Friendly, fast, and good! We stopped at Jordan's for a quick bite and the place is a fast diner. Family owned and you can feel it. The menu doesn't have a lot of options, but plenty to choose from - lots of blueberry things! We opted for eggs Benedict with their home fries (potatoes) and a side of blueberry pancakes with their signature blueberry syrup (extra cost but worth it). Server was friendly and fast

Stopped in after a sunrise hike and was exactly what the crew needed! The waitstaff was so kind and bubbly, we felt right at home! The blueberry syrup for the pancakes was so good! Loved the old school diner feel and was easy to get a table right away!

Great family-owned restaurant vibes where they churn out the food super-quick despite being incredibly busy. I walked by the grill on the way to wash my hands and they had a lot going on. Blueberry muffin is great homemade taste, just don't expect the sugar-cake bomb that is typical these days. This is simple and fluffy and highlights the local blueberries. Egg sandwich was good despite an undercooked (and a bit soggy) English muffin. Kids loved the pancakes. I was surprised to see log cabin syrup on the table in this area, but they would probably waste a lot of the real stuff in a place this busy.

Came here after the morning sunrise drive hike in Acadia and this was one of the like two places that were open. The server was super friendly and was great at helping us navigate the menu, even in our disoriented and tired state! Blueberry sauce on the pancakes was so good, and everything else was pretty on par. Would highly recommend this classic diner feel place to anyone in town on an early morning.

I had been wanting to go to this place for their known blueberry pancakes with my boyfriend whose family (Farnsworth) have known the restaurant for a very long time! The staff was sweet to get us a booth and place two types of cheeses on my boyfriend's omelet. Aunt Pam had the Belgian waffles with strawberries, I had the blueberry waffles with mains signature maple syrup and my boo had the blueberry biscuit and omelet. We all had coffee and it was so great to have gotten a voucher to shop at the store next door. This place was very busy but spacious with booths to sit at.

A very comfy cozy restaurant that offers a nostalgic experience. The restaurant opens at 5am daily and is such a vibe. I got the pancakes with blueberries, nothing unique but it wasn't bad either. The service was extremely quick and my waitress was extremely friendly. Definitely worth an experience! The pancakes costed $16.

We came to Jordan's early before heading into the park. The service is definitely extremely fast, which is great if you're looking for an In-and-out breakfast spot prior to an early morning hike. I will say the blueberry pancake was excellent. I even purchased the blueberry syrup to go. However, the coffee wasn't good, I'd actually venture to say It was bad. Which to me it's important at a breakfast spot ! The eggs were also just okay.

OMG! What a DELICIOUS spot for breakfast! My girlfriends and I are STILL mindblown from the fresh blueberries in the blueberry pancakes, blueberry syrup produced in ME, and the blueberry pie! WOW! What a treat to be in Maine! I love that this diner is open as early as 5AM, it makes it easy to plan a day with a hearty breakfast followed with an ambitious hike around Acadia. I wish I had a picture of the food, but I ate that gigantic stack of blueberry pancakes SO FAST! The staff are friendly and welcoming, I appreciate their recommendations for things to do in the local area.

On our last two days in Bar Harbor, we were craving a good old-fashioned breakfast -- no frills, no foam art, just real food. Jordan's turned out to be exactly what we needed. It's an excellent classic diner -- friendly, chatty service, the kind that makes you feel like a regular even if you're just passing through, and simple, home-style food that hits the spot. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with that comforting "made-with-love" vibe. And let's talk about the blueberry muffins -- warm, soft, and perfectly paired with a hot cup of coffee. Maine blueberries never disappoint, and neither did Jordan's. Bottom line: if you want a hearty, no-nonsense breakfast served with a smile before your next hike or ferry ride, Jordan's is the place.

Came here for breakfast. They are extremely busy but very quick. We were seated and after we ordered we got our food almost immediately. It is a diner, very traditional. Food was pretty decent and portions were large. Ambiance is very traditional diner place, with booths, and simple menu. If you would like some simple breakfast, that's a great place.

Yep, that's a very reasonably priced breakfast for one!

Fueled up at Jordan's before a day of real cycling--not electric--in Acadia. My mate had a breakfast large enough for a family of four while I chowed down on an exceptionally large slice of delectable quiche. Not to be missed: the amazing blueberry muffin! Service was excellent, our coffee cups never ran dry!

Came in around 6 AM and there were a few booths available. We are seated immediately and given waters and can order coffee soon after. My partner and I split a stack of the blueberry pancakes with the blueberry syrup and a side of bacon. The good: service is fast and efficient. We were in and out within an hour. Attentive but not overly so. We got what we needed. The blueberry syrup was a lifesaver. Truly the best part of the experience. The bad: for a place famous for their pancakes, they were undercooked and had no flavor. Took a bite without the syrup and was so disappointed. The prices were high for what you got- 5.50 for 3 pieces of bacon. Between two people with coffees it was over $30 and pretty unsatisfying.

Food: The food was alright and pricey (probably due to the tourist traps around). The blueberry muffin was great! The sausages were a bit greasy. Service: Very friendly and quick. Ambiance: I love the traditional diner feel of this place! The restaurant is right in town so it gets very busy early on! We arrived a little before 8 am and we were seated right away. The restaurant had people in it, but it started getting busier right around 8:15-8:30 AM.

However, we weren't too tired to eat it, so we had the food delivered from Side Street Cafe. So glad we did it that way cuz it was terrific... and easy to arrange ! My hubby ordered their Cubano sandwich while I ordered a cheeseburger. He loved his Cubano, which came with a side of mac 'n cheese. The mac 'n cheese was light in flavor, I think because of the kind of cheese used. I prefer more flavor, but it wasn't bad either. My( burger was quite large, and it was really tasty... very nicely seasoned beef patty, and it had all the things I like... cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle.... and catsup. I was very happy. It came with fries, but I had my fill of fries with all the lobster rolls I had ordered along the way, so I didn't eat them. Plus, there was a slice of blueberry pie calling out to me, so I wanted to blow my calories with the pie... and so glad I did cuz it was another spectacular piece of blueberry pie. Against my will, I split it with my hubby. Lol. It was a great way to end our meal. (Turns out we never got dinner that night cuz we were so full from such a nice lunch.) Side Street Cafe is definitely going on my radar if we're ever fortunate enough to return to Bar Harbor.
