The microfiber towels are nice and honestly my favorite part of coming here. But this past week I decided to get my car detailed after a friend had gotten carsick and vomited on my passenger seat, unfortunately seeping into the seat and crevices. I was pretty disappointed in the end result for the $225 spent. For a detailing service, I did not feel like there was an eye for detail and that I could have done a better job cleaning my car. When I came to look at the final result, there were still parts of the seat that had dried up vomit in the crevices and the floor mats didn't look like they had been properly cleaned (there were still stains and on the back side of the mat, it didn't look clean). I pointed this out to a staff member and she had the detailing employee come back and clean it, which I appreciated. However, he still missed some spots where there was dried vomit (I acknowledge that they were in the crevices of the seat, but isn't a detailing service supposed to be for catching those hard to reach spots?). In my frustration, I just ended up cleaning up the floor mats myself at RipTide and when I got home, I went back in and scrubbed the missed vomit stains on the plastic parts of the seat. I also noticed that the fabric on the driver's side still had a stain. Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend this car wash anymore especially not for detailing and am so disappointed by the end product of the detailing services even after asking the staff member if he could take a look at my car again.

He told me that they only do by appointment only and I asked him some follow up questions and explained that I had tried to call the number several times. I'm not sure why they don't have someone answering the phone regularly, but he got me right in and treated me to the carpet clean! I will definitely be back as they did an amazing job and I don't really care what the cost will be in the future as they took such great care of me.

The made me drive my truck myself and then none of the little grit and dog hair was even touch. $50 car detail and it looked like I went through a Sheetz car wash. Not what I paid for and very unhappy. It will be hard to go back unfortunately.

It worked perfectly for me because I was going to be in Durham for the day. The process from pulling in the parking lot to getting your car back once it's finished was absolutely seamless. Everyone was so nice and the process was quick. Since it was my first time there, the first attendant walked me through all the options, and there are a lot of them. Once you let them know what package you want and you pull up to the designated area, you're directed inside where you pay and there's a very comfortable waiting area. They also have a great selection of beverages and snacks. There are also several options of things to purchase for your car, like air fresheners, chargers, etc. It was a beautiful day out, so I decided to sit outside on the spacious patio with tables, chairs and other seating. At one point, there were 4 people working on my car once it came out of the washing tunnel, one inside each door. They got every nook and cranny in my car. Hand wiping and vacuuming, I was so impressed. They called me by my car when it was finished. I was fortunate enough to meet one of the owners, he took part in the awesome cleaning of my car himself. It's a family run business. They did the best job, and I have recommended them to every in the Triangle.

En route from my disappointing appointment back home, I stopped at Wellstone Auto Spa on a whim to see if I could make an appointment. I met Jay and Adam that day, who were both enthusiastic about taking on the spruce-up exercise. Jay was particularly familiar with my car, having had experience with Alfas from his past. The work he suggested and quoted seemed appropriate for the purpose and also a fair price. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome! The work was meticulous, perfectly executed, and included attention to details that I feel only I would have thought of myself! The team there seemed to think of everything that would matter in photographs for the online auction site where Bianca was to be sold. Indeed, Jay thought of areas that would demonstrate the overall asking price for the car. His advice turned out to be on-the-mark, as well! Ultimately, I was able to keep the appointment with the professional photographer and to post the materials to support an online auction of interesting autos. She sold easily and achieved a good price with no haggling required! My other car is an ordinary Mazda 3, but Jay and Adam encouraged me to bring her around and they'll give her a spruce up, too! On arrival, what they said they could and could not be done was discussed and approved. The only low expectation was on the rooftop, as it was pretty UV damaged. [I figured that would be a later paint job.] It was available for them to have several hours longer than what they projected they needed, but they had it ready a few hours later. On pickup, the hood (the major show piece on any vehicle) looked like cracks (not visible at all when I brought it in) were all over it with wax down in the cracks and a seal put on top. A small area on the passenger side rear quarter panel and just below the rear door, picked up dirt like a magnet (likely wasn't even a waxed area). The mat cover on the driver floor felt like it had an oil coating on it, not water, but oil coating, making it unsafe to get on a shoe for slippage which I had to ask them to remove. The black trim didn't seem "refreshed" (on most it was, but not all - I handled what wasn't with some WD-40 later). The rest was okay. OVERALL - I would NEVER spend that kind of money for this shop to detail it. They likely do okay with once a month washed and waxed vehicles, but for those who don't keep up - this is NOT the place for you to bring it.

Prestige Mobile Detailing did an A+ exterior and interior detailing job on my old car. If you're…read morelooking for a great, reliable, and reasonably-priced mobile detailer in the Triangle, I recommend these guys. I found Prestige via Yelp. I did a search for mobile detailers in my area. I actually landed on New Life Auto Spa first. I used Yelp's "Request a Quote" button to get an estimate from New Life. Yelp ended up sending out requests on my behalf to five different mobile detailers in the area. Prestige was one of them. It turned out New Life only does mobile detailing for Apex and Cary (I'm in Chapel Hill). Ladean at New Life quoted me an outside detail for $275 if I brought my car to his shop. For my small car, that's expensive. In 2020, I paid $85 for a wash and wax from Wash N Werk. In 2021, I paid $79 to Showroom Shine for a wash and wax. Before tip. So, New Life's $275 quote for an exterior detail alone seemed exorbitant to me. It must have included extras I didn't know about. Josue, owner of Prestige, replied to me on Yelp with a quote of $75 flat. The best deal yet. However, I believe you get what you pay for. Prestige exceeded my expectations and provided great value. Josue was a good communicator and answered all the questions I had via Yelp messaging and text. Josue was flexible and available when it came to scheduling. He showed up promptly at our appointment time of 10am on a Thursday morning. After meeting Josue and his assistant Justin in person, I asked Josue if he could do an interior detail too. Specifically, I asked for my leather to be cleaned and conditioned. He said he could do it for an additional $65 and that he usually charges $80 for it. So, $140 total for the exterior and interior detail job. Considering I paid about $155 total to Wash N Werk for an exterior (including ceramic sealant) and interior detail job a couple years ago, I thought Josue's additional quote was reasonable. I ended up tipping $20 for a $160 total. Prestige did something to my interior that no other detailer has done - they made my rubber mats look new and shiny. I also noticed a fine attention to detail to the nearly 22-year-old chrome around my gear shifter. They cleaned and polished it to a level I hadn't seen since I used to detail my car myself. It was shiny and spotless. Payment was done via Square. It was convenient because I could pay using my phone. I didn't need to hand over a physical card or cash or anything like that. Take a look at the pictures I uploaded here on Yelp to see the outstanding job that Josue and Justin did. My car is a 2001 model year, built in 2000. At the time that Josue and Justin worked on it, it had 284,300 miles on it. Original paint, trim, molding, wheels, headlights, leather, etc. They made my car look terrific, inside and out. Josue was very responsive via Yelp messaging and text. He told me he uses wax products (spray, hand, buffing) from P&S and Chemical Guys. He also mentioned clay bar to me. I don't know what all he and Justin used on my car, but I did tell him up front that I mostly care about protecting and extending the life of my paint, leather, headlights, etc., which Josue understood. Josue told me he became the new owner of Prestige in September 2021 (coming up on a year now), but has been in the car detailing business for years. He and Justin arrived in an unmarked white work van. They worked on my car for a solid 2+ hours which is a little longer than most mobile detailers I've used, but that's not a bad thing. What I love about mobile detailers is they come to you and there's certainly value in that.

When I brought them the invoice and tried to file a complaint, I was met with aggression, foul language, and zero accountability.
