This is one of my families go to spot when we're at lost on what to do for dinner. The menu selection is pretty big and usually something for everyone. From pizza to steaks. Hosts and hostesses are always welcoming, and waiter and waitresses are almost always attentive. The restaurant itself can use a little more attention to cleanliness, such as wiping booths down or sweeping the trash out from under tables before seating the next party. Ruined by Michelle at Jonathan's Here's a funny yet pointed review based on your experience: Well, folks, today was supposed to be a day of celebration--my first meal as a proud new U.S. citizen! So naturally, I thought, "What better way to celebrate than to grab a bite at Jonathan's?" You know, the place that's usually great, where I've never had an issue at their other locations. But alas, I walked into the Twilight Zone, where the manager, Michelle, runs the show. I attempted to sit at my usual spot--a bar table high top with my wife and daughter. At other locations, no problem. But here? It was like I'd requested a seat on the moon. Michelle swooped in like she was defending the Alamo, immediately telling me I couldn't sit there because of some "over 21" rule. Alright, I get it, policies are policies, but when I asked to speak to her, I was met with the emotional warmth of a DMV employee on a Monday morning. It wasn't about moving--it was about how she handled it. Michelle had all the empathy of a robot. You know the type--arms crossed, defensive, giving me a masterclass in "How NOT to Manage Anything." Then she capped it all off with a cherry on top: "Didn't you read the sign?" Uh, no Michelle, I didn't, because post-brain surgery vision issues kinda make that hard. Ouch. If Michelle could offer one thing, it would be the world's least sincere "apology." I've been more moved by apologies from kids caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Oh, and just for extra salt in the wound, let's not forget this was supposed to be my first meal as a citizen. Welcome to America, where even a simple request at Jonathan's turns into a battlefield. So, Jonathan's, congratulations! Not only have I vowed to never return, but Michelle's incredible management skills have inspired me to tell everyone I know to steer clear. The food if you eat there is good . But the last two weeks I have ordered to go a hummus bowl add chicken $8 last week I received no rice or tomatoes just hummus and pitas and 3 skewers for 8$ 22 total for the dish ( prices of a steak) I called they said they would credit the chicken which never happened ... this week I received 2 small skewers for 8$ I could have bought 1.5 pounds of chicken for that ... I called Jada the manager told me I was lying because they designate skewers I do not weigh 300 pounds and am trying to steal food we both times were with friends and spent $400 at the table with my to go order. She said Michelle the general manager would tell me the same thing . I used to love them but with the economy and I took a photo of the the chicken on top of the hummus container to show that it was barely 2-3ounces of chicken . She didn't want to see that . Just tried to eat here. Waited at hostess stand for ten minutes. We were behind another couple who said they had been waiting awhile to be seated. Plenty of open tables. Plenty of people working there. No one else was waiting to be seated. We were completely ignored. read more

I have to say the food here is good. The servers are good. But you definitely pay for it! The food and cocktail prices are much to high. You would think you were downtown Nashville with the drink prices and NOT only that but there is a 14% tax on liquor. In my case I ended up paying $13.40 for a vodka and club soda plus tip. NOT only that but they add a "HOSPITALITY FEE" on your total check of 3%. They tried charging you if you used a credit card but I guess people got smart and started paying in cash whenever possible so they now charge the hospitality fee so everyone pays this JUNK FEE!! So, it 100% matters who you have as a server, here. Tonight was 5 stars because our waitress was awesome. She also just brought me two beers for happy hour though I didn't realize it was that time and didn't ask for it. She also fixed my order when it was wrong....because typically an "Avocado Club" has avocado on it. It's always super busy, and very very loud (especially in the bar area). They have a private lot though it can get pretty full, and they're open pretty late. They have all the sports games on their million TVs, so it's probably popular because it's a good place to watch a game, too. We've always been able to get a table quickly, but the food comes out pretty slow and it's just okay. Honestly? I think they leave stuff off all the time in the kitchen. I can't entirely blame them, though, the menu is massive. I've