Dr. Zelken, nurse Miki, and the whole team were wonderful! I had a mole on my right cheek that bothered me for as long as I can remember and I finally made the decision to have it removed. I actually found Dr. Zelken from a YouTube video of a mole removal he performed. The end results in the video looked amazing so I went to his website and was able to book an appointment right away. I'll try to keep this short, but OMG!!!!!!! I love everyone here. Dr. Zelken, Sofia & Miki, Jamie, and the gals at the front desk. From the moment I walked into their office, I knew they were my people. Aside from the exceptional service, this team is always happy and kind and they truly care about their patients. As a child, I suffered from numerous autoimmune issues & kidney failure, which subsequently led to abnormally high doses of steroids for years (I would have died without it). I developed what is called a "moon face" from Prednisone. The side effects of this drug caused facial swelling and fat deposits around my face. The docs said it would go away once I was off of the drug. It didn't. And it didn't matter how much weight I would lose, my face never went back to the way it was. Anyone that has had this issue understands how awful it is. Its ruins your face. I had to live off of prescribed water pills just to look somewhat normal. Since high school, I researched how to get rid of it. There was literally nothing I could do that wouldn't be harmful to my system, until I read about Buccal Fat Removal and met with Dr. Zelken. And then it only got better. I knew Buccal Fat Removal wouldn't address all of my issues and then Dr. Zelken told me about Facetite. #gamechanger. Why wasn't this around in my 20's!! Best part-its a quick and painless procedure. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner as I didn't know about it. Not to mention, having autoimmune issues is always a touchy subject when it comes to cosmetic surgery. I am two weeks out since my surgery, and the results are already insane (it can take months for changes to appear). I'll post photos after my 1 month checkup :). Dr Zelken is amazing! There is nothing worse than feeling young in your mind but when you look in the mirror you only see old! I just had a Blepharoplasty and my ears done and now every time I look in the mirror it makes me want to cry from happiness! Just prior to starting I asked Dr Zelken if there was anything he could do for my extremely torn ears lobes that were ugly. He said, I can fix those too, do you want them done now? My ears being repaired were as exciting as getting my eyes done. I could no longer wear earrings because they fell through the torn holes. Surgery was very fast and I opted out of taking anything to relax me and just had a local to numb the areas. I could have fell asleep because I was so relaxed and there was absolutely NO pain! So today is the day after surgery and I've taken 2 Tylenol since I've been home and nothing else! There has been absolutely NO PAIN!! I'm slightly bruised but not anything like I thought I would be and my eyes already look amazing! Needless to say, I am thrilled beyond words with his work and how wonderful and friendly he was when I met him. He makes you feel special and you can tell he cares! Heather is the best!!! She makes me feel like I have an entire team dedicated to making my face look perfect!! She has goals, treatment plans and coordinates them to what my dermatologist is prescribing!!! She's very in tune with the latest and greatest treatments. She's the best!!! A couple additional things to note, these are serious facials. I have struggled with acne, sun damage, dark spots and more.
