Haulin Movers did 2 moves for us this summer. David, Christian, and Matt were terrific. I forgot to write down the names of the other crew- they were great as well. The guys worked hard and cared well for our items to move. My mom commented that they were almost running back into the house when going back to retrieve more boxes. They didn't mess around- they were working the entire time we were charged for. I especially appreciated Haulin's straight per hour cost. I called a few other places and they had a per hour charge plus several other fees including a mileage charge, fuel surcharge, etc. Their price was reasonable and totally worth every penny. I will be calling them again if I need to move in the future. read more

I moved from Austin to The Woodlands with Haulin, and they were beyond perfect. First time ever, movers contacted me that they were a little early, so we got off to a great start, and it was seamless from there. Great guys from getting the quote, to the actual move. Price was the best I could find, and worth every penny. Moving isn't cheap, no matter what, so you might as well support a great local business. 12/10 recommend read more

The most horrible experience ever! They are very expensive and charge by the hour. It took them 5 hours to move my stuff out and put it on the truck and I have a one bedroom apartment. They took an additional three hours to unload the truck into another one bedroom apartment. The movers were pleasant but move very slow, there was a lot of standing around and looking at phones. They had absolutely no hustle or urgency. So I basically feel like they took a long time on purpose because they were getting paid by the hour. When I called to complain they said they had sent there best guys (which were three boys that looked to be very very young 19 or 20). They went on to say there was nothing they could do and I had to eat it. I paid them over a $1000 to move a one bedroom apartment! Do not use Haulin movers it's a blatant rip off! read more

We used Haulin' Movers a second time this week. The new team made up of Matt, John, and Sam were amazing. They wrapped and moved heavy furniture from our living room, dining room and atrium, packed the items securely on their truck and moved them into a storage unit in two hours. These guys are very focused and coordinated team. They are the best in the business. I gave them 5 stars and recommend them to family and friends. They are the best in Texas. read more

Today, Joey and Josh packed up my 1 bedroom (with an additional study) in Galveston and moved it to a storage unit in Houston! They were friendly and professional. The rate for moving was extremely reasonable, especially considering how fast they were-- running back and forth from the moving truck to my apartment in the Texas heat. It only took an hour to load up my things and less than an hour to unload them (into a 3rd floor storage unit). I will be moving from my second apartment soon and will absolutely use haulin movers for this again due to the excellent service I received today. Thanks!!! read more

Both times they were on time, helped with everything and anything that needed to be moved and were careful with my belongings during pick up transport and delivery. The guys showed up when scheduled and got the move done quickly. Had my move scheduled for July 3 at 3 PM. no one showed up and when I called they said oh sorry we forgot to put that in the computer we don't have anybody to come and help you. Definitely not dependable and would not use them ever. To reply, I did not randomly or haphazardly reschedule my move. It was solely because of closing dates change beyond my control- which you were aware of. when I had to make a change I called to confirm that it was still available. if you had told me then you couldn't do it - I would've had time to find somebody else. Poor communication. You also told me you forgot to update your computer. Your forgetfulness caused a huge amount of expense and stress for none of which I was compensated. read more

