The dimly lit environment lends itself beautifully for a cocktail paired with some delicious food. Whether you choose to dine dressed to the nines or with a simple outfit you are bound to enjoy their large selection of perfectly cooked items.

Jones is your classic Italian affair and is a new favorite spot for me. The portions are sizable and great for sharing with friends and family. I came with a group of 4 and we got the Calamari for an appetizer and then shared 2 pizzas and a pasta together. Of the pizzas I recommend the White pizza which has garlic and truffle oil (yummm). I also really liked the Rigatoni Carbonara pasta. Usually you don't think of rigatoni with carbonara but it works and I liked that the sauce was rich and creamy. We also got a Brownie for dessert which was super decadent and had a very generous scoop of ice cream on top. I suggest you also make a reservation in advance because as soon as they open at night there was already a line out front. Just note you have to call during daytime hours to make a reservation even though they are "closed" then.

Cute & charming Italian spot. They have happy hour later at night, even on weekdays. They have some pretty standard drinks and food. We got the bolognese pasta and the ravioli, which were flavorful and comforting. Definitely worth checking out if you want a late night bite!

Govt Mule Orchiette with turkey sausage White pizza with marinara Fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream I had the honor of having Austin as my waiter. He was avery chill dude but also very considerate and mindful on what I ordered. I enjoyed all of his recommendations and the govt mule SMACKED for someone who doesn't like alcohol. It's a very romantic and intimate spot but it's also a solid space to spend time with friends and family. Couldn't finish everything because I had a burrito before hand but I'd definitely support this spot whether you're solo or not. Funny thing was that I coincidentally was waiting long enough til happy hour to apply but I only ordered the pasta cause the pizza looked BUSSIN!

I can't believe I'm just now finding out about Jones! One of the best late night spots in LA. From the moment you walk in, it feels like home. The service was great, and the food was incredible. I loved the spaghetti & meatballs. The portions are big, and enough to split. The restaurant was packed on a Sunday night. You can't go wrong with the menu. I will definitely be dining here again.

Cool looking lamp on the bar where we sat.

Haven't been here since before the pandemic so I was looking forward to returning. Met a friend here on a late Sunday evening for a bite to eat and some beers. We arrived a little after 11p and it wasn't crowded. We found a couple of seats above the bar that overlooks the dimly lit dining room. We agreed on sharing a BBQ Chicken Pizza and we each had a couple of beers. My beers were non-alcoholic and I appreciate they had that option. The pizza arrived quickly and was served very warm. It was very flavorful with the right amount of BBQ sauce for our liking. We wished there was more chicken on the pizza. There wasn't much on this thin crust pie. After finishing our pizza we had a couple of beers and enjoyed the people watching. The service was okay as we had to call over the bartender whenever we wanted to reorder. He was hanging out and talking with other customers the entire time we were there. He wasn't rude, but he also wasn't attentive. At least not to us. I've been here several times before and always had a great experience. Good comfort food with friendly and attentive service. Tonight was a little off, but it didn't ruin the evening. Big shout out to the doormen that evening. Very friendly and gracious in their welcoming us to Jones. The same experience when we left for the evening. Very nice touch as not all doormen in LA are friendly. Open late every evening. Street parking is usually easy to find. No valet on the Sunday night we were there.

A classic Italian restaurant with a great late night scene. Grabbed dinner here on a Saturday night. They're known for their martinis, got a dirty it was good. The pizza sauce was great but crust was lacking, we ordered the Farro salad you can SKIP this. It had no flavor. Their fries were delicious & the burrata was good. I would give it a 3.5/5. Service & ambiance was great! Food is lacking a little but we enjoyed our night nonetheless. Would be back for late night drinks!

Ambience is definitely there. Even for a Tuesday. Seating capacity is well laid out with the bar in the center in the lounge area surrounding it. The food was delicious. The short ribs were tender and tasty. Pizza was tasty and the crush was just right and spaghetti and meatballs are the classic dish list place which were outstanding. The sauce was delicious as well. All house wine was standing tasting but delicious. Would recommend especially if you have friends visiting from out of town.

