On our last two days in Bar Harbor, we were craving a good old-fashioned breakfast -- no frills, no foam art, just real food. Jordan's turned out to be exactly what we needed. It's an excellent classic diner -- friendly, chatty service, the kind that makes you feel like a regular even if you're just passing through, and simple, home-style food that hits the spot. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with that comforting "made-with-love" vibe. And let's talk about the blueberry muffins -- warm, soft, and perfectly paired with a hot cup of coffee. Maine blueberries never disappoint, and neither did Jordan's. Bottom line: if you want a hearty, no-nonsense breakfast served with a smile before your next hike or ferry ride, Jordan's is the place.

Came here for breakfast. They are extremely busy but very quick. We were seated and after we ordered we got our food almost immediately. It is a diner, very traditional. Food was pretty decent and portions were large. Ambiance is very traditional diner place, with booths, and simple menu. If you would like some simple breakfast, that's a great place.

Yep, that's a very reasonably priced breakfast for one!

Fueled up at Jordan's before a day of real cycling--not electric--in Acadia. My mate had a breakfast large enough for a family of four while I chowed down on an exceptionally large slice of delectable quiche. Not to be missed: the amazing blueberry muffin! Service was excellent, our coffee cups never ran dry!

Came in around 6 AM and there were a few booths available. We are seated immediately and given waters and can order coffee soon after. My partner and I split a stack of the blueberry pancakes with the blueberry syrup and a side of bacon. The good: service is fast and efficient. We were in and out within an hour. Attentive but not overly so. We got what we needed. The blueberry syrup was a lifesaver. Truly the best part of the experience. The bad: for a place famous for their pancakes, they were undercooked and had no flavor. Took a bite without the syrup and was so disappointed. The prices were high for what you got- 5.50 for 3 pieces of bacon. Between two people with coffees it was over $30 and pretty unsatisfying.

Food: The food was alright and pricey (probably due to the tourist traps around). The blueberry muffin was great! The sausages were a bit greasy. Service: Very friendly and quick. Ambiance: I love the traditional diner feel of this place! The restaurant is right in town so it gets very busy early on! We arrived a little before 8 am and we were seated right away. The restaurant had people in it, but it started getting busier right around 8:15-8:30 AM.

Blueberry pancakes are great. Everything else is fine, but didn't blow me away. A bit pricy overall and small portions, but the pancakes salvaged the experience. Was fairly busy early AM so prepare to potentially wait for a table. It's a "pay up front" kind of place so when you're finished you don't need to wait for someone to take your card and come back. Overall, worth trying if you like or want blueberry pancakes. Otherwise, at least based on the rest of the food we had, probably skippable.

Best lobster roll ever! Cute lil mom and pop diner. Put butter on your blueberry muffin

They open quite early which we like when traveling 5 AM to be exact which is great ! Tons of parking spaces in the morning. Hearty breakfast including blueberry pancakes w/ Maine maple syrup to fuel you up for your day. Waitress had plenty of helpful tips exploring the surrounding area of Bar Harbor.

Not a bad price for the amount of food we got which we split

The best and probably cheapest breakfast we had while in town! They tell you to sit wherever you like. Service was fast and excellent! The blueberry waffle and muffin was LOADED with blueberries! I didn't even need the blueberry syrup which was more of a compost but it was delicious! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for Blueberry Pancakes in Bar Harbor, this is the place! The most blueberry-ish blueberry pancakes I've ever had!

A very quaint family owned restaurant. The blueberry muffins were just delightful and what I wanted to eat in Main. We had the traditional classic American breakfast with blueberry pancakes, eggs, and bacon just like anywhere else. It was delicious. I also had the blueberry soda because I kept wanting to hear it and I finally got to try it. It was really good. We also had the cheese and lobster omelette as well as the ham and cheese omelette. Those were great. Coffee was also good. The cream of the was blueberry pie with ice cream while it was very very expensive. It was definitely worth eating. Service was nice. People were enjoyable and it was a nice breakfast for the family.

Convenient and tasty! Service is great and staff are all so friendly. You order at your seat but you later go and pay at the front register. Lobster roll was a bit pricey but tasty. The blueberry pancakes with wild blueberry sauce were a must get for us. We got it two days in a row!!

This was a nice little find before taking a Kayaking trip in the bay. I had the tuna melt and clam chowder, my friend had the lobster roll. I got a blueberry muffin to go. Service was a slow throughout. It was good that we included a lot of extra time before we had to meet for the kayaking excursion. The food was good. The weirdest part was my friend and I split the check. She paid first, and I paid after using the bathroom. I probably could have walked out and not paid since I kept getting put off while standing in line to pay. I think they thought I was waiting for a seat because so many people came to grab to go food and got to pay. It was a little odd because we had been sitting at the table right next to the cash register. I was finally able to pay after the lady at the register said that [my] table hadn't finished paying, and I said I had been standing there waiting to pay. They forgot to add the chapstick that I wanted to buy on the bill, so I just left it and went because I didn't want to wait any longer, we had to meet for the trip. Overall, if you're in a rush, don't go here, but it was a nice experience.

I needed some protein to hold me until an early dinner, because three squares is waaaaay too much in this foodie town. Anyway- I ordered a plain bagel with egg, sausage and cheese. Hubs had an everything bagel with smoked salmon, tomatoes, cream cheese and capers. Both were divine - hot, crispy exterior and nice, soft, doughy interior. Hubs loved his latte, and my dark roast was deliciously rich. They must grind their beans, because the flavor was so satisfying. After we finished, Hubs ordered a strawberry and Nutella crepe. Our counter guy was helpful and friendly. They have quick service, too. The inside is cozy, and they have plenty of outside seating. We are returning tomorrow until we have to leave for another town on our vacay. This is not to be missed!

If you decide to sit outside fear not they will come outside and call your name when your order is ready. If you're taking a whale cruise, Sunrise cafe is conveniently located next to the waiting lines when you head down towards the doc. Otherwise if you didn't know it was there it might be hard to find. Not easily seen from the front of the building. If you enter the building you have to go down two flights of stairs and make a left. So it really is a hidden gem. There are pastries and breakfast items available, I got the avocado toast, it's got A LOT of avocado on it so I scrapped a bit off and spread the rest, with a delectable balsamic glaze. AMAZING.
