I found lots of items that I buy at the farmers market and it's good know I can find them here during the winter. For the bad, my mom and I went in. The young lady at the counter followed us mercilessly. Not just nearby or in the same section of the store, but right next to us at all times. It felt as though we were thieves just waiting to be caught. I understand watching overall, but it was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to shop. What sealed the deal for us was there were 20% signs all over the honey side of the store. And when we asked a question about a lotion we wanted to buy, she said sorry the sale was over. Rather than honor the sale and take the signs down, she did not honor it. We decided to not to purchase because it felt wrong that it was not honored. Prices here are extremely high, which I understand with hand made local items, but to not honor a discount that was clearly marked on top of that, was off putting. It's sad because it only harms the locals putting there items in the store.

I was surprised it wasn't just local honey, but apparently the bee keeper moves his bees to other areas in the winter so he gets honey from other states as well. They are all set up for tasting and have all the honeys in a row. Some have very distinctive flavors and it's cool to taste how different they can all be. They were out of my favorite but I got the second best local to take home. They also carry fresh maple syrup and other items all around the shop it's nicely set up it was all about honey and talking to Rima for me so I failed to take photos. Local honey is what I was looking for and I found some. Rima was so sweet. It was lovely talking to her about the beekeeper and what they do here as well as other places in the area to visit etc. come check them out when your driving through the valley.
