Stopping at Geddy's for lunch has become a family tradition and it always feels like coming home. Our party of 12 was seated with no wait on a Monday afternoon. The lobster stew and clam chowder were outstanding and the fig, prosciutto and gorgonzola cheese pizza was a uniquely delicious. The service here is, and has always been, top notch.

I actually loved Geddy's. I know it's a tourist establishment, but, we are tourists and they had a wonderful menu and ambiance. We requested to sit by the window to have my birthday lunch and loved watching the sun set over the water. This is in a prime spot right by the wharf and has a gorgeous view of the water by the windows, but has a great bar and more seating in the back. Menu is huge with sandwiches, fish, pizzas, salads, etc. We went with the warmed brown butter lobster roll and a margarita pizza add sausage. My husband is a pizza guy - has it like 5x a week - so he's picky. He loved this pizza and said it was really top tier. I also thought it was very good - crust and toppings all great and cooked well. Sometimes margarita pizzas are runny due to less cheese/sauce ratio but this one was good and crust was yummy. The lobster roll was a different way to have it - I usually have it in the mayonnaise sauce chilled, this one was warmed up with brown butter on a delicious bun. Very good. They have 3 different lobster rolls on the menu to satisfy whatever the craving/need. For desset - we chose the chocolate death parfait. It was SO good. Not something I would usually get bc it was so heavy - but we were in town for my birthday so, treat yo self! Layers of chocolate cake, dense white marscapone cream and chocolate mousse with caramel and toffee chunks. Yeah, sign me up for that. Don't forget to visit their gift shop directly underneath and off to the side - it's huge! It actually has far more than the standard cup and t-shirt or hat. Expect loads of gifts and souvenirs and some awesome t-shirts. We got more than a few things in this surprise shop. 100% recommend this place.

Fast service, reservations and walk ins welcome, the haddock was amazing and they also have really good pizza. A little upset they got rid of the whoopie pie. I was looking forward to trying that. Our server wasn't the friendliest but everything else was great. Check out the apparel shop underneath!!

Here we are having some dinner before heading back to Camden for the night.. Kris ordered the fish n chips supposedly a specialty & I ordered lobster stew. The best lobster stew I've ever had. Every chunk of lobster melted in my mouth. The broth was a very rich cream. FYI: I'm stuffed to the gills, I couldn't even eat the luscious blueberry pie that I really wanted but I'm a good doobie & held back. Our waitress was excellent her name was Ada

We are a big group of 33 but Gedd'ys was able to accommodate us all. Food was great! Nice lobster roll and salad. Drink was a nice Pinot noir. Good place to hang out at the end of a rainy day in Acadia

Few Bar harbor locals suggested this place for a lobster dinner, so I decided to check out one. I tried their Cap n Geddy's lobster bake special which came with Lobster, Clam chowder, corn & classic Maine blueberry pie. Lobster (served hot) was okay not great or wowwww in my opinion for how much it costs. I have tried lobster before. (Just for a record here). I really liked their clam chowder and blueberry pie. About ambiance, this place is packed every day. It was busy on a weekday night can't think about how busy it can get during a weekend. Haha Staff (Ann Marie) was nice & has very good suggestions!

Stopped here on a cruise and ChatGPT told us this was the best place to go for lobster. We just had a lobster roll at our previous stop so opted for something different and tried their lobster pizza, homemade, fresh crust...delicious! It was light, refreshing and cooked to perfection. We sat at the bar, it was a tight restaurant so not a lot of room to walk to tables or bathroom but have you a cozy east coast vibe with their decor. Our server did a phenomenal job at taking orders, making all the drinks and just being a pleasant person - even with all the tourists asking her a million questions. Glad we stopped

Colby was a great server and provided excellent service. Cool restaurant near the end of Main Street close to the shore. Large bar area and eclectic decor. My husband and I shared the sweet refreshing blueberry lemonade, half a dozen fresh oysters, steamed mussels and their jalapeño bacon lobster roll. It was a tasty satisfying meal after spending the morning walking and shopping. Be sure to stop by their gift shop downstairs for souvenirs!

Hate I couldn't give more stars, food was awesome, server (Brittney) was totally awesome, location smelled good, looked good, tastefully redecorated. Best meal we have had.

Delicious! We came after a long hike in Acadia. It gets busy, but we went in April so there wasn't a long wait. The inside was so fun with all the antique signs. So many gluten free options, we loved it here. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I know this place is kind of touristy but my family and I really liked it. The service was excellent and the waitress was so pleasant. I got fish and chips. It came out nice and hot. My hubby enjoyed the taco salad. My son had the fish sandwich and my other son enjoyed the salmon. I got the blueberry lemonade and it was amazing. I love the fun decor too.

Put a visit to this Bar Harbor institution on your 'must do' list! Fun cocktail menu (I had the Bar Harbor Ice Tea), fabulous local oysters, and the mini Lobster Bake which for me was Maine on a plate. My boyfriend had the Atlantic Fish Pie - a very memorable dish filled with haddock, scallops, lobster, and crab - total deliciousness! DJ was our server and was fantastic!

Fancy pants presentation and all things considered some of the best crab cakes we had on our trip. Bartender was really friendly and was super proud of their whiskey/bourbon collection. Miss Elizabeth B (6/25 Review),…read more I appreciate the time you took to go scorched earth on your recent review of Table Salt in Bar Harbor, ME. It was a motivating factor to visit the establishment, enjoy a lovely meal in a lovely town, and tip heavily. You claim to be a culinary source of authority. I think it's great that you own a Subway franchise in New York City, but I might hesitate from throwing around the word 'chef' too haughtily. I mean just because one wears a cowboy hat does not mean one owns cattle, am I right? Perhaps there were dishes on the menu that one could argue were overengineered, but they tasted great! And consider that you have no idea where in the culinary journey their chef is, nor what the market needs or will bear in Bar Harbor. The place was packed. Service was great. Food was divine! On a Tuesday night. Maybe next time you visit a restaurant, leave your Michelin yardstick in the trunk of your broomstick, and simply relax. Or possibly return to Bar Harbor Bicycle Shop, another establishment you experienced through your Vantablack-colored glasses and blew up on this site. I'm sure they would zealously rent you another bike if you promised to venture into Acadia and get lost. Cheers!

These were VERY good and I was jealous. I loved them. I chose the fish of the day which was haddock with rice and veggies and a pesto sauce that was SO good! Very fresh and filling. For dessert, I wanted to try the Indian Pudding a la mode and our server informed me that it was very rich and was somewhat like pumpkin pie, ginger cookies and bread pudding. It was something different, but VERY potent and a bit much for us. We swapped it out for the blueberry apple crumble and were much happier with that.
