bummer..... read more

This place is great and has gluten free breakfast sandwiches (a plus for my pal). They also have soy milk for lattes etc. The bagels are phenomenal as someone who lives in NYC these are the real thing. The smoothies were just average though I would not recommend this. read more

I really like the people at Jo Mama's but I feel like their quality has gone down. I usually order something on a sesame bagel and lately I have noticed the number of actual sesame seeds is probably about 1/4 of what you'd get a Dunkin' Donuts. Bacon egg & cheese on plain bagel was good, very satisfying. Bagels come in from ny and baked here so they are exposed to that New York water that supposedly makes them the best in the world. Went around 10 am on a Saturday, not much elbow room inside while I waited but my order came out quick. Good spot I would recommend it. read more

Not good. I hadn't been here for at least ten years and gave it another try. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel and got a wrap for a friend. I think my bagel had been frozen and thawed. The eggs in both seemed pre cooked. The hash browns in the wrapped tasted like freezer. I guess I expected more. On the plus side it was not expensive. read more

I can't find fresher or better bagels on the Outer Cape. JoMammas bagels are from the New York area and cooked up fresh during the day. Stopped by for a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and ended spending the rest of the day no further than 10 feet from a bathroom. Called my bother who went with me an ordered the same thing and he couldn't take my call as he was in the bathroom. I eat here once or twice each weekend all year. Always friendly and quick service. The iced chai tea rivals egg nog with its incredible creamy goodness. I went to Jo Mama's based on Yelp reviews. One review said they use fresh eggs, the other said good food overall. They use "liquid eggs" that they bake in "egg patty" form (eek!) and we're not very friendly in explaining this when I asked if they use real eggs. So we just stuck with ordering bagels (that my boyfriend ended up throwing away because it was hard as a rock). The coffee, though, was quite good, but other than that, a fail on "fresh food", a fail on customer service, but a pass on coffee! read more

I have been on yelp for awhile and never been motivated to review a business. However, after waiting 20 minutes for a smoothie at Jo Mama's, I felt compelled to respond. Simply put, the service was slow and uninspiring, even for vacation destination. There were plenty of servers, but most of them seemed content to do nothing and disinterested in being there. As a customer I desire efficiency and at the least, staff that seems happy to help, if not happy to be there. After all that, the smoothies were disappointing too as they weren't blended enough to suck through a straw. We were bummed and likely won't be back. read more

Sadly, our first experience left bad tastes in our mouths! We were in a rush that day and looking to get food fast. Our mistake ...we should have taken a bit more time and put more thought into our meal. Food: Obviously microwaved. While the bagel itself was pretty good, the scrambled eggs were rubbery. My partner had the Papa Jack's wrap. He wanted to give it back after eating the first half. He was disappointed that it was supposed to be spicy but ended up over-salted and over-peppered. I asked him to PLEASE not be a pain in the rear and to just eat it anyway. He did - but complained of a stomach ache all afternoon. Service: I understand that Jo Mama's is going for a hip, young, fun vibe. But unfortunately, this vibe came with catty comments (the kind I haven't heard since high school) being overheard from the young servers behind the counter about costumers and their attire.
