I want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to the amazing lady who rang me up on the cold, windy, rainy first day of fall. I think her name was Christie or Chrissy (sorry if I got that wrong there was a lot going on). I came in, an exhausted first time mom and frontline healthcare worker and she handed me a TON of food to help me through the next few days so I didn't have to cook and could focus on my new family!! A well stocked store most anything you could need for a last minute party or impromptu picnic...including a super great take-out section and any adult beverage that you can think of. Selection and Price can't be beat by any other party store in our area. Brand new store is beautiful spotlessly clean, staff is helpful and the location is an easy in and out with great parking. read more

Jonna's has scotch. I've heard they have pizza and cheese sticks and Greek food to go, but I cannot confirm those allegations. All I can speak to is the scotch. The Glens are nice (Fiddich & Livet), but every store stocks those... and I'm not a effing bank. $40 a bottle?! My job at the Census Bureau cannot afford such affluent pleasures. But my friend Jonna understands that not all of us are wealthy astronauts, firefighters, or Porbeagle poachers. Jonna stocks scotches for the common man like Speyburn & Tomatin. These single malt scotches are nearly the same price as a Dewars, the main difference is that they don't taste identical to Cutty Sark like Dewars does. So don't be a Jabroni. Go to Jonna's and pick up some Speyburn. read more

This place is amazing! They've got the biggest selection of liquor and if there's a chance they don't have what you're looking for, they usually can get it! They also have a great selection of mixers, beer, wines, and typical beverages you'd find in a party store. About the beer... I should also mention their vast walk-in cooler! If you need a keg, this is the place to go. If you need some cigars, also here! Then there's the food... This place has a full kitchen and they've got lots of options. The pizza isn't my favorite but the rest of their stuff is great! So if you're having a party; from a small get-together, to a full blown house party, this is the place to get your party stuff! read more

I needed some beverages to-go and this place is this pits. It's obvious that they don't care about their customers, because their staff don't wear masks. Further, half of the people coming in and out of here aren't wearing masks. I've been in Michigan for less than a month and I've bought alcohol from here before but today, all of a sudden, they denied services to me. I have a Guam id(yes it's a U.S. ID) I'm nearly 22. My sister said she saw the guy cover the scanning bar before he scanned it. I asked the other cashier if she could rescan it and she said "I don't feel comfortable because it's vertical and it's out of state" well where was this problem the last few times?? Overall, this place was great, until today. I feel offended, discriminated and very upset. read more

Prices have gone WAY up and quality is WAY down. Chicken looked dried out. Italian sub appeared as if the meat and cheese were sold separately. 12 pack of Stella Artois is $17.99 versus $13.99 across the street. It used to be my favorite store but not any more. Sad. read more

Love this little neighborhood market/deli/pizza place/liquor store etc! It wears many hats... But, it does all wonderfully, with it having a great selection of alcohol and excellent quality of food items (pizza, hot and cold deli). The only complaint I have is that their wine prices are quite steep. I think many people go to Jonna's out of convenience and don't really care about the high wine prices. On a lazy day, I am one of those people. I recommend making the extra effort and going across the street to Kroger for better wine prices. Otherwise, well done Jonna's! read more

We were getting really tired of all of the chain pizza places. Our neighbor had Jonnas one night when we went for dinner. The sauce was perfect for or tastes. The breadsticks are good. I think you get a lot for your money and it is always great to support a local business. We have used then for out last 5 or 6 birthday parties. I live in NC and whenever I go visit friends in Howell I make sure I stop in to Jonna's as often as time allows. I can't begin to tell you how fantastic this place is! The prepared food is outstanding and the selection of goods they offer in the store is unbelievable for the space they inhabit. Here in NC the liquor stores are state-run and so boring with limited selection. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I step into Jonna's! The people there are always so nice, too. We were having a party last weekend and I really needed a good deal on pizza for about 20 people. I saw this place right up the street so I located a phone number and called in an order. The only problem was, I didn't pick the right location (who knew there were two?)...so, when I went to pick up my order it wasn't there but at the other location. Luckily they are about 2 miles from one another but, I was really going for convenience that day and it didn't work out. However, I must say, the pizza and breadsticks were better than I would have imagined. The food in marketside is great but once you get to the cashiers you need to watch your p's and q's. I came to this location simply to buy some liquor I get greeted by the rudest cashier ever she didn't want it sell me alcohol because she said my Michigan driver's license looks fake because it has green lettering on it I am a CDL holder or for those of you who don't know what that means commercial driver's license my license has green lettering on it she said my license look fake I simply told her I am a commercial driver she still didn't want to sell me my alcohol, it wasn't until the other cashier came up to her and said he has a CDL he's all good. I don't understand why the fuck wouldnt you wouldn't scan my license then if it looks fake I think this cashier needs to be fired for her poor customer service. Do yourself a favor drive mile and a half south of that location next to the Howell Hardware there's a jonnas to go they have much friendlier staff then the main jonnas I will be giving that one my business from here on out. read more

Recently this family owned and operated corner market built a new store at the same location and it's absolutely beautiful, right down to the granite counter tops! But fancy counter tops are not the reason I go there. The Jonna family has been a fixture here for many years and an important part of the community. They have always offered good deli food, great pizza, grocery items, and great service, in addition to going out of their way to please their customers and give back to the community. The new store features an upscale atmosphere with even more deli foods, groceries, fine wines, an elaborate liquor department and of course their signature pizza! This is a family owned business that has successfully made the transition from a small corner market to a snazzy upscale enterprise without sacrificing the good service, and friendly atmosphere that has made them successful. read more

I think it is the ideal corner market. They have the pre-pakaged products you would normally visit a convenience store for, and it has whatever alcohol you could want, but what sets it apart is its freshly prepared food (pizza, breadsticks, chicken, etc). Jonna's has the best whiskey selection I've seen in Howell. It's second only to the Canopy in selection that I've seen in Livingston County. I've actually gotten some things at Jonna's they don't carry at the Canopy. I'll change this to 5* if they have Yellow Spot next time I'm there. read more