started taking pictures of the item I want on the menu so when it comes I can tell if they forgot something/ why it tastes "off". I recommend this to everyone that dines here. Their happy hour doesn't apply to their actual cocktail menu, for the record, only for beer (and I guess simple mixed drinks, like a whiskey & coke. As mentioned, their men is gigantic). I was disappointed in my salad the first time, though it isn't really a "salad" place. At least it was chopped. We came here by chance. We were not going to come here just based on the reviews and how many stars they have. Our food has always been good. The wait times can be long for both a table and your food. I wouldn't saw this is 5 stars but we have always had a good meal when coming here. I like the variety of the menu. Came here by chance. Talk about getting lucky. I waited 40 minutes for a table since it was 6 of us, which is something I never do. Was not looking forward to driving around to look for another place to eat with less wait time so we stuck around. We sat down and ordered some appetizers. Fried pickles, Buffalo dip and Brussel sprouts. All were good but the brussel sprouts were fantastic!!! For main course I had Mediterranean Bowl with Salmon and it was amazing!! Enjoyed a chicken scratch beer with the meal and totally was in delight. Worth the 40 minute wait. I will be going back soon since it's a hop skip and a jump from we're I stay. We tried the grill for the first time. We were checking out the Mt. Juliet area and found this coming out of Providence shopping area. I have to say the place looks small on the pullout side but much larger than I expected. Got seat right away. They did not skimp on the t.v, would be great for a place to hang for some games. We had immediate service, the waiter rocked. He got us drinks( Diet Coke and ice tea) and we ordered an appetizer, crispy Brussel sprouts. They definitely were crispy and had a good flavor but needed salt. We then ordered 10 wings ( bone in)with two different flavors- citrus is lime siracha and there house bam bam sauce. I have to say that the citrus lime siracha was amazing and I couldn't stop eating those, good flavor with minimum heat( I am a wimp with heat). I was looking forward to the bam bam sauced ones but it was not sauced much so asked for extra on the side. It was ok. The citrus lime siracha were definitely better. Had alfredo with grilled chicken. Chicken was too salty and didn't have anyother flavor. Alfredo sauce tasted like warmed milk, no garlic, no cheese. This was ordered to-go and the the buttered toast was wrapped in parchment paper and placed in the pasta container which caused it to be soggy by the time I sat down to eat. Stopped in for a to-go 8 inch double mushroom pizza on my way back to camp. Had to wait about 20 minutes for it, which wasn't too bad considering the place was really crowded. I just played games on my phone and the time passed pretty quickly. It seems to be a popular local place. Too noisy for me though. It has a sports bar feel, with plenty of TVs visible from everywhere. It has a pretty good size bar with more than one person working. The wait for service is minimal. The food was good, the service was horrible. I was told my meal came with two sides, I chose from the menu and was charged extra for the sides. One of my sides was a side salad, it came after the meal was brought out. The server never checked on us for drink refills. Also, noticed on the ticket they charge you extra for using a credit card. Just finished a wonderful dinner. The food, portions, service and ambiance were all terrific. Too many reviewers here are mentioning the credit card surcharge. Visited on 9/3/2022 Went here based on a recommendation from another guest staying in the hotel. It was conveniently located to the hotel so we decided to give it a try. For a holiday weekend night they weren't too busy, we only had to wait about 15 minutes. Alissa was our server and she was very friendly and courteous. We started with the pretzels as an appetizer which is served with marinara and queso. They we very good, my wife liked the marinara, I would have liked beer cheese but the queso was good. Card Users Beware!! This is a regular place we eat at. The service was great and the food was good. So why the low score? Because they are now charging a 3% service for on all debit and credit cards. They don't tell you this until you get the ticket and unless you read it carefully, you won't see where they will charge on all card transactions. The food was great. The Bam Bam shrimp tacos were soooo good! My only complaint is that there really weren't many sanitary measures taken. The COVID-19 restrictions were just lifted but no employees were wearing masks and there were no capacity requirements and people were packed in the bar area as if nothing ever happened. read more