The right place to go. Atmosphere- top-notch. Food - perfect. Service - welcoming and kind. Now into the details. We cam very late, right before they were closing with one last couple of people. We were seated promptly with no wait in almost a FULL restaurant at night. A loot of people, rambling around on dates or at the vintage bar. The design of the place is old, leather-, wood- style interior. Great taste. Feels like an actual whole in the wall as you can barely find an entrance door. Hidden unless you are looking for it. Price point was great - we came with the family of four - it came down to 160$ I think. For this quality of the service, food, location and such a vibe - great price. We got 2 deserts, 2 pastas, 1 pizza, ginger beer and I think plain water. Ohh, as far as I remember they ask you for what type of water you want - if you choose tap water - only then will it be free. Otherwise it will cost you 8$ for a glass bottle. Outrageous? Yes. But I could've known better. Overall 5/5. Coming back

Jones was such a cool find--I was just looking for somewhere local after moving out here and had no idea this place had so much character. If you love older architecture and vintage-style spots, they've kept it feeling really original and classic. It's perfect for an intimate date night, a night out with friends, or even just taking yourself out. The bar is great, and even the bathroom stands out with all the photos covering the walls--it adds to the experience. The food was amazing with a good variety to choose from, and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. The servers were great as well, but honestly, the ambience is what really makes this place special.

We were craving Italian food after a concert and showed up around 11PM. We were met by the security guard with the beard at the door who told it would be an approximately 45 min wait, which wasn't surprising to us on a Friday night with only some places still open. He was super nice joking with us and openining the doors for us and making sure we didn't trip. I noticed he was checking on guests leaving and making sure they got into the correct Ubers and opening the car doors for them as well. After the wait, which was pretty accurately 45 mins, we were seated and helped relatively quickly. For a late night bite, honestly everything was pretty good. BBQ Chicken Pizza: 10/10; I love that it was thin crust but not floppy. It was pretty crispy and flavorful, but the bbq flavor wasn't too overwhelming. Spaghetti and meatballs: 9/10; I was surprised it came out in a skillet but the meat sauce was good and the spaghetti was cooked just right. My friend had been craving meatballs and she was a fan. Wood Roasted Veggies: 10/10; Honestly I wasn't expecting to like this that much but each of the veggies had a lot of flavor. This season had carrots (my fav), brussel sprouts, beets, and mushrooms. Apple Pie for 2: 7/10; This definitely was PACKED with apples and was definitely more filling than crust. We actually really likes the crust and kind of wished there was a bit more of it. The apple wasn't too sweet, I'd say it actually leaned a bit tart. It was pretty good paired with the ice cream though. The place is dimly lit and the noise level is definitely loud but we were still able to hear each other talk. The decor inside was fun as well. Staff were super nice and our server was attentive. A great place to go for a late night bite or for a drink.

My second time here and it's amazing. We came at 7:30 with no reservation- had about an hour pleasant wait time. Got a delicious margarita at the bar/seated area. For dinner, had the veggie pizza (super yum, highly recommend) , bruschetta , artichoke and brownie. I felt the last 3 items were okay, no bad. The pizza, drinks , great service and amazing vibes took the spotlight!!

The restaurant is beautiful and reminds me of being in Mexico. A Spanish theme and style. A lot of seating and it's also spacious with an outdoor patio that is open to the customers and also widely used for many event. Everything was clean from what I noticed. The music volume was tolerable as well as the selection of choice. Felt like I was on vacation for a min. A great spot to have drinks. A great to spot to meet up or even come for a date. The Melrose Mule was cool. Very refreshing like the bartender mentioned. It was different than the usual mules I get. And the Improved Whiskey was like having an Old Fashion and Whiskey Sour together. It did not disappoint. I also had an attentive bartender who had a good attitude. Didn't take long for him to make my drinks nor put in an order for a smash burger. The smash burger was acceptable. It was good, however, I was expecting something a little bit bigger in size. I like the presentation with it being wrapped in foil. It was cooked perfectly, it was hot and flavorful. No complaints other than the size. I wouldn't mind pulling back up for another happy hour when I'm back in the area. They have some more drinks I would love to try.