Everyone I dealt with at Haulin' Movers was extremely friendly and professional. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I contracted three guys to move a 350 lb bathtub upstairs, and only 2 guys showed up. After realizing the difficulty of the task at hand, they called a 3rd guy which delayed the job getting done by an extra 30 minutes or so. All in all, class act firm, just don't think they had ever moved such an awkward shaped object of that weight before. But they got the job done with zero incidents. I scheduled a move on a Friday. Haulin Movers provided blankets and wrapped my furniture - they charge extra for wardrobe boxes/normal boxes, both were probably a bit more expensive than competitors. They do not deliver said boxes in advance, other similarly priced movers in the area will. Not too much of a big deal, that wasn't an issue. Move itself was OK. I appreciated the fact that they wrapped furniture up and made sure it was not damaged in the truck. I was quoted 2 hours for a 1 br move to a 1br apartment on the second floor. The Move went over by 2 hours. They charge by 15 minute increments and I was charged an extra 10 mins to round up to the 15 minute mark at the end. Not a big deal but the issues add up. The guys tried to take breaks when I was not looking. I get that it is up a flight of stairs and it was during the summer, but the movers were trying to hide breaks on my dime. Not too big of a deal... but you get it - it adds up. I was missing a box at the end of the move. It was probably hidden in the back of the truck under some blankets - both movers and I missed it when we were finished. No fault on them, but this is where my frustration started. It took several phone calls with me having to call back when I was promised a call from both management and the mover with my box. It took a couple days of calls before I could even confirm that they found the box and then another couple of days with promises that they would return it that day(s). It contained almost all my silverware so that actually WAS a big deal. I finally got the box back over a week later when i left a message about how upset I was and stopped being polite. I got some informal apology from the mover that returned it but not a peep from anyone else. Overall I wouldn't recommend them. There are other similarly priced movers in the area that will treat you better. read more

What ever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will make this first paragraph short for those that do not like long reviews. Only use this company as a last resort if you are only moving fire wood, NOTHING else. Now, if your belongings mean zero to you, this is your company. Review: As most of us, we value our things that we have accumulated over our life time, weather it be expensive, non expensive, or just sentimental items. This company cares about none of them. If you hire them, they will show up with 3 to 6 teenagers with zero supervision to move your things. Yes, I said teenagers. We had 6 young men under the age of 20 show up, started knocking furniture over, and damaging items right from the start. Unfortunately during our move we had an unexpected rain storm come up during the unloading process. I was getting things settled and finding areas to unload or stage the unloading during the rain. I was working in the back, trying to clear an area in the garage and in my metal building. As I walked back toward the front, these 6 boys were playing in the rain, unloading in the rain, then bringing their wet selves and my wet furniture and sitting them on my new wood floors. When I asked them what in the hell they were thinking, they said we only get paid $13 dollars an hour, and our boss told us to work in the rain???? Shortly afterwards, I noticed one of them throw a cardboard cylinder into a puddle on my grass. It didn't register at first, but then I realized he just threw one of my signed art work prints into a puddle of water!!! Yep, its gone for good. I asked what in the hell are you thinking, He just said Oh, I thought that was an empty shrink rap tube??? Now we have water stains on several pieces of furniture, damage to furniture, and a ton of clean up to do. When I got the "Manager" on the phone, his IQ was lower than the 6 kids that showed up to move us combined. All he could keep saying is you have to deal with the claims department, I just need payment. I don't know about you that is reading this, but me as a Manager and my managers that work for me would have shown up and corrected this issue and handled everything on the spot. Not this knuckle head. Please, if you need to move, call me. I will come over and help you move for free before you lower yourself to using a company like this. Hell, I will even help you with the cost of another moving company before you have to use a company like this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. read more

Can't rate their moving because I had to fire them before it started. The were set to arrive 8:30 and called me at 7:30 to say they arrived. No communication they were early. Sent 6 young, college aged guys with zero materials on truck to cover and protect wood floors. Claimed were not told I had a piano even though it was a very light upright said they can't move and they have truck with no lift. I was super irritated because I had lengthy conversation with owner about my top priority with my move is protecting floors and furniture properly which is why I requested 6 guys. He went on about how they are a high end moving company and how they cover and protect everything so carefully. On move day with my sofa taken apart he then decides it is too rainy and too dangerous for his guys to move and would switch me to Tuesday (4 days later) even though I told him at least 20 times I can't move Tuesday. So unprofessional and just a total joke of a company. Luckily I found another moving company not afraid of a few rain drops and ready to move me professionally later the same day. I could continue my rant because I was so angry and cannot believe this company remains in business with the way they conduct their moves but I will spare you. Even if you found a few friends to help you move I guarantee it would be better than hiring haulin movers. This is their spring/woodlands location I write this review on. read more