The food was just as memorable. The chicken Parmesan was everything you want it to be: crispy, flavorful, and topped with a rich, perfectly balanced marinara and plenty of melted cheese. One thing to know before you go: parking can be a nightmare. There is valet in front, or you can opt for parking in the surrounding neighborhood. You're better off grabbing a rideshare if you can. It makes the experience much easier, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks. Between the beautiful ambiance, generous portions, and delicious food, this is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

We originally…read morewanted to try another restaurant, but it was completely booked, so we looked for somewhere new to explore. Met Him At A Bar seemed like a good option, and one of my girlfriends made a reservation for four. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM. I street-parked and walked to the restaurant, where one of my friends was waiting outside. I asked why she wasn't sitting at our table, and she told me that our table was right by the entrance. She didn't like that spot and thought the tables farther inside looked much more comfortable and cozy. Since people were sitting at one of those tables, she wanted to wait until they left. Personally, I thought the table by the entrance was perfectly fine, but I was also STARVING! Another friend arrived and also disliked the table, so we decided to wait. After a while, I was getting way too hungry, so we sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and drinks while waiting. I first ordered the Garlic Shrimp and asked if it was spicy. I was told it was, so I asked if they could make it without the spice because I can't eat spicy food. He said he would check with the kitchen, but since I was starving and it sounded like it might take too long, I changed my order to Garlic Bread. One of my girlfriends ordered a glass of wine, and since she had made the reservation and gone through the trouble of arranging everything, I treated her to the wine and garlic bread. Then, of course, our friend who is ALWAYS late arrived about 30 minutes late! By then, the rest of us had already decided what to order from the Dine LA menu. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible, so we ordered different items and shared everything. When our late friend arrived, we ordered his dishes separately. For the first course, we had Caesar Salad, Bruschetta, and Meatballs. For the second course, we ordered Rigatoni Vodka, Cacio e Pepe, and Margherita Pizza. For dessert, everyone ordered Tiramisu. Overall, I thought the food was good. My favorites were the Bruschetta, Meatballs, Rigatoni Vodka, and Tiramisu. The Cacio e Pepe was not my favorite because I thought they used way too much black pepper, and my other friends agreed. Our group had mixed reactions overall. Except for one person, the other two felt the food didn't quite live up to their expectations and were somewhat disappointed. But everyone's taste is different, so I completely understand. Considering how expensive everything has become these days, I thought the Dine LA price was pretty reasonable. It was $45 per person, and with tax and tip, it came to $60 each. For that price, I thought the amount of food and the overall experience were pretty good. I also really appreciated how friendly and attentive all the staff members were. I usually don't drink alcohol, and especially when I'm driving, I NEVER drink--not even a sip. That has been my personal rule for decades. So I just ordered water, and I loved how the staff kept coming by and refilling my glass whenever it got low. I drink a LOT of water, so I really appreciated their attentiveness. Now, about parking: valet parking is $17. I decided to street-park instead. One of my friends also street-parked, but unfortunately she got a parking ticket and was VERY upset. I had originally found a spot where a sign said a parking permit was required, so I decided not to take the risk and moved my car. Before leaving, I asked a man walking his dog if it was okay to park there. He said he had seen many cars parked there and they had been fine, but I still didn't trust it because the sign clearly said permits were required. I told him, "I don't think that's allowed." He was very nice and suggested going about three blocks farther, where there was plenty of street parking without a permit. I followed his advice and parked there. Unfortunately, my friend who stayed in the permit-only spot ended up getting a ticket. Another friend parked in the parking structure across the street and said it cost $18. Since I had parked farther away and didn't want to walk alone at night, I asked him to drop me off at my car after dinner, and he kindly did. So my parking recommendation is to use the $17 valet or street-park about three blocks away where no permit is required. I definitely would NOT recommend parking in the permit-only spaces unless you want to risk getting a ticket. One of the funniest things about this neighborhood is the restaurant names. The restaurant we went to is called "Met Him At A Bar," and literally right across the street is "Met Her At A Bar." There's also another restaurant called "The Night We Met." I have to say, the names are pretty creative and definitely make this neighborhood more fun! Overall, we had a fun evening together, and for $60 per person including tax and tip, I thought it was a pretty decent Dine LA experience.
